Renovated 3 bedroom 2 full bath home. All Sealy beds. The house is equipped with DIRECTV and Wi-Fi from May-October. There’s a TV in the master bedroom and a smart TV in the living room. Master bedroom has a king bed, one bedroom has a queen bed, and one bedroom has 3 twin beds (one is bunkbed). Large back yard (no fence) with a beautiful patio, stone fire place, and outdoor TV. There is a charcoal and a gas grill. A little less than one mile from town and the public beach. Just around the corner from dinner at Bentwood in the Marina Grand Hotel. We are strict with the NO PET/NO SMOKING policy. Please be respectful of this policy.

Relaxing Getaway

Spent a lot of time outdoors on the back patio on the comfy outdoor couches while watching the outdoor TV and the beautiful fireplace. In the morning we experienced a doe with her 2 fawns. Love it.

The Cutest House With a Killer Patio

My girlfriends and I had an absolute blast staying at Jen's house. We spent a lot of time sitting on the gorgeous back patio and it was plenty of space for our group of 6. The house is in such a great location to get to restaurants, shops, the beach and local attractions. Would definitely rent again!

Wonderful weekend!

I can’t say enough good things about this property and Jennifer. The house is nicely updated and very clean. The backyard, where we spent most of our time, is the best part! Comfortable patio and beautiful lawn to hang out in. Jennifer was a great communicator and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable given the state of the world right now. It was the perfect relaxing weekend my family needed. Recommend staying here!

Girls Weekend Getaway

This nicely decorated house was very clean and in a great location. The covered outdoor patio was beautiful with a gorgeous fireplace and comfortable seating. We really enjoyed the house and appreciated the detailed directions about TV remotes, etc. There were no martini glasses so we bought two and left for next guests if needed. Note, there is no martini shaker in the house. Other than that, we highly recommend this house. Thank you to the owner.

Our third time still a charm!

This is the third summer in a row that we have rented Jennifer's house, and we are more impressed with each time we stay there. Jennifer is always upgrading her property, especially her amazing backyard gathering area which is now covered with a beautiful fireplace and TV for outdoor viewing. The yard is super-spacious and well-equipped with everything that you would ever want, and the home itself is the same. The furniture is very modern and stylish, the interior is super-clean and well-maintained, and the bedrooms are large and super-comfortable. The two bathrooms are also excellent and spacious. We fully expect to make it four summers in a row next year at Jennifer's wonderful property!

A great rental property that just got even better!

My family group had stayed at this property last summer and we loved it so much that we chose to stay there again. This is a very modern, clean and beautiful property that is also well-located. Jennifer, the owner, did some major upgrades since last summer, including building a fantastic outdoor fireplace to complement a backyard grill and patio area that was already spectacular. She also upgraded the landscaping so that the property looks great both inside and out. This house makes great use of its space, with a nice-sized kitchen, three good bedrooms, and two full baths, plus a very well-furnished family room area. The location is excellent, too, as you can easily walk to the beach or to town, but the house is on a quiet street away from the worst congestion of New Buffalo. Jennifer could not be more pleasant to deal with. When my 80-something parents got there too early and occupied the house before the cleaning people had a chance to do their job, Jennifer calmly called me and allowed me to contact my parents to enable the cleaning staff to do their job. She could have scolded me because the 4:00 p.m. check-in time was very clear, but instead she was very pleasant even though the mistake was on our end.

A little slice of heaven

Jennifer I must say first was an amazing host. She was above and beyond to see that my stay was everything I needed it to be. That being said it was a lovely property in a quaint little neighborhood near every yet.. so peaceful. Many naps were had in the amazing outside space. I will ever be grateful. Loved the patio!

The property is very nice and clean and it is close to the beach and the town and restaurants. We loved the outside patio and enjoyed wine by the fire place while listening to cicadas and the night sounds. It was a lovely weekend!

Perfect for weekend family getaway

We loved our stay at this house in New Buffalo! Great location, walking distance to town and beach or just short drive. Property was very clean and well maintained. The house was truly perfect for our family - we especially appreciated the extra attention to detail to make it kid friendly (we have a 1.5 and 3 year old). The house is stocked with a high chair, pack n play, even child proofing gear for outlets and cabinets. Our kids also loved running around the spacious backyard! Jenn was wonderful to work with - can’t recommend this property enough!

Family vacation

The house was perfect for the whole family. The outdoor space makes the entire home. It offered extra square footage for the family to enjoy. Close enough to town to walk and get coffee and utilize the shops. Overall great stay here!

Excellent Stay!

This was our first time renting a house and it was an excellent experience. The property owner responded with in minutes and answered all our questions. The house was very clean, updated, and stocked with everything we needed. We have three young kids and the property was perfect for them. We drove to the beach and downtown since we had a lot of things to bring with the kids. We were able to easily find parking. The kids loved the playground on the beach. We would recommend and stay at this property again.

Clean, comfy cottage

We enjoyed this newly renovated cottage that is close to everything in New Buffalo. Bedrooms are comfortable and the living room is a cosy spot to relax. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook at home. We especially liked the outdoor space with the fireplace and seating area.

Nice cozy home close to everything

Nice home, walking distance to downtown area and beach. Great outdoor patio area w/ fireplace and Tv. Seemed like a larger backyard than neighboring homes, which came in handy w/ kids. We didn’t grill but there was a gas grill and a charcoal grill plus a picnic table. Would love to go back in summer.

Amazing Outdoor Patio/Fireplace in Sweet Beach Town

This was our first time to Michigan and we loved every minute of it and this property. The highlight of the property is BY FAR the outdoor patio space that has a full size wood burning stone fireplace, comfy patio furniture, a wonderful outdoor TV, eating table and picnic table and an amazing backyard big enough for bags and playing catch/baseball. The property itself is about a 10-15 minute walk to the New Buffalo Public Beach. We opted to drive however as we have two children ages 9 and 10 and with all our stuff it was too much of a trek. You could easily walk into the quaint downtown of New Buffalo however for dinner/drinks/ice cream. Jenn has this property fully stocked for the beach, including a nice wagon, beach chairs, huge fluffy beach towels, beach toys, boogey boards, and a beach umbrella. The home itself is nicely remodeled, has good bedding and towels and the kitchen is fully stocked. We honestly didn't spend too much time inside as we were either outdoors exploring the towns or on the back patio. We explored Warren Dunes State Park just up the road and climbed the huge dune there that allowed for seeing the Chicago City Line, picked blueberries at The Blueberry Patch in Sawyer and spent the day in St. Joseph on Sliver Beach, a large beach, with a huge playground, splash pad/water fountain area, eating place and large clean bathrooms. The New Buffalo beach is quite nice as well just smaller with a smaller playground and snack shop and public restrooms that are cramped and not the cleanest. The property is just a 2-3 minute walk to a private beach that you can swim at but we primarily used it as a 'sunset beach'. We'd walk down in the evening for the sunsets and my son would skip rocks. You could swim here ( and avoid driving to the main New Buffalo beach), but bring your swim shoes as it is very rocky. Overall we really loved this property and it's amenities. We would have enjoyed it being a smidge closer to town and the beach but gave that up to enjoy the amazing patio space! Lastly, I have never had such amazing communication with a VRBO property owner before. She was super informative, helpful and answered all of our questions immediately via text. I was SO impressed. It is very apparent she loves her property and strives to make sure her guests are comfortable and have a wonderful experience.

Great Family House Close to Everything

We stayed with 2 adults 3 teenagers. Great clean updated home with an awesome outdoor area. All restaurants, shops and beach are a short car ride or a 5-15 min walk. The teens walked into town / beach many times throughout the day. We drove to the beach everyday, because of chairs, cooler, etc. The home has towels, beach boards, sand toys and chairs to use. The beach was not to busy with easy parking if you got there before noon. We found plenty of restaurants with outdoor seating. Easier to get a table if you make a reservation a day ahead.

Wonderful stay

Clean and Relaxing!

My girlfriends and I had the best stay at this property. It was very clean and loved all the decor and renovations. We spent most of our time on the back patio and enjoyed watching some of the wild life that walked by. We also loved that we were in walking distance to restaurants and bars. We will definitely be back, loved our time there. Thanks again, Jenn, for your hospitality!
