* Paid Permit parking behind complex, guest must provide license plate to parking company prior to parking, instructions sent after booking.
* Guest can purchase additional permits from parking company.

** We provide parking for 1 car and is valid based on the license plate you enter into the parking company's system. It is valid only during your reservation. Upon confirmed reservation a link will be sent to you via text (or email if necessary) so that you can provide the license plate number. The company will send this message immediately AFTER we inform them of your reservation. If you are renting a car and do not know the plate # yet, you will receive reminder texts/emails the day before & at the time parking permit is valid.
We are not responsible for tickets issues, cars towed/booted or any damage to guest’s vehicles while at the parking lot whether from casualty or negligent or intentional wrongful acts of other guests or third parties. Guest waives any and all claims, damages, and/or causes of action for personal injury or property damage against us (the host) and the parking company for use of the parking lot. We are not responsible for any articles left in vehicles.

-2nd floor - Elevator is available

-Trash Valet service available Sun-Thurs evenings. On Fri/Sat you can dispose of excess trash in Large Garbage container located behind the complex (see pictures & info in welcome book)

-Possibility for noise - Bricklight District is lively and this apartment is located right in the action. This apartment is right above a restaurant, you may hear the music they are playing - if it is too loud we message them and ask them to turn it down.

-Security Deposit - if you damage the home, you may be charged up to $500
-Ring camera installed on front door, we use this to monitor guest count and for security purposes. This is the only camera.

The Neighborhood:
The Bricklight District is located on Central and Harvard Blvd. It is surrounded by many other points of interest including the University of New Mexico, CNM, Nob Hill and Downtown Albuquerque. The area offers numerous restaurants and shops that are unique to the Bricklight District. While exploring the area, you may stumble upon a painted mural or two done by local artists. The Bricklight District is very recognizable due to its exterior red brick design.

This is an Urban area, as with any major city, has a large population of eccentric, transient, and homeless people. This is something for you to be aware of but not alarmed by. When we get the chance we stay in this apartment with our two young boys and feel completely safe. In addition, the Brick Light Apartments have security onsite or on call.

Hot air balloon weekend

We immediately felt at home during this stay. The apartment was clean and comfortable and we loved the view from the balcony. The Bricklight District neighborhood offered many food & drink choices. This was definitely one of our favorite stays !

Just like the pictures!

Secure, easy check in and excellent communication with the host. Everything we expected and a bit more. Comfortable bed and great access to basics: paper products, soap and lotion, shower essentials and even coffee! That made things so convenient. Even a cute little bistro downstairs with good food and wine. A big thumbs up from my husband and me!

Love it!

This is my second time at this property and I love staying there. It’s a huge one bedroom apartment. The apartment is very clean and comfortable. I appreciate all the attention to detail-everything you need is available. The deck is wonderful with an outdoor table, chairs, pillows and Mountain Views. I really like the location-so close to UNM, convenient parking and easy walking to many restaurants and shops. I highly recommend this property!

Convenient Location in Albuquerque

This location was excellent. It was clean and well stocked. It was within walking distance to stores and a various number of restaurants. It was also right across the street from the University which was my reason for being in New Mexico. I enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a clean place to stay in a nice area for any length of time.

Lovely large one-bedroom apartment

Excellent cleanliness. Every useful item you may need, even coffee, is included. Neighborhood streets and sidewalks are littered, but right across street from campus, Route 66 and famous Frontier Mexican Restaurant. Nob Hill is to the right, Old Town is to the left. Loved Foosball table. (Screws in legs probably need regular tightening.) Note, toilet is not comfort height.

Nice Location

We enjoyed being across the street from UNM and close to restaurants. Sometimes music could be heard from the restaurant below us but loved being out on the huge deck watching people. Overall very nice stay and host very responsive and helpful.

Wonderful VRBO

This was a great stay, location was perfect as many places are walking distance or just a short drive. Unit was clean and spacious, and communication was very easy. There is minimal noise from the wine bar below but this had been mentioned and it didn't affect me as far as sleeping. Will definitely stay here again if in town!

Anniversary Trip

We had a wonderful stay in NM and this property was perfect for us. Clean and behind locked gates which felt extremely safe. Good neighborhood with little restaurants if needed. We spent most of our time in Santa Fe which is about 50 minute "Very Easy" drive. We would recommend this property - a little confusing figuring out getting in but after that - no issues! Thank you for the use of your property! One last comment - too bad the pigeons have found your outside deck, due to bird droppings, this space couldn't really be used.

Comfortable & Convenient

We very much enjoyed our stay in this spacious one bedroom apartment! We stayed for 8 days and felt very much at home there. The bedroom/bathroom area is huge with a comfortable King bed and plenty of extra space and storage. We especially LOVED the very large deck with it’s amazing mountain views. It was wonderful to enjoy meals and drinks on the deck. We were also very pleased to be so close to UNM and to many nearby restaurants and coffee shops. We appreciated having all the little necessities provided in the apartment like hand soap, shampoo/conditioner dispenser, laundry tabs… Communication with the owner was timely and helpful. We hope to be back and definitely recommend to singles and couples.

It's a kool place to stay

This apartment would be well worth for a weekend getaway for couples or maybe a few girlfriends or guy friends group to rent and enjoy the nightlife. This place is very much designed around the mid week and weekend nightlife that happens in the area. You are smack dab in the middle and you have a balcony to either enjoy it from afar or go downstairs and join in. My mother and I stayed here 2 nights and even though things were popping off outside we didnt hear too much noise and enjoyed the streaming services offered. We appreciated the washer/dryer to get laundry from the trip done. Also the huge livingroom, bedroom, and bathroom is just great. We arrived pretty late after check in because there was a tornado warning and we had to stop and wait but the property owner said no problem and basicly said to drive safe and thanks for letting her know. They respond very quickly to messages and if you have any questions I'm sure she would be happy to answer. Quick tip: it can be a bit confusing how to get to the room so find the room first before you bring out your luggage. Also the parking spots as well can be a bit confusing to find because they aren't in a certain order. Just know if you see the brick building with the string lights that go across the street then you're in the right place just check around the building. The apartment worked out great for us since it rained and was really windy, we weren't bored there are all kinds of games and ofcourse streaming services to use. It's a great time !!

Another great property from this owner

Previously, we'd stayed at another Taryn property in ABQ. As with that experience, this stay was equally as pleasant and enjoyable. This apartment is exactly as advertised: a well designed, fully stocked, clean, comfortable space. The management team is VERY responsive to all communications. We would not hesitate to stay here again on a return trip to ABQ and can enthusiastically recommend it to others, as well.

Classic Albuquerque

Super nice apartment. The location is right by everything that I love about Albuquerque. The management is very responsive and helpful. Overall a great experience staying here.

Very Nice Stay! We would like to return.

Even during CoVid there were enough excellent take out restaurants to explore. It was nice to walk through Knob Hill and the University. We felt very safe which was my big concern The bed was so super comfy and it the complex was very quiet. The balcony is a an added bonus. There were no problems that had to be addressed but the host responded immediately to any question we had during our stay. We will definitely return! First time in Albuquerque and we loved it. Host really maps out the check in process in detail, although I should have printed it out before hand because it can be a little tricky.
