The villa is designed by renowned Costa Rican architect, Benjamin Garcia Saxe, and built by Gad Harel, the top custom homebuilder in Santa Teresa; it is decorated by Sofia Interiorismo. Villa Akoya mixes elements of tropical architecture and contemporary finishes with an ultra-luxury design.

This brand new, three-bedroom luxury villa is centrally located on the world-famous white sand beach of Santa Teresa. Surrounded by nature, with coconut palms framing your view of the bright blue Pacific Ocean, this is the ultimate Santa Teresa vacation rental for relaxing and enjoying tropical paradise.
Three spacious and stylish bedrooms each have en-suite bathrooms, big picture windows, and are outfitted with high-quality bedding and bath linens. All bedrooms have king beds. The villa comfortably accommodates up to eight persons.
An open concept kitchen and living area features high-end appliances, four bar stools at a large countertop island, and a dining table with seating for eight persons. The raised ceiling provides abundant natural light. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors that allow for seamless indoor-outdoor tropical living lead out to a wide terrace next to a sparkling and refreshing pool directly in front of the beach. This is the perfect spot to enjoy Santa Teresa’s magical sunsets. A low bamboo fence keeps the property private yet does not interrupt the stunning ocean and beach panoramas.
Comfortable and luxurious, the villa is fully-equipped and complete with beautiful amenities. There is 100MB Wi-Fi throughout, and a TV in the master bedroom. Air-conditioning and ceiling fans keep you cool on the hottest beach days.

Great Family Stay

We stayed as a family of four plus the grandparents and we had a wonderful time! We spent most of our time at the pool listening to the ocean right in front. Perfect spot to enjoy the beaches of Playa Carmen and Santa Teresa.

Outstanding management and staff

We could not be more impressed by Lee, the house manager and the house staff. They responded promptly to any needs and ensured that our stay was perfect. Lee was able to book us in restaurants and make recommendations. The house is beautiful and comfortable. The view is breathtaking. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Amazing villa

In our humble opinions, we think we stayed in the best beachfront house in Santa Teresa! Villa Akoya is so beautiful, perfectly located on the beach - with easy access to surfing, beach bars and restaurants, and to town amenities. We spent a lot of time in the pool even in the rain - which happened a bunch of times since it was June. The interior stayed nice and cool and dry and was well equipped with whatever we needed. The daily cleaning service was very convenient- fresh towels! And the security guy was so very nice and kept us feeling secure. Though I felt very safe in Santa Teresa anyway. Our concierge, Milena, was the best - she set us up with taxis, our buggy at a low cost, ideas for activities and restaurants, and was immediately responsive to all our needs/questions. Thank you Milena! We can’t wait to return (maybe in the drier season…haha).

Labor Day weekend getaway

What a beautiful zen vibe. Welcomed by Heli! Great communication and excellent response to questions. She was helpful with suggestions around the area. She set us up with Caesar for surf lessons and amazing fun day zip line and ATV with Ronny! Thank you Alex to come let us back in after we locked ourselves out. Beautiful home and great location. Even better than the photos!

Akoya Villa was absolute perfection in paradise! The daily housekeeping, groundskeeping and security allowed for complete relaxation. This property is near the public beach access but we never worried about anything. Nir was an incredibly attentive and communicative property manager, catering to our every need. We were traveling with our 6 month old grandson and Nir made sure everything was perfect, from getting us a crib to lending us his very own high chair to use. Villa Akoya is so close to town where there are some of the best restaurants around. We also walked on the beach to several yummy restaurants! They have access to all the activities you can possibly think of. We even hired a chef one night and he cooked an absolute delicious Argentinian birthday dinner for my husband. Nir even brought over a birthday cake for him. So very thoughtful and special. We had such a relaxing stay and look forward to returning. Oh also, it's pure bliss falling asleep to the sound of the ocean waves! Pure Vida!

Spectacular Home on the Beach close to restaurants & stores

We loved our stay at Villa Akoya! The house was amazing. Lee, the property manager helped us with all of our needs, including a last minute rental car that was needed. She was fabulous.

Perfection in paradise! Beautiful architecture, modern open design with amazing outdoor pool and deck spaces on the sand overlooking the legendary surf of Santa Teresa. Lee and Nir were great hosts! Attention to details make for a luxury experience. Amazing beach property

From check in to check out we’ve had a great experience! The house is absolutely gorgeous and on the perfect location, the house was very clean and we were so surprised by the great service provided. Outstanding property

We enjoyed Santa Teresa very much, and I believe we stayed in the most awesome house in town. It doesn’t get better than this! You have to be informed about a few things: there will be a housekeeper on the property every day, and a guard outside every night. Guests cannot use the washer and dryer, the housekeeper will do laundry for you. Great managers, very helpful and responsive. Enjoy Vila Akoya!!

Santa Teresa Paradise

The property itself is incredible! The house is right on the beach and offers everything you need to enjoy a relaxing and fun time. Greeted with tons of fresh fruit from the hosts and had a daily cleaning n laundry which was great! You can walk to endless bars, restaurants and little shops and having security each night was great. Very safe area but home being right on beach is reason for nightly guard. Only challenges with being on the beach is the bugs that get into the home which wasn’t ideal, and it can get noisy at night with beach goers. Overall though it’s an incredible property with tons to do and again the location is spectacular

Amazing property

You can't have a better location than this home. Right on the beach with every modern amenity needed. The sunsets are spectacular right from the back deck. The pool was a perfect temperature and the beach has white sand with waves you can stay in all day. Walk to restaurants and grocery. Cleaning person each day and a guard all night. Nir and Lee were fantastic. They were responsive to every text within minutes. They made our vacation simple and streamlined with assistance in booking everything from taxi rides to restaurant reservations. It doesn't get much better.

This home was perfect for our stay. Nir and Lee are amazing hosts

We could not believe how beautiful and practical this home was. It is right on the beach and right next door to a great restaurant called Manzu which is also on the beach. You will not want to leave the house because everything is there and when you do Nir and Lee will help you with whatever activities you like. We went surfing, ATVing, zip lining, hiking, swimming in rivers with waterfalls and horse back riding on the beach and in the mountain. We will deffenetely be back.

Es un lugar al que volvería mil veces más !!! Es literalmente en la playa!!! A dos pasos Del Mar... la limpieza y el mantenimiento diario excelente!!! Muy cerca de comercios y restaurantes!!! Weekend at Akoya Village

Great beachfront house! Me and my family had a lovely weekend at Santa Teresa. The host was so nice, we were welcomed with fresh fruits and some drinks. Later on, he gave us a delicious bread. Very nice guy who was always readily available through texts to help us out, give us recommendations and check if we needed any help. The maid who cleaned the place daily was also very nice. We recommend Akoya village! We will definitely return

Right at the beach, modern one story villa, plunge pool, hammock to look at over the ocean, great kitchen, master bedroom to enjoy the ocean view each morning, two additional en suite bedrooms with king size beds, lounge chairs and outside sitting area with BBQ.

Modern Beach Villa

This is a beautifully designed villa right on the beach. The layout is perfect for a family and the location is close to plenty of good restaurants. The property manager, Judit, is great and very responsive.
