About this property

Our cottage home is a family-oriented, non-smoking, 3 bedroom, 2 full bath ranch style home built in 2000. It will sleep 6 comfortably with a king sized bed in the master bedroom, a queen sized bed in second bedroom, 2 twin beds in the third bedroom. The living spaces include a large living room, dining room with a dining table that seats 6, a full service kitchen, a den and a large 12' x 40' screened in back porch with ample seating for conversation and a large table that seats up to 10. We are located on a quiet street 1.3 miles east of the ferry dock.
The driveway will hold two trucks plus boat trailers side by side. We have many amenities to ensure a happy, relaxing vacation at a home you will want to return to year after year!
* Must be 25 years of age to register. Sorry, no pets. We are unable to accommodate bachelor or bachelorette parties.

Annual fishing trip

As always a extraordinary clean home with ample parking for two trucks and boats. Highly recommended location, Sara and Mike are great hosts , this was our fourth year there and it gets harder and harder every year to leave for home. Can’t wait until next year

Fishing with the Guys

We have stayed here for several years now. It is is a quiet area with nice neighbors. Short drive to anywhere on the island. Lots of room for everyone to sleep and to relax quietly in different areas of the house. The back porch is a great hangout. Thanks again to the owners for years of memories.

Our rental on Kelly’s Island.

We enjoyed the inside of the property, but the outside including the screened-in porch could have been cleaner. Lots of cobwebs etc. The beds were comfortable. Had everything we needed. When I booked the stay, I didn’t realize there was a golf car and we weren’t permitted to use. It was confusing about what we were to do with the garbage. One place in the instructions it said to put it in the garbage can at the end of driveway and in another place it said for us to dispose of it. We would rent it again. Loved being right on the island

Kelleys Island Getaway

We love Kelleys have been here many times. Hiking, beaches, bicycling, there are lots of family oriented things to do. Our rental was quiet and close to everything. It was as described with lots of amenities. The porch was fantastic, perfect for relaxing and very private.

Overall a Decent Stay! (See pros and cons)

Overall, my family and I enjoyed our trip to Kelly’s Island! Here are the Pros and Cons we found at this particular VRBO: Pros: - showers/toilets and beds were clean - back porch was an amazing place to relax - plenty of parking - quiet street - yard was nicely kept - fire ring area was a nice feature - although we didn’t read or play any games, it’s nice they offered plenty of books and games - appreciated the recommendations of places to see on the island Cons: -diningware was dirty (some of which had been put away in the cupboard dirty) - crumbs on the seats (couches/armchairs and dining chairs) - floors were not swept/vacuumed - the soaking tub had some sort of drip stains, we didn’t feel comfortable using it - tables, counters, and fridge were sticky and dirty; we ended up wiping down most of the kitchen to feel comfortable - coffee machine was covered in grease and had old grounds - wood pile was not as advertised in the pictures (almost all the wood was gone and what was left was covered by brush and some poison ivy) - some of my family members felt the beds were uncomfortable

Wonderful stay - as always!

We had a wonderful "repeat" stay here. It is always clean, comfortable, and convenient. The porch cannot be beat. We are so comfortable, and appreciate the care that Sarah and Mike demonstrate with this property. Love it!

Annual Kelley's Island trip

We have rented this property on numerous occasions and have enjoyed our stay each year. The back porch is awesome. Extra freezer and ice maker are nice to have. We will be back as long as you will have us.

All around perfect!

This property was exactly as listed and exactly what we were looking for! The house had everything we needed for our stay and the screened in porch was the perfect place for us to relax and chat each evening. This was the first time we have invited friends to the island for our annual trip and the house was the the perfect size for our group. The owners were very pleasant to communicate with. We definitely plan to stay here again!
