DESCRIPTION:
This inviting lake access home with a boat slip, is located in the Lake Pointe Subdivision, directly across from Wisp Resort. Nestled between Wisp Ski and Golf Resort and Deep Creek Lake, just off popular Marsh Hill Road, Cabin and Canoe at Lake Pointe offers the best of all four seasons. No matter the time of year, wonderful memories are sure to be made! Lounge out in the living area in front of the fire or read a book in the coziness of the sunroom. Let the bubbles of the hot tub alleviate any stress or relax around the fire pit enjoying s'mores and telling stories before climbing the spiral stairs to upstairs queen suite or collapse in either of the two main level queen bedrooms. The Lake Pointe community offers a tennis court, a common lake front area with boat dock, where your dedicated boat slip is waiting for you, and a lakeside deck with seating. Or, stroll across the street to Wisp and enjoy the many activities and adventures they have to offer! Reserve Cabin and Canoe today and find a retreat ready for your mountain escape!

ACCESS DETAILS:
Approximately .2 miles to Wisp Lodge Ticket Window with access to all slopes. Distance includes walk out of community, across Marsh Hill Road and through Wisp parking area. Slope availability does vary throughout the season. Visit Wisp Resort's website for slope conditions.

There is a community dock located along the lakefront of this community, with each space assigned to a specific home. The slip for Cabin and Canoe is available for guest use with the dock number posted in the red Welcome Binder that is in the house. Please note that docks are only guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

This home comes with free access to the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC)! This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. Ugh!

The kitchen and bathroom was so outdated. It was like going back to the 90’s. The positive was comfy beds, short walk to the lake and nice hot tub. But, for the cost per night was not worth it.

Clean, Spacious, But the 1980s Want their Decorating Back

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a clean, spacious and comfortable home with completely outdated decor (which doesn't make a difference in the quality of your stay). It's directly across the street from Wisp Resort so you can walk to the mountain coaster and other attractions, and it's within a couple miles of lots of great activities, including boat rentals, an aerial adventure park and good food.

Deep Creek

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was comfortable and well equipped. There is plenty of seating in the dining area and the living room. The beds were comfortable. I didn't care for the steep spiral staircase so we traded the master to our adult children and we stayed in the first floor bedroom. We had 5 adult guests and a small dog. The house could comfortably accommodate more adults. It was nice to have parking for 3 vehicles. The dock was nice and the location on the lake was in a nice cove. The walk to the dock was not bad (but there many steps - though not steep - for those that cannot tackle the steps). We had no problem with the walk to the dock. We rented a boat nearby. The hot tub was clean though the back porch area, in general, could be cleaned a bit. The decor is a bit outdated but, again, we were very comfortable. I would recommend this property and we would stay here again.

The deck with hot tub and grill were extremely dirty and unusable. The interior was good, the shower was great. The location was good.
