About this property

We offer a cottage that we made in an old winery.

It consists of a living room with kitchen, a bedroom with 2 beds 90, a bathroom with shower and toilet, a large utility room with washing machine. Upstairs is a loft with sitting area (sofa bed) TV, DVD and a bed 120.

You have a small courtyard with garden furniture and barbecue, you can park your car easily in front of the housing.

Nearby, ie 800m lies the village of Artigues de Lussac where you can find our merchants, baker, butcher and grocer and a tennis court.

We are located 12 km from Saint Emilion, medieval city and famous for its wine, Bordeaux 35km and 90km from the Atlantic Ocean.

As winemakers we even we can, if you wish, introduce you to our business and our wine.

Great gite, in a perfect location

We have had a lovely 10 days on Christine's gite, she was warm and welcoming and the bottle of their own wine when we arrived was very welcome after a 12 hour journey! The gite is perfect for a couple, the garden was completely secure for our dog and you are only 10 minutes away from everything. We hope to be able to come and stay again.

Friendly owners, nice location but needs an update

First of all, Christine and Friends and Family were very Nice and helpfull people. The location is also very Nice (but a bit further from Bordeaux then witten in the ad). So we had a good stay, but there are a couple of things we liked to know before our stay: -it smells a bit stale in the house -there tiger mosquito‘s in the yard, all day long -Bordeaux is approx 90 minutes drive away -The butcher had the best Merguez we ever tasted! -There’s this great aquapark in Libourne. -

Lovely stay

We used this gite as home base for our travels around the area. Great central location for wine tasting, beautiful medieval villages and historic sites. Gite kitchen was adequately equipped and we cooked in many evenings. I will have to say that the furniture could have been a little more comfortable, the only sofa was a convertible sofa bed and was not great for lounging/watching television. We did appreciate the linens that were provided and the washing machine was a great addition considering we were there for 6 weeks. The only thing we were disappointed by was the exterior view, the picture provided in the listing indicated there was a vineyard view but unfortunately that was not the case. We appreciated the wine left for us and purchased additional bottles during our stay. Our hosts Christine, Manalo and Lucas were very kind and friendly. Christine was very understanding when I had to change our reservation due to a medical issue. This gite is very well set up for a small family. My husband and I love this area of France and hope to return soon.

Deze keer kleiner verblijf geboekt omdat we maar met 2 waren. Gedeeltelijk huisje is klein, maar knus en proper en voorzien van al wat je nodig hebt.

Très bien

Très beau gite tout équipé. Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances qui ont commencé par un excellent accueil des propriétaires, qui nous ont offert une bouteille de vin de leur production, et nous ont donner quelques adresses (marché, restaurant et commodisées). Séjour au top.

Au coeur et à cœur des vignes

Un séjour dans un gîte joliment décoré. Christine est aux petits soins et vous accueille avec le sourire et une jolie bouteille de vin de .leur production, une charmante attention. Rien ne manque, Christine et Manolo ont le contact facile et savent rendre ce séjour très agréable, vous invitant à un apero très sympathique. C'est un gîte à recommander, un havre de paix. Sejour dans le vignoble bordelais

Gite conforme à la description faite. Calme et propre, le jardinet clos est pratique pour le chien. Proximité du beau territoire bordelais, accessibilité facile pour visiter la region.

Séjour du 12 au 19 juillet 2023

Nous avons passé un super séjour au gîte de Christine et Manolo ! Je recommande vivement, il est très fonctionnel, même pour une personne à mobilité réduite , notre chien se sentait vraiment bien dans le parc fermé ,et le parking ombragé personnel et un plus. Christine et Manolo nous on vraiment accueilli avec beaucoup de gentillesse en nous faisant déguster leur excellent vin. Bref,tout était parfait, il ne manquait rien ! . .

Au cœur des vignes

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine de vacances située au cœur des vignes, de belles balades avec nos 2 chiennes. Nous avons découvert le vignoble bordelais comme on le souhaitait. Par contre il faut prendre la voiture pour faire les courses, aller chercher le pain…. La boulangerie située à plus de 1kms est fermée.

Great cottage in the vineyards.

Well-appointed cottage in the heart of the Saint-region. Only minutes to Saint-Emilion and Libourne. Clean and comfortable, good for couples for family. Great host!

Wonderful Location!

This was a good location for us to explore the beautiful and historical sites that interested us. The cottage is good sized and has a well stocked kitchen. Christine gifted us with a wonder bottle of the wine from their winery. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Séjour très agréable

Gite bien équipé et aménagé, chaleureusement agencé et confortable. Situé dans un endroit calme, il dispose d'un espace extérieur très agréable. Christine est très sympathique et arrangeante. Nous recommandons donc cette location.

Gîte au top

Très Charmant gîte, agencé avec goût, une belle zone extérieure avec tout ce qu il faut pour une famille avec enfants. Notre hôte a été très acceuillante, disponible, avec plein de petites attentions. Nous recommandons ce gîte, nous y reviendrons.

Charming

Pleasant gîte close to St Emilion on a small vineyard. Hosts were lovely and welcoming - encouraging us tp participate in the “vendage” where we were invited to help cut grapes for harvest. Understanding when we lost the key to gîte - and shared their excellent wine. Merci!
