About this property

Comfortable modern house for 6 people, full of charm a few hundred meters from the beaches. Large wooden decks in the middle of the forest with outdoor shower, and hammocks plancha. For nature lovers, surfing, kite surfing, golfing or relaxing.
The house was completely renovated in 2012, fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large living room with a very high ceiling, open to the forest by a very large bay window.

Beautiful house near the pine forest

We, a family of five, stayed at the Durand's private house this october for one week and had a great time. Beautifully re-made house with 2 floors, big outdoor wooden terrace, directly adjacent to a local "Landes" forest. Super quiet neighbourhood. Very well equipped place, everything is there and works. Nice, light rooms, good beds, very nice kitchen and living room. After sunrise the sun is on the house and terrace, though there are trees shading most parts of the terrace except the upper part directly in front of the huge glass windows. Here we were able to enjoy the sun from 11 am to 3 pm. By car the house is only 1-2 min away from "les Bourdaines", a local beach access, maybe 5-10 min by foot. Le Penon with some Shops is in same distance. The host and his local services were very friendly and helpful, organisation was very easy. In summer it must be terrific to be as close to the shore and avoid taking the car, plus having the cool forest behind the house. We highly recommand this place and we would come back any time.

Une maison au calme dans la forêt à quelques minutes à vélo de la plage

Deux semaines en famille très agréables dans la maison dans la forêt. Superbe terrasse en teck dans la forêt de pins et une maison très moderne, très joliment décorée et très bien aménagée. Cuisine super équipée. Propreté et accueil impeccables. Tout était parfait 😊

Des vacances comme vous l'avez imaginé

Maison telle que décrite dans l'annonce et avec de belles surprises concernant l'équipement de la cuisine, ustensiles utiles, DVD, etc. Wifi marche tres bien. Commerces et plages à proximité (Nous avons tout fait à pieds sans aucun problème). Quartier très tranquille et une très belle terrasse ombragée. Un accueil très chaleureux et non compliqué, très appréciable quand vous avez un long voyage derrière vous pour arriver.

ein kleines Idyll

Ausgesprochen geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus, sehr funktionell (kleine Schlafräume, kleine Bäder+WC = hier hält man sich ja nicht lange auf), dafür ein großer sehr schöner offener Wohn-Küchenbereich mit breitem barrierefreiem Austritt auf die geniale Holzterrasse (2 Ebenen) "im Wald". Dieser Aussenbereich ist ideal zum Chillen, großzügig, fast immer schattig und mit Allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. (VORSICHT mit Kleinkindern - steile Stufen) Die Einrichtung (Mobiliar, Geschirr, Küchengeräte) ist super, zeitgemäß/modern und es passt einfach stilistisch Alles zueinander. Das Haus liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Lage, aber nicht weit weg von Stränden, Geschäften und Markt (3x wöchentlich). Idealerweise mietet man sich Fahrräder für die Zeit des Aufenthalts. Wir waren das vierte Mal in Seignosse, erstmals zu sechs Personen. Alle waren rundum begeistert und bestens erholt ! Bernd (Köln)

Charming House, but renting process with complicate circumstances

We've really appreciated the beautiful house, the great location and the well equiped kitchen. In our opinion, the deposit is unreasonabely high. We also came to terms with the only and tiny toilet and the less hot water for showering. Unfortunately we had e bad experience after leaving. We told the host that we will arrive late and have to leave early which suddenly became a problem at the end. After our departure, we were accusing of damaging furnishing and the curtain. At the end the host withdrawed an amount from our deposit. Although we loved our stay in Seignosse, we wont recommend the house as we feel unfairly treated. What a pity.

Ein sehr gemütliches und ruhiges Haus in Waldrandlage

Das Haus liegt am Rand einer Waldsiedlung (Kiefern, Korkeichen). Zum Meer kommt man gut zu Fuß oder (einfacher) kurz geradelt. Durch die Lage ist es absolut ruhig und angenehm. Die Terasse ist schön groß, beschattet und perfekt zum Essen und abhängen (vor allem in den beiden Hängematten). Es gibt eine gasbetriebene Plancha zum draußenkochen. Hervorheben will ich die sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Einkaufen kann man sehr gut und bequem auf dem Markt (dreimal die Woche). Hinweisen sollte man allerdings darauf, dass die Toilette (wie in Frankreich nicht unüblich) sehr klein ist. Bei den Körperlängen in unserer Familie durchaus ein Thema (aber zu verschmerzen). Um das Haus wird sich sehr gut gekümmert, dadurch ist es ordentlich und gepflegt. Als die Spülmashcine einen Defekt hatte, kümmerte sich Nathalie sofort darum und organisierte in Rekordzeit einen Techniker (wir hätten es nicht so eilig gehabt...). Prima! Strand und Meer sind herrlich, der Ort bietet Abwechslung. Kurz und gut: auf ein Neues!

Super séjour ! On y retournera

Nous avons passé une super semaine dans la maison dans la forêt! Au calme absolu, avec une superbe terrasse donnant sur la forêt, on se croirait dans une cabane dans les arbres ! La maison est très bien équipée et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. On reviendra avec grand plaisir! Et super accueil de Nathalie, tout a été parfait!

La maison bien nommée

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans la maison de la forêt. Cadre contemporain, cuisine fonctionnelle bien équipée, séjour spacieux, grande baie vitrée sur la forêt, terrasse comme suspendue dans les arbres (conforme aux photos). La situation est idéale, non loin de la plage (10 min à vélo) et au calme de la forêt de chênes liège, sans être isolée. Excellent accueil par Nathalie (personne qui s'occupe de la maison pour les propriétaires), aux petits soins. Maison à recommander

Great Holiday, Quiet Area

The detached house is in a quiet area of woodland about a 10 minute walk to the local market and local shops and restaurants, 5 minutes further on is the beach.. The house was clean and well equipped, the garden at the back, backed on to the woodlands and one afternoon we saw 2 adult deer, our children loved this as did we. The only negatives I have is the massive damage deposit (1500 Euro in cash) there is only one tiny toilet for a 3 bedroom house and the amount of spiders in the upstairs bedrooms
