The apartment is well equipped and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with lots of pots and pans, a salad spinner, and good selection of glasses, plates, cups, and chef’s knives. A grocery store is just across the street, and the Paul Bocuse market is a short walk. All appliances worked well, and the apartment was stocked with a few things that were very handy: sugar, salt , pepper, olive oil, vinegar, plastic wrap, foil, paper towels, coffee filters etc.
One of the big advantages of this apartment is that it is very quiet at night. There are multiple window coverings, so if you need complete darkness to sleep well, you’ll be very happy here. But during the day, you can open everything up, and it is light and bright. Also, if you open the windows on both sides of the apartment, you can get great air circulation. Though if you do this at night, the mosquitoes may join you.
Walking to the town center is easy, but you can also walk to a bus stop, two blocks to the north. On my departure, I walked to the Part Dieu train station, which took around 15 minutes. Uber costs approximately 8 Euros one way, while a taxi costs about 20 Euros.
I would defintely stay here again if I return to Lyon.
