About this property

Nestled on a quiet cove with boat dock and swimming dock. Great fishing and close to water sport area for skiing, tubing and jet skis. Located in Hickory Ridge, with an 8 to 10 min boat ride to Six Mile for some of the best bass fishing in the area.

This roomy 2 bedroom 1 bath home can sleep 6 comfortably. Front bedroom has a queen bed, back bedroom has a king bed, sleeper love seat in sitting area, 5 memory foam cots that fit nicely in living room or can be placed in bedrooms as well. Fully stocked kitchen with full size fridge and freezer. Range with double oven, dishwasher & microwave. There's a 46" tv with dvd player in the living room in case it rains. Games are in the seats of the sectional along with lots of cozy blankets. Bedding for all beds is provided along with towels, washcloths and some beach towels. Laundry room is in the out building which also has camp chairs for use.

Outside you'll find a patio table with 4 chairs and cushions to enjoy your morning coffee or evening beverage while watching the local wildlife. There's also a gas grill on the patio. There's "cowboy" grill/fire-pit to roast those marshmallows or cook up a pot of stew. Enjoy sitting on the swing watching the sunrise/sunset. There's a peddle boat too! So many ways to enjoy this place!

Excellent place for total peace and relaxation!

This was the perfect rental for me and my husband to spend on our anniversary for some peace and quiet! Internet service and WiFi very poor but it was nice cause this is the type of place to get away from all of the technology and enjoy each other! Boathouse was very nice to keep our boat when we wanted to go fishing and not have to worry about going to a boat launch every time. Bed was comfortable and view was spectacular! Will definitely book here again!

Peace and tranquillity

This is a great place to stay! Very quiet and peaceful, with beautiful sunsets. It had super easy water access for our kayaks and a dock to tie up. Caught several very nice bass during two days of fishing. Would definitely stay there again in the future.

Toledo Bend experience

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The cabin is very well furnished and very clean. It was everything we expected and more. Lots of parking space at the end of a street that leads into the lake. The king size bed was a little too firm for us, but the front bedroom was ok. Boat slip looked to be accessible even though the lake is 7ft low. I trailered my boat every evening so I didn’t get to try it. Thanks for hosting us.

Great time at the lake

We enjoyed our stay at the lake and would recommend this property. Everything was as described and the house came with everything we needed. Even with the water level low we will still able to dock the boat and the quiet cove was perfect for the kids to swim and fish. The neighbors were very friendly and helpful when we had boat troubles. Great stay and would recommend for anyone looking for a quiet get away spot. Owners were very helpful and responsive as well.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We've rented multiple camps along Toledo Bend over the years and this property was among the most favorite places we've stayed (if not, THE most favorite place we've stayed). It has all of the amenities - - - big covered boat dock, nice back porch, great kitchen and living room, nice bedrooms (and beds), etc. It was fully equipped with utensils, pots, pans, towels, etc. The front yard was nice and big, too, with plenty of space to park my truck and trailer. Plus, this area of the lake had excellent fishing (we caught loads of bream and catfish, and even a few bass . . . . I wish there was a way to attach a picture of our catch to this review). I would recommend this place to anyone, and we'll definitely be staying here again.

Nice weekend!!

Enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We've stayed at several places on the Louisiana side and this was our first on the Texas side. It is a good boat ride from the launch that the owner recommended but it was a nice launch. We really enjoyed the cover for the boat at the dock. There was a nice light out by the dock with the cleaning station and electricity. The only thing we have to complain about is the no cable tv and only one bathroom. (tv is for dvds only) We would have liked more wash cloths and dish towels, but we made do. The internet was not the best either. It's a great cove for swimming. The neighbors were nice also. Overall we liked the camp and will stay here again. Thanks for sharing your camp with us.

Has everything you need for a great fishing getaway.

Brought my son and two of his buddies for the weekend. The back porch is large with a nice gas grill and furniture. The porch swing and fire pit out back was also enjoyed. The covered boat slip was very convenient, and has power to plug in the batteries. We spent very little time indoors, but it was clean and nice. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything you need. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting top rate accommodations on T-Bend!

Enjoyed our stay at this nice little house on the lake. Very clean and well stocked. Didn’t have much luck with the fish but really loved the covered boat deck for our boat! Found great restaurants and loved the country store on the corner that had everything!!
