One floor, no steps, open floor plan. Great location close proximity to I-90, turnpike, I-480, Lake Erie and State Parks. Situated on five acres of privacy but within minutes you have access to all restaurants, shopping, nightlife and activities. 1500 square feet guest house with capabilities to accommodate RV’s or any large transportation vehicles-easy driveways and turnaround. Huge covered patio overlooking the grounds. You will love the beauty and peacefulness that surrounds this property. The property is located halfway between Downtown Cleveland and Cedar Point. It is in Amherst Township, it's Elyria zip code for mailing purposes. Our property was acquired by my parents in 1980 and kept in the family for future generations to enjoy. With many hard years of work with family and friends, it became what it is today. We hope you will enjoy the beauty of the grounds and nostalgia it has to offer. It's an amazing and very safe location with quick access to all your heart desires.

Fabulous VRBO and Hosts

Great property for fishing trips!

Parking worked out perfectly for having multiple boats. The washer and dryer in the building was a necessity on a rainy fishing weekend to get everything dry.

Black River Fishing Trip

Great place to stay for my family and friends for a weekend fishing trip on the Black River. The Amherst Family Guest House is a very clean comfortable home with plenty of room to spread out having all the comforts of home. We also had plenty of parking without backing them in for our three boats with more available. Also, the beds were very comfortable with a great shower after a long day on the water. We will be sure to use the Amherst Family Guest House again on our next trip to the Black River.

Second time staying at this place.Quite peace place too stay. Lots room, and lots room park. All 1 floor no steps. I give 20 star place too stay!!!

Fishing and relaxing

Whent fishing for 3 days . Cooked all food there every day . We were able clean are fish there at house. Was able to drive boat all way around house. Did need to back around. Lots parking. Very nice Peaceful place stay. I give 20 stare place too stay. Will be back lot more !!!😁👍

Totally accessible for wheel chair users. Brand new washer dryer and dishwasher. LOTS is space and great parking. Comfy recliners and beds!

Rented for fishing had LOADS of parking space never even had to back up other than hooking up truck and boat. Beautiful drive all around home is absolutely AWESOME I can't wait to return this has become my favorite place to stay out of all the cottages I rent while traveling with my boat

Unique Pole barn home and spacious
