My husband and I came up to do some kayaking and hiking and this cabin was perfectly located for those activities. The cabin was clean and cozy. The cabin was fairly close to a few others, but it was wonderfully peaceful and quiet which was exactly what we needed.
Quiet little cabin with everything we needed! Next to Northern Exposure Campground which was great if you have friends/family at the campground like we did. Loved the fenced in backyard and the fire pit. We definitely would come back!
The cabin was as advertised. I would definitely stay there again. It is a good location as you are not far from alot of the main attractions. Area was quite and peaceful. Was a nice, clean, and comfortable cabin to stay at.
Being able to use the campground amenities was awesome. This cabin was perfect for my son and I. We enjoyed being able to have campfires to make s’mores.
This location was perfect. Close to the campgrounds my grandchildren were at. I didn’t spend much time during the day there, but evenings and mornings sitting out on the patio listening to the birds was relaxing. Very well stocked kitchen, clean and loved the up north log furniture! Thank you will be renting again.

Perfect Spot for the Manistee River Trail!
Our stay was great, and we'd love to use it again! The owners were great at responding and the place was super clean which is the most important for my wife. The private backyard with fire pit was an unexpected surprise that we enjoyed after a long day on the trails!
Great house! Near the dam, and very quiet neighborhood. Many thoughtful touches inside, including excellent knife ware. Follow Google maps for the detour.
Attractive, Functional, Clean, Cosy. This cute little cabin was a perfect place to connect with a very dear friend for a couple days. We were able to cook our own food, sleep in comfort, and enjoy the firepit; which is in a well maintained and private backyard. We also enjoyed walking to the campsite down the road. I brought a card table so we could put together a puzzle, and play cards.
The place was clean. Loved the smart TVs. Connected youtube for music, felt like home. Bathroom is nice. Only issue is blinds arent blacked out, so, it could bother light sleepers in the mornins, not taking any points off for that thought. Overall nice expirience!
we loved this place so much, I decided to extend our stay for another night. The owner responded quickly and within 20 minutes, our vacation was extended. I couldn't ask for anything more.
This property was perfect for our weekend in Mesick! We enjoyed going to the Morel Festival, hiking, and bonfires.
The cabin was very clean and cozy. Jared was responded to all my questions and was a breeze to work with. We’re looking forward to coming back again.
We have completed the NCT in that area. We chose to drive a bit farther just so we could stay in this very lovely, exceptionally clean and well stocked cabin a second time. We are sorry to have to move north. Highly recommend.
We enjoyed our stay at Jeff and Jennifer's newly updated cabin. The hosts did a very nice job remodeling this cabin with some very nice finishes. Can't decide what we liked most of all: the oversized mirror in the bathroom with plenty of hidden storage, the brand new washer and dryer to clean our post race kits, the wood bar stools at the counter, or the collapsible laundry basket that hides away so nicely! There was just enough room for the three of us but would probably be more suited for two. The cabin in well stocked with a full kitchen, extra bedding for the futon, towels if needed, and laundry/dishwasher detergent.
Thanks again Jeff and Jennifer! We really appreciated our short stay.
Our plans took a 180 when my husband injured his foot and was assigned 4 weeks of a “boot”. No cycling, hiking or canoeing (not enough leg and foot room 😞 - we tried!). We did day trips up the peninsulas, Lake Ann Brewery Co. has live music T-R 😁, Frankfort, Manistee, Traverse City. Enjoyed the quiet and relaxed atmosphere. We brought a card table and chairs for a space to play cards and do puzzles. Great property and owners.
From moment arrived loved the quaintness of cabin and the shaded backyard with fire pit. Our favorite thing to do after a long day of hiking and site seeing was go back to the cabin. Enjoyed the air-conditioner if needed, supplied kitchenware and comfy bed. Look forward to another visit. Sharon
