Beautiful!

My family all stayed here for our wedding. It was beautiful and everyone was comfortable. We really enjoyed watching the birds and animals in the desert from the covered patio. Thanks for a wonderful experience. The only thing that could have been better was directions on how to get in. There are two combinations needed. One for the garage door and one for the internal door from the garage to the house. The lock box in the front door does nothing. We had to call to get the combos. The only one provided in the text message was did the internal door. So we stood outside in the heat with our bags for sometime before we were able to get in.

Beautiful location, but needs some care.

Great location. Gated, secure, quiet. Walking trails. Well appointed with furnishings and accessories. Needs some maintenance. Middle bedroom shower did not function during our stay. Soft cushy slippers are suggested. The floors are Saltillo tile. Beautiful but hard on aging knees. Vacasa is very organized regarding comms, check-in, checkout.

Disappointing

While the location and actual property was nice, the listing fell short of expectations and promises. 1. House was cold when we arrived. Could not locate heater and was unclear that single heater would heat house. 2. No direction booklet. One page with very limited information. Every home any of us had previously stayed in had a detailed booklet on the house, property, etc. 3. Shower in one of the bathrooms was broken. The main reason we chose this property was for a third bathroom. Was not fixed until we returned home late on the second day. 4. No complete cookware. No dinnerware made cooking at home challenging. 5. No wifi access directions so we could not access the wifi. 6. VaCasa customer service was of little help. It was obvious they did not know the property. We would appreciate remuneration of some kind, since our stay was disrupted by lack of communication and instruction from the owners or the rental management company.

Lovely home in beautiful resort

We loved the home as it was much nicer than the pictures showed. The king bed is huge which is nice, very clean and stocked with towels, soap, etc. We loved The Boulders Resort, very quiet and more remote than places we have stayed in the past. We are runners so could get in lots of miles along the roads in the area and soak in the neighborhood hot tub. Dinner and drinks were easy at the bar at the resort main area. We explored Carefree and had lunch there as it is a charming little town next door. Great stay as we were looking for a quiet desert stay during the cold winter months. I highly recommend.

What a great property! Pictures do not do justice. Super spacious, great layout. Really appreciate the bathroom for each bedroom. Located within the Boulders property. Everyone is super friendly and it is super nice having all the restaurants on property. Will 100% be back!

Great stay at The Boulders

The house was lovely - large, light and airy - even better than the photos. We were a group of 5 adults and there was plenty of space with the large living room and separate sitting room/dining room. The outdoor garden area was attractive and quiet with nice furniture to relax. The location was good; a 2 minute walk to the pool or a 10 minute walk to the tennis and golf clubhouses. We would happily stay again or recommend it to others.

Great home layout. Some watched TV and others read. Separate areas plus private & serene patio. Pool, tennis and golf available. We didn’t use but looked amazing. I’d say more of an adult community. Didn’t see young families. We would re-book this home.

Whitethorn Villa

The property description was accurate and the home was beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay but there were a number of small issues that did influence our opinions about how the property is maintained. It appears that as things get broken at the property they are not replaced or fixed. Not having enough glassware and dishes for all the guests that the home accommodates is really such an easy fix so I find that it's not acceptable. Neither is not fixing the broken blind in master bedroom so that privacy and light control can be maintained. Or a broken bedside lamp. I also say this about the bed linens. All pillows should have the proper size cases and all pillows should HAVE a case. I have always found it helpful that management leaves some instructions about how things operate in a home but nothing like this was provided so we had to do a lot of guess work to figure out how things should be.

Cozy

It was a very cozy home. Our biggest issue was no hot water for a day and a half. Turns out they had turned off The heat on the water heater. Once on it was great. Curtis came and got us back online and he was wonderful and funny.

Sonoran Desert Paradise

We love this place. It is our second stay in 2 years. The patio is so private and right on a wash, the birds are everywhere. The best part for us was our sunset walks on the nature path that meanders around the Boulders property. We would walk for about 2 miles around through lovely desert scenery, with the sun setting and (lucky for us!) the full moon rising. We will be back!

Wonderfull at the Boulders. Unit needs tlc, light bulbs, cobwebs removed, batteries in remote for ceiling fans, outlets in master bath not working. Please address for future guests and we will return!

The house is tired and poorly maintained .

We have rented this property several times over the past 5-6 years. Each time it seems more tired. Someone did do some decorating w decorative items. But, the utensils in the kitchen need replacing, the kitchen supplies were old and sparse- bowls, accessories and such were sparse. No dish towels at all. The furniture outside is saggy, dirty and tired, there is a decorative wooden ladder outside that is falling apart and is dangerous., could fall against a window and break it. After a couple of days, mouse droppings were noticed on the kitchen counter and in a closet. Also, cockroaches were spotted. I e-Maile a manager and never heard back. Lively spot with so much to offer in the area. This place needs attention. The French doors on the outside are looking very sad, the patio needs cleaning and some repair work. No one is taking care of this place.

Sonoran Desert

Very comfortable beds clean and spacious great property for large group. Couple of items need attention hence the ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1- master bathroom all outlets were not working which was inconvenient as I had to run to another bathroom with a mirror to dry and curl my hair. 2-The vent fan in bathroom 2 was out of order and it made the shower steaming hot for my son. 3-Master bedroom ceiling light was also burnt so made it pretty dark in there.. All in all I would return to this property again.
