About this property

Our house is located in the quiet medieval village of Palalda, close to the border between France and Spain. The village dates back to Roman times and is built on a hill overlooking the river Tech valley and the Pyrenean oak forests. In the morning and at night the sky above our house is filled with swallows, and the only sounds you will hear are their calls and the rustle of the river in the valley below. Palalda, like the rest of Roussillon, has a strong Catalan character to it, and you are just as likely to hear Catalan spoken in the street than French.

Our house is Located in the tranquil medieval town of Palalda, near the border entre Spain and France. Vivre une expérience en plein village catalan

Très joli gîte typique et rénové avec beaucoup de goût dans le village médiéval de Palalda. Vue magnifique et petit extérieur appréciable. Il faudrait juste préciser que l'accès ne peut se faire qu'à pied et que le parking est éloigné. Un séjour très agréable.

Un magnifique spot au calme !

Une maison agencée avec goût dans le respect du cadre magnifique du village de Palalda. Un pied à terre idéal pour randonner et partir à la découverte de nombreux sites des P.O. Prenez le temps de savourer le cadre la maison s'y prête !

Erholung in Palalda

Uns hat der Aufenthalt in dem ruhigen Palalda mit seinen schmalen Gassen und Treppen sehr gefallen und wir haben uns in dem Haus wohl gefühlt. Der Ausblick ist ein Genuss, die Umgebung sehr sehenswert und bietet viele Ausflugsziele. An kühleren Tagen schürten wir abends den Kaminofen an. Vor Ort werden die Gäste gut und sehr freundlich betreut, falls Hilfe nötig sein sollte. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft.

Excellent séjour à Palalda

Maison de village très calme avec une grande terrasse bien ombragée, on peut y prendre tous les repas, très confortable, propre, accueillante, joliment restaurée. Emplacement génial, suivant le reps où les envies, randonnées en montagne, baignade en rivière ou journée à la mer : top ! Une excellente semaine.

Die Aussicht entschädigt für den doch beschwerlichen Weg zum Haus. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge an das Meer, nach Spanien oder in die Pyrenäen. Empfehlenswert.

Vieille pierre tout confort

Séjour passé avec deux enfants. la maison offre tout le confort requis pour passer de très belles vacances. Toutes les pièces de l'étage ont une vue magnifique, et la fraîcheur de la chambre parentale incrustée dans la pierre est très agréable. Superbe terrasse pour des apéro et repas en famille avec toujours cette vue sur les Pyrénées majestueuses. Quelques randonnée sont possibles au départ de la maison, pour les commerces il faudra prévoir la voiture. Région splendide, location vivement conseillée !

A wonderfull, spacious house.

The house is in a very nice hamlet, called Palalda. The house is good equipped and spacious and has a nice shady terrace. A perfect location for an stay in the region.

Schönes Haus, parken schwierig

Das Haus hat uns gut gefallen. Gemütlich eingerichtet, schöne Küche, schönes Bad. Die Angabe „Parkplatz „ in der Beschreibung ist aber etwas irreführend. Das Haus befindet sich in einer Altstadt mit kleinen Gassen in die man nicht mit dem Auto fahren kann. Wir mussten also unser Gepäck inkl Babybett, Hochstuhl usw durch die steilen Gassen tragen. Das sollte doch in der Beschreibung angegeben werden.

Perfect Place

We spent two wonderful weeks in this perfect and charming house! It is tastefully decorated and very spacious. It has the charme of a classic and old village house and has all the equipment and comfort you need at the same time! The view over the valley and the location in the middle of medieval Palalda are breathtaking. We didn't mind the daily stroll to and from the car at all but enjoyed the exclusive atmosphere of the house! The area offers a lot of activities - we had a perfect mixture of hiking and sightseeing! Our kids enjoyed the place and the vacation as well! It is sure on the list of places to return to!
