FOOTBALL:
Cheer on the Fighting Irish from the Colfax House! Close enough to drive, walk, Uber or scooter to campus, but a few steps beyond the craziness and noise of overexcited fans. We can help with anything you need in tailgate supplies, game day plans, dining recommendations - just ask! Families with little ones can easily head home after tailgating for nap time, while mom and dad watch the game on our two big screen TVs or read by the cozy fire. If you listen carefully from the backyard, you can hear the marching band, the midnight Drummer's Circle and the roar of the crowd. And don't forget to look skyward at kickoff - the flyover jets zoom right over our roof!

WEDDING GROUPS:
The Colfax House is the perfect place to stay for a wedding at the Basilica or SMC! Fill the rooms with the bride's family, the bridesmaid crew, or a group friends for a reunion. Lots and lots of clean, comfortable sleeping and getting-ready space; neutral, understated decor with beautiful natural light for gorgeous photos. We're happy to assist with recommendations on anything you need (hair, makeup, photos, reservations, etc.). If you can't be in your own house for this special weekend, we're glad to provide that same comfort and togetherness for your family here in South Bend.

GRADUATION AND PARENT WEEKENDS:
Join forces with the roommates' parents, and you're ready to celebrate! Great spot to get to know the families of your kids' friends and continue the parent festivities after your students have headed out to the bars for the evening. Just be sure to invite the kids over for brunch in the morning!

ALUMNI VISITS AND REUNION:
Like being back in your dorm with all your friends...but not. Relive those college years like a grown up in a big, clean, inviting space, completely free of shower caddies, RA's or parietals. Did we mention Corby's is right down the street?

SPECIAL EVENTS:
Concerts, tournaments, conferences, debates, camps - a perfect place to set up home base.

FAMILIES:
This is our family's primary residence, so we are particularly well set up to accommodate multiple generations! Two downstairs bedrooms allow for older family members to avoid the stairs or parents to be free from worrying about keeping the kids quiet while others sleep. Big backyard for running and using those outdoor voices. Zoo and playgrounds nearby. Full access to kitchen and laundry to keep life easy. Let us know the ages of the children visiting - we'll be sure we have sleep and safety covered, plus other people's toys and books are always more exciting than your own! We prefer to live easy and simple, and there is little that can be ruined by kids being kids - you can make yourselves comfortable here. WE CAN OFFER LOCAL BABYSITTER RECOMMENDATIONS!
