Enjoy the spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico. This unit is a center 10th floor condo and located near the Gulf State Park and fishing/walking pier. The balcony is one of few in this building that is oversized and has new, comfortable patio furniture. Watch the dolphins in the mornings and beautiful sunsets in the evening.

This condo is furnished with everything you need for a relaxing, fun vacation. It is decorated with a beach theme. There is a king-size master bedroom with private bath, and a queen sized bed with private bath. The sleeper sofa is in the living room. The kitchen is also fully equipped and washer/dryer is in the utility room.

The property also has heated indoor/outdoor pool with whirlpool hot tub and deck. There is a Fitness Room on the second floor. You can look at the beach while on the treadmill and other fitness machines. The private beach is just a few steps away and has year round lounge chairs and umbrellas for rent.

Great Vacation
The room was spotless. This two bedroom unit had larger bathrooms, balcony, and a utility room. Much more spacious than the one bedroom units. Royal Palms isn’t the fanciest condo, but the location can’t be beat.

last gasp of summer!
Trying to hang on to summer with another visit to Gulf Shores. Lovely condo at Royal Palms that met our needs nicely. Great view and comfy beds. Quiet complex. Always a treat to wander down to Sea & Suds for lunch by the ocean. We would stay at this condo again in the future.

Great location, it is next to a state park, so it is not as crowded as the main part of the beach. Condo was as advertised. Hosts were very polite and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

We had an awesome week during our visit. It was just me, my wife, and our granddaughter. It was her first time to the beach. We enjoyed our time on the water, the pool and just hanging out in our room. This is the nicest place with the friendliest owners of any place we’ve ever stayed. We’ll definitely be staying here again on our next trip

Lovely property, pictures were actually what you see. The Royal Palms did not disappoint. Pool and beach were great! Enjoyed having all the seating in the tv area, for 4 people it was really nice. Would definitely stay there again!

Perfect Vacation
This property was perfect for our family. Upon arrival, the property was clean and listed exactly as it was. The balcony was huge and provided plenty of seating. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. Our favorite part about this condo building was that it was small comparatively to the surrounding buildings and the beach was adjacent to the state park beach and was not crowded like you might see with large complexes. The parking was easy and the gate was accessible. The fishing on this beach was AMAZING. We fish every evening from the beach and our daughter cause so many large and different fish each night. We would most definitely stay here again, and plan to in future visits!

everything went as expected.
An additional $60 for a second parking pass seemed very excessive considering the upper deck was almost completely empty the entire week. just saying. One of the elevators seemed to have a "ghost" which caused it to stop on floor 3 about 75% of the time even when no button was pushed. The sliding glass doors that protected the ground level elevator area were a joke. The unit was however well kept. the King size bed we slept in was excellent.

We really enjoyed our stay in 1005 Royal Palms. Teal was easy to communicate with and prompt in responses. The bed was very comfortable; the condo was well stocked with all necessities. We enjoyed our week at Gulf Shores. The balcony view from the condo was amazing. We could see dolphins swim by and the sunsets and sunrises were awesome. The condo was very nice and comfortable for our needs. Easy access to getting around the area and over to Orange Beach.

Great condo!
This condo is in a great location, at the far end of the beach next to the state park, where less people are on the beach! We didn’t use the pool, so I can’t say much about that, but the condo was clean, nicely decorated and had everything you’d need to enjoy a week (or two) at the beach! Close to shops and restaurants! The host was exceptional, and answered any questions I had prior to our trip and day of!

Overall a good experience
Overall we had a good experience. Due to the windy weather, the elevator was not reliable and we had to walk 10 flights of stairs several times. Condo was clean and everything worked. New appliances were nice.

Nice but
The unit was nice although there were a few things I had issues with. First the ice machine didn't work much if at all. Mattresses were uncomfortable and you should provide luggage stands for suitcases, that's a big issue for me. The master shower was updated beautifully but the vanity was not It was way to short for the average high person and the exhaust fans in both bathrooms were sooooo loud. Also I shouldn't have to hang around the condo to wash a load of cloth because it overflows. Replace it with a new one or a bigger one. The pull out couch bed was unusable the mattress was so thin and was bowed it seemed..

The condo was as advertised and very clean and we were very pleased. I can tell the owners take pride in their property and I hope all who stay there do the same. Two minor issues; I sent a preliminary note to the owners via the Vrbo message portal with a few questions prior to arrival that went unanswered. Second, on the date of the arrival, I had to contact owner to gain access to the condo. Check-in information was not provided on Vrbo app

Ray and Teal live in Ooltewah, TN, it is 2 miles from the Chattanooga city limits. We have lived in our home for 22 years and enjoy being close to the Chickamauga Lake. We have a wonderful cleaning/maintenance couple that live in Gulf Shores that are available for any needs our guests have.

Why they chose this property

We have vacationed in most areas of Florida, South Carolina and Alabama. For many years we returned to the Keys, St.Augustine, Tampa, Destin, Panama City, ect. We started going to Gulf Shores about 8 years ago and fell in love with the area. We knew that this was the place we wanted to return to year after year.

What makes this property unique

When we first entered this 10th floor condo, we fell in love with it. The balcony was probably the selling point. It was one of the largest balconies overlooking the Gulf that we have ever stayed in. We furnished it with Hampton Bay table and chairs, plus two chaise lounges. When we cooked in the kitchen, we still had a beautiful view of the ocean. The privacy of this condo is very unique. You are not surrounded by high rises and when you look to the left, nothing but State Park. The Security staff are always available to help our guests and closely monitor the property.
