Located in L'Houmeau in Charente Maritime, Camping Au Petit Port de l'Houmeau**** welcomes you all year round for a getaway between land and sea on the edge of the Atlantic, just 6 km from La Rochelle and the magnificent Ile de Ré.
Located on a 2.5 hectare site 1 km from the seafront and 1.7 km from a pebble beach , this campsite will charm you with its relaxing natural setting and its friendly, family spirit .

For everyone's happiness, the establishment offers comfortable accommodation and numerous services to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
There you will find a heated outdoor swimming pool , a snack bar with terrace to eat, eat an ice cream or have a drink, a barbecue area , a laundry service as well as access to free Wi-Fi .

For a pleasant family stay, the campsite offers you access to a football field, pétanque courts, games for children, and a basketball court.
Also find our mascot Poulpi with our children's club in July and August for ages 4 to 12.

You can rent bikes to explore the local heritage and the coastal path will perhaps take you to the Port du Plomb for a stroll along the seaside. Otherwise you will opt for the discovery trails of Houmeau, Nieul-sur-Mer, Lagord or others and join La Rochelle and its Towers, its Aquarium and its numerous museums (ticket sales and reduced rates on site) before embarking on a crossing to the Ile d' Aix or Fort Boyard!

Try the Charente experience and come and enjoy the Atlantic beaches, from Houmeau to Châtelaillon via Ile de Ré and soak up the atmosphere of this region with its remarkable natural and historical heritage!
