Set alongside Oahu's Iconic Diamond Head this spectacular home has been designed with the beauty of the island in mind. The upstairs bedrooms feature widespread ocean views. While the lower open air concept provides the indoor outdoor experience with a back drop of Diamond Heads terrain. The main house offers 3 full bedroom suites (2 King, 1 Queen) sleeping a maximum of 6 people. A separate lower level guest bedroom suite (1 Queen) sleeps an additional 2 people. Ideal home for larger groups and couples retreats with convenience of traveling together but exclusivity and privacy between the rooms.

Within walking distance to Makalei Beach Park and Leahi Beach Park. And just minutes away from the Waikiki scene including the Honolulu Zoo, Kapiolani Park, Waikiki Aquarium, and Diamond Head State Monument. Visit the new International Market Place for shopping and fine dining restaurants. Water excursions of all types for the adventure seekers near and far. Take a catamaran off the beach of Waikiki in front of Duke's Restaurant, sail with Pirates out of Kewala Basin, snorkel out of Hanauma Bay, and cage-less shark dive out of North Shore's Haleiwa town.

The house is conveniently located near local shopping centers such as Safeway, Wholefoods, and Costco. Stock up and stay in or head out and explore everything this island has to offer. The spirit of Aloha is what makes this place so beautiful we welcome you to enjoy.

All great. Many good memories. We should have been informed about the construction site on residential home directly across the street. 7am start on many days. Ruined a beautiful Hawai’i morning. Permits need to be pulled and posted so ther was advanced notice. They stripped the whole house. Major construction project. Still going on to my knowledge. Anyway the sunsets are gorgeous and the property amazing. Mahalo.

Perfect place to Getaway

Our family loved our experience at Casa de Makalei. Perfect location and house for a relaxing getaway. Beautiful, well appointed, and very comfortable home with amazing views and short walk, ride, or drive to much of what the area has to offer. Erick and Katrina were super responsive, helpful, and great to deal with. Highly recommend staying at the house for adults and/or families looking for a nice balance of activities (great for surfers) and relaxation.

Simply perfect getaway!

We stayed here this past May. We were a large group and this house was perfect for us. Plenty of room for all and well furnished. Location was great, a nice walk to the beach. The yard reminded us we were truly in paradise. Kitchen was well equipped, bedding and linens were simply perfect. Personal AC in each room was amazing, not to mention the awesome sound system, attention to detail was noticed and this home was very clean. We would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous home!

This fabulous home is a perfect way to enjoy Hawaii located just below Diamond Head. Four bedrooms that can easily accommodate more than one family. Beautiful décor throughout and a fantastic kitchen that has everything a person would need if in a cooking mood. Very private backyard and pool area. Easy walk to a small beach. A definite paradise with all the luxuries one could possibly want! I definitely would return to this home.

Amazing Stay - Highly recommended!

This house is beautiful with an amazing view especially from the Master Bed Room. I took my family out here and we all had an absolute blast. The house was clean and had amazing amenities. There is a small private feel beach that is walking distance when you walk down the hill toward the left as well. I highly recommend staying here. I look forward to future visits and this will be my go-to house.
