Overall very pleased with the accommodations and host communication. We would have liked garage access to store some gear during our stay (5 days of ice fishing). Listing did not specify that the garage was unavailable for use. Otherwise everything was great.
The house was perfect for our recent trip. Lots of space in a quiet and scenic neighborhood. The kitchen was very well equipped for our meals after a long day of fishing. Ian was quick to respond and very helpful.
When we first arrived the house was closed up and was super hot. We opened all the windows and the downstairs cooled nicely but the upstairs took forever. The one upstairs bedroom with the AC unit was just too noisy for us but we only needed 1 upstairs bedroom.. We had to close the windows when it rained and that was counterproductive. If this house had awnings over the ventilation windows and a window that opened or a power vent at the top of the loft to pull the heat out quickly this would be 5 stars.
This house is in a great location as it's 10 minutes from everything in Gunnison. Its a quiet neighborhood with good views but still easy to get groceries, play in the river, Hartman Rocks or any other outfitters. The property was clean, had everything needed in the kitchen and worked great for our family of 5. (A couple more could fit if needed)
The pictures don’t due this residence justice, both inside and out. Plenty of room for our group of 6 for lounging, eating, and sleeping. Stunning views outside. Great location just outside of town. Friends from outside of Colorado were stunned by the night ski.
The house was perfect for the six of us. Plenty of bedrooms and living space. The yard was huge and well-cared for. Beautiful scenery and quiet neighborhood. Quick access to downtown Gunnison--the kids really enjoyed walking through Crested Butte.
The owner communicated well and the place was perfect for our family of 5 plus dog. It was quiet and peaceful. We had everything we needed and visiting deer daily!
Check in was extremely easy. Ian was on spot and quick to respond when I had questions. Perfect set up for a family get away. We took our kids and grandkids. We loved how close it was to Hartman Rocks and a stocked pond for the grandkids to fish in.
The view - what can I say? It’s even more stunning than the picture shows. And the quiet - other than occasional cows mooing (which we enjoyed hearing.) Plenty of space to spread out. It’s an older home, so there are a few updates that could be made to improve the house overall. But it was such a peaceful pleasure to have windows open and hear no sirens or cars or airplanes (even though it is close to the airport.) Kitchen was nice sized and had most everything I needed. If not, I was able to make do with something else. Ian was very helpful when we couldn’t figure out the showers. We really loved being there.
Comfortable, family friendly home close to Gunnison. Very peaceful neighborhood, loved the cows and the views from the back door. Would highly recommend.
We stayed at this property while we were hunting during 2nd season this year. It was the perfect place to stay - near our hunting area so we could get their timely in the morning and not too far to travel after dark.
The property was very nice and as described. We had two big trucks and enclosed trailers with no issues parking. Very quite neighborhood. We had wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. It was spacious, and the kitchen was well equipped. We were very grateful for the two portable air conditioners, for despite the elevation, the afternoons were really warm!
The neighborhood is outside of town, near other homes with large lots and a great view of the mountains from the backyard. The only negative was a shortage of face cloths- only two for four of us. This is a great family home in a great location.
Ian is very accommodating and quick to respond to inquires.
The property was perfectly located for many fun family outdoor activities and we were able to fit in multiple activities each day. We were all comfortable and totally enjoyed our stay. The property is private with lots of land and a private backyard. Thanks Ian.
