About this property

Welcome to WIndswept Acres in the Berkshire Mts!

This home is on a 12 acre pastural setting. In the meadow you will see a variety of birdhouses and feeders. Sit back and watch for the Northern Cardinals, Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, the Black-capped chickadees and one of my favorites-the Tufted titmouse. Next to the property is a farm where you will see horses and cattle grazing. In the morning grab your coffee and blanket (it might be a little chilly), and watch the sun slowly sneak up and over the Berkshires to the east. After a day of exploring, relax in front of the pellet stove or on the back deck as you watch the sun slowly retire over the distant Catskill Mountains of Rip Van Winkle.
Attached to the house on the far side is an apt with a private entrance for the host. The host is not always on site so please don't hesitate to message with any questions/concerns. Happy to help always!

Lovely!

We had a great stay at Windswept Acres! Communication with the owner was excellent, the home was lovely, clean and well-furnished and the grounds/scenery beautiful. We felt very at home and comfortable. There is some road noise though, so you may want to consider if you are noise sensitive.

Stunning biews

We loved our stay. The house was spotless and looked just like the pictures. Actually the setting was even better than expected with cows and horses next door and more birds than we could count. The house allowed for privacy and a few different areas for gathering. The location gave us easy access to both NY and MA. Already talking about going back.

perfect getaway in the berkshires

Had an amazing time at the property. We wanted a spot where the kids could run around, see some animals and we could jump in the hot tub. The house was clean and quiet, the pellet stove was great and there is a caretaker on site if there were any problems. Would definitely come here again.

Great home for GWE with friends

This home had everything we were looking for to make our girls weekend a success. Top on our list was a peaceful location, centrally located to the places we wanted to visit both in the Berkshires as well as Hudson valley New York. The outdoor hot tub was an added bonus!

Perfect for Peaceful Getaway

My friend and I totally enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was so relaxing after a long drive and the beds were extremely comfortable. The house is very clean and Don the caretaker very attentive. Deborah communicated quickly with us if we had questions or needed any help. What a beautiful location and perfect for spending time in Lenox, at museums and Tanglewood.

Nice house

Deborah was a gracious & available hostess. The house had all the needed amenities Main bathroom needs work. Advertised as air conditioning but only two window units in the house. House was very welcoming & location & property were great.

Lovely way to ring in the New Year

The house was clean and fresh and the property was lovely. It is close to Stockbridge and Lenox, both towns with great museums, restaurants and shops. Communication with Deborah was timely and clear. We had a wonderful time.

Perfect Setting for a Girls Getaway

The views from this property are stunning! Hot tub and lots of comfy couches were perfect for relaxing and catching up old friends. The property was very clean and had all the amenities as advertised. Owner answered questions quickly and was very pleasant to work with. Nearby Chatham was a sweet town to wander with lots of interesting shops to explore.

Beautiful getaway

We loved our long weekend at Windswept Acres! The house was beautiful, perfectly clean, and just as advertised. We enjoyed the hot tub, the comfy living room, and the incredible surroundings -- including birds, butterflies, bunnies, and neighboring cows and horses. About 15 minutes from a couple cute main streets and 30 minutes from Great Barrington, Hudson, and Albany. We hiked Bash Bish Falls, which was beautiful. Would return in a heartbeat! Great communication with host.

Wonderful weekend escape

Thank you for a warm and cozy weekend with friends despite the cold and rainy weather. Reading by the fire, soaks in the hot tub, and food around the kitchen island. Several comfortable couches. Kitchen with all necessary tools. Bedrooms were quiet and comfortable. Hot tub was amazing. Check in easy and clear instructions. Would love to return!

Amazing home with all the key points needed for a relaxing getaway! This one is special! We loved our weekend away. The home is unique and lovely. Super comfortable beds and plenty of space. You can tell the owner pays attention to details and wants guest to be happy. The hot tub was a huge draw for us and we are hot tub snobs. We have the same brand of hot tub at home and we’re pleased that the water was very clean! Huge bonus for us! The views from the kitchen and dining room are breathtaking. You Will definitely enjoy! Everything you need to cook a great meal is provided. Just bring the food! They do have a great selection of spices but, we mainly had our own. It was just nice to know we could have come without any spices, pots, pans etc. it’s all there for you! The pellet stove was so nice! The home so spacious and clean. Views are to die for! The family of bunnies grazing was so much fun to watch too! What a memorable trip. We plan to visit again!

Lovely place to get away!

Came for a girls’ weekend with my three friends. Absolutely gorgeous home, meticulously clean, and more than enough space for four people. The kitchen was the best part, it had everything we needed! We weren’t able to use the hot tub unfortunately but Deborah was awesome about communicating the situation ahead of time and we still really enjoyed the property. The house is off the beaten path but we spent the weekend exploring the Berkshires (Jacob’s pillow, dinner in Lenox, hiking), most activities were 20-30min drive which was perfect for us. Would definitely stay here again!

This property sits high on a hill with beautiful tranquil views of the Berkshire Mountains. Views change with the seasons. Summer is lush and green and in the Fall the Mountains are a cascade of reds and orange. Gentle breeze during the summer evenings with a night sky filled with bright stars.

This property is open all year round and is in a very rural setting. Fully equipped kitchen for food preparations, a kitchen island for meal gatherings as well as a farm table in the dining room. The house is equipped with a pellet stove for added warmth and coziness.
