About this property

Enjoy the incredible sunsets on this water front cabin situated on Horseshoe Lake. This lake connects to Black River Lake and Cocodrie Bayou. The raised deck has spectacular sunset views that will make your get away a once in a lifetime experience. Launch your boat less than a mile away at the marina and dock your boat on your own private pier. The marina has back down launch, fuel, tackle and live bait. Fish, ski and tube right in front of the cabin.

If you are a hunter the national reserve is less than 4 miles away. Enjoy a great hunt then BBQ & relax on the deck while telling stories of the one that got away.

If you don’t hunt, fish or boat not to worry, hanging on the deck watching the incredible sunsets will be relaxing enough.

While the bathroom is tiny and only has a shower, you will love the beaded board walls!

This cozy little piece of paradise is 750 sq. ft. plus a loft of 144 sq ft. There is a screened porch with a great view of the lake that is 360 sq ft.

Local shopping right down the road to groceries and other items forgotten. About 40 minutes to historic Natchez, MS. Stay in Paradise but get your Plantation tour in too.

Quaint & cozy cabin

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving stay at the cabin! It was clean upon arrival with everything we needed. The porch and deck with an awesome view was my favorite! Sunset is incredible! Highly recommend!

Great Getaway

This is our second time staying here so obviously we love it! It's very private, cozy, peaceful. My husband loves to fish and the kids love to swim and kayak. The porch is everything! The owners are excellent and very helpful.

Perfect Quiet Spot

This was the perfect place for a do-nothing, relaxing getaway. Checking in was very easy. The cabin was very cozy and comfortable. The owners were very responsive to our questions. We loved the screened-in porch the most. It was perfect to getting a of the fresh air of nature with none of the visits from critters. The sounds of lake lapping gently at the rocks was so soothing. We will try to book this again.

Weekend Getaway

Wow, Great little fishing cabin on lake. Very clean and comfortable. Fishing off the pier was good,you can catch get about anything from there. The sunset were amazing and weather was really enjoyable. We will be make another trip soon.

Nice little home away from home on the lake

This place was prefect for a fun little getaway with my wife and kids. We enjoyed the house, the screened in porch, and the floating dock. Beautiful sunsets over looking the lake. My wife and daughter had fun catching catfish and bream off the dock while my son and I loaded the boat with nice bass. We will definitely be back.

A convenient and pleasant retreat

The overall decor has friendly and consistent theme that adds to the relaxed, homey environment. The extras (kayaks, kitchen items, bbq grill, etc.) are all well-maintained and added to the feeling of being at home. We will definitely come back to stay again!

Truly Amazing!

We truly enjoyed our stay. We were not ready to leave. The cabin was so clean and relaxing. Our children really enjoyed fishing off the pier. They were catching catfish garfish all day. We really loved the screened in back porch. We did bring our pontoon and really got to enjoy the lake. We went swimming and tubing. This cabin was truly amazing and we would love to bring our family back. Our older son has special needs and has a hard time sleeping in new places but not at this amazing cabin he slept like a baby.

Family vacation

This cabin was absolutely amazing. We spent Monday-Friday and had the best time. We really enjoyed the lake view. The owner was so kind and helpful and very quick to respond to any questions we had.. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend staying here.

4th of July Get Away

The cabin is very cute, but it is small. The cabin was very well stocked with everything we needed. The screened back porch was great that’s where we spent a lot of time great view of the lake. Loved being able to walk down to the dock, the grandkids swam right out from the dock. The fishing was good, big catfish. The loft room difficult to access. The bathroom and shower very small. Ms Sandra very helpful fast to respond to questions. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice place

This is a very nice place. Everything the description says is true. Decorate very cute. The sheets and towels are top of the line. Plenty of kitchen dishes. A lot of extras. The owner has a little of everything for your use if you forget something. The grill is very nice. The pier and kayaks are very good. I can't say enough about this place. It is awesome.

Slice of Heaven

My family of 4 (2 adults, 1 teen, and 1 toddler) visited for my husband's birthday in June 2020. Everything was very clean and just as described, if not better! My teen loved the loft, she had so much space up there. All of the beds and linens are so comfortable. We had a blast swimming and fishing around the pier and kayaked all around the clean lake. We caught a few catfish, perch, and bass right around the pier using yo yos with minnows. Absolutely gorgeous sunrises and sunsets and views from the house, porch, deck, and pier. The screened in porch is EVERYTHING and that fan is magical. So many vibrant house plants make it feel like home, along with lots of labeled "extras" in the laundry room. The first night, I couldn't find a light switch and the owners answered the phone right away and troubleshooted the issue with me - they were on call but gave privacy. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the cabin, view, and water all are. Oh, and bring a copy of "Where The Crawdads Sing" and it feels like you're IN the book. Thank y'all so much for sharing with us!
