Near Walnut Park and hiking trails. The great room is an excellent vantage point with its high ceiings and many windows. Fast Wifi and smart TV. Efficient heat and A/C. Well stocked kitchen has everything a cook needs. Comfortable King and Queen Beds. Master Bedroom has its own bath with shower. Hardwood floors downstairs. Roomy garage with remote control opener. Backyard patio with gas grill great for barbequeing and relaxing.

Very nice home in quiet neighborhood

We felt at home during our 3 week stay. The home is a bit outdated, but we had everything we needed. If you are staying in the summer, you might get warm in the bedrooms as there is no AC upstairs (but that is how most older homes are in Corvallis). The neighborhood is nice and we felt very safe and comfortable. Great communication with the owners. We would stay here again.

Great Location in Corvallis

We had a wonderful two-week stay at Paulette’s Hillside Home. The house was perfect for our visit. I have rented many times in Corvallis, and this was the first house that I didn’t have to go out and stock up on paper products, soaps, and spices. We were so comfortable, and we were able to spend many hours each day visiting with family. The gardens at the back of the house were so peaceful and were a great place to read a book or share a conversation. Paulette was very helpful and responded to all my questions very quickly. We hope to spend time at the lovely Hillside Home in the future.

I find that being a VRBO host is a great experience to have in retirement. Lots of interesting people to meet and the satisfaction of creating beautiful and comfortable spaces for them on their travels. Corvallis, Oregon is a lovely town and attracts people for family and business reasons.

Why they chose this property

This is where I land for a a couple of months of the year., spending time with family. The rest of the time I make the house available for guests for stays of a few weks to a few months.

What makes this property unique

This house sits high off the street, giving you views of the birds and the trees.. It has a wonderful ambiiance that is illuminated by well-placed windows. The backyard offers a relaxing garden-type space.
