Lovely property and wonderful host!
Firstly Constance is a great host, everything from tips before our visit to her hospitality on site and helping us during our stay. I highly recommend her personally.
The property is wonderful. It is a very beautiful home, which has been renovated and kept to a high standard. The large garden and pool area was were we spent most of our time, and most nights we used the open grill by the pool and the pool seating area for dinner. All the outdoor furniture seems new and was very comfortable for spending days and evenings there. The is also a refrigerator by the pool which means that we didn't have to run back up to the house to get drinks.
We were a large party of 6 adults and 6 children but the house never felt cramped. the only downside to this however was that the house did get very warm. Constance however provided us with fans directly to solve the issue. It should be noted that when we followed her instructions and opened up all the doors in the house it did get cooler, but depending on who you stay with they may or may not want to have closed doors.
There is a live-in groundskeeper who takes care of the pool/garden etc. and we did not find him intrusive at all. We were told he could get us more wood for the barbecue however we just used coal instead. The garden and pool are kept to a very high standard.
Other points to note, the kitchen opens out into the garden and there are three tables under a mulberry tree where we enjoyed breakfast and a few meals. The area around the house is perfect for boule however kids with wet feet bring the sand into the house and pool so we used flip flops when going from the house to the pool and vice versa. There is a tap where you can wash your feet before getting in the pool. The property is on the Etang, and you have direct access to the water from a gate. We did not go swimming there and preferred the beach clubs on the ocean side of Séte instead. The gate to get into the property is located on a fairly busy road crossing, which can be a bit tricky to get in and out of especially with a large car.
All in all I highly recommend this property and the host. Séte is a lovely place for a family holiday.
