It's an awsome authentic rustic log cabin. #1 of the cons was the queen size was stuffed into a little room with 6 inches maybe on each side maneuver around the bed. The bed was very comfortable. #2 and not the property's fault. We over looked there is no A/C. We were up there during 85°F day and 70°F night. The fans just moved hot air around. #3 little bathroom and little shower stall with low water pressure #4 the placement of the dumpster was a bit aromatic at times. #5 I understand saving the shoreline and the large rocks are needed. Done complaining! PROS. The place needs some attention but it was really nice. The logs, the ceiling beams, the paint job, the log windows, the log cabinetry, the exposed tube and knob wiring all adds to the ambience. Roku on the TV was nice and they pulled no punches informing guests from the start the internet is sketchy. For us all the appliances worked. Water was hot and controllable. The deck above the lake to watch a sunrise, to look over the lake, to listen to the lake and the wildlife. To have an adult beverage and a deep conversation or sit quietly. We used it as home base for running around sight seeing. We did have a great stay.
