Short stay

Overall the property was comfortable and convient to shopping and restaurants. Enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and early morning view of the harbor. Just a few things that need to be addressed. The bolt on the front needs to be fixed and bedroom mattresses could use updating.

Beautiful property & premier location

Stayed for five days at the property. Absolutely great accommodations and location. This unit was ADA and dog friendly, not something we needed, but good for others to know.

NYE - good times!

Great short getaway in sister Bay. Prime location. Condo is spacious, clean and beds/pillows were super comfortable. Minimal noise from the road and/or other residents. Would stay again!

Perfect for our family!

We loved our stay. The condo was clean, rooms were very large, and the location was great! We enjoyed being able to walk to the Sister Bay shops/restaurants and also being a short drive to the state parks and other fun little cities. We were sorry to leave and hope to repeat our stay here in the future!

Beautiful

The accommodations at Sister Bay were excellent. Plenty of room to move around. Great scenery out the back of the condo. Easy access to restaurants and shopping. Will definitely stay there again.

Great condo in a great location

The condo was spacious and comfortable, just a short walk from great restaurants, the village beach, and a lakefront park. We spent several days exploring the area to the north - Washington Island, Newport Beach Dark Sky Park, cherry orchards, and more great restaurants.

Perfect Condo

This condo is right where you want to be. Across from the marina with great sunsets. The walk to all the fun is only blocks. It’s our 2nd stay there and we will be back.

Great location

Nice property as described. It is right next to the main highway through town so you can hear road noise in the primary bedroom and living room. Bring a sound machine to help with that.

Windy days on Sister Bay

Great location, amenities, and space to enjoy the views of Sister Bay. Although it was windy and a little wet during our visit, this unit has a centralized location to adventure out or cozy up in front of the fireplace. Also, don't be fooled, the Kurig is built into the fridge. Thanks for the hospitality Michael.

November getaway

Stayed a few days in early November with the family and condo was very nice all around. No complaints except the neighbors partied until 3am two nights in a row. Other than that it was a relaxing vacation!

Fantastic location

Wonderful location with lake and forest views on horizon. Great instructions. Not overly stocked vs other rentals,but don't necessarily need 5 baking sheets. Few items were dusty snd coffee maker didn't work well. However, beautiful place and would stay again.

Prime location-Sister Bay, WI

Very nice condo, well appointed and pleasing to the eye. Small attention to detail stuff that resulted in 4 star rating vice 5: Some remotes needed batteries, could not connect to cable TV-just internet tv available with my account number, dishwasher odor-needed cleaning which we accomplished. Owner was very accommodating to our requests....thanks Michael

Handicap shortfalls

Good location Nice wide open floor plan Master bed was too high for my disabled husband so we slept in another bedroom which was further away from the very nice master bathroom. Not a single chair with arms - interesting for an ADA compliant apartment. Shower curtains in both bathrooms were stained and need to be replaced. Ice maker on refrigerator broken

Amazing!

After staying here , we won’t go anywhere else again. It is an absolutely beautiful condo and wonderfully appointed. We appreciate fine things and when we travel, we bring our 5lb Yorkshire terrier with us. It is extremely rare to find accommodations this lovely that allow small dogs. Thank you Marina View for accommodating our needs perfectly - we absolutely loved your place , we will be back! Our four day stay was memorable and we were able to easily jaunt all throughout Door County from this location, taking in some amazing dining experiences, wine tastings, awesome shopping, and best of all, meeting and visiting with really fine people along the way. Walking the harbor, across the street, at sunrise and sunset was equally unforgettable - the painted sky was exquisite! Many thanks again for sharing your beautifully appointed condo- and for allowing us to bring our fur baby- we had the best time and a much needed mini vacation. See you soon!

Handicap Unit Accident in Bathroom due to Loose Toilet Seat

TO THE OWNER OF UNIT 102: Following is the text included in a note I left in Unit 102 when I checked out on Monday, June 13: "I am the disabled woman who rented Unit 102. On June 10th while carefully transferring from my mobility scooter to the toilet in the wheelchair-accessible bathroom, the toilet seat suddenly slid sideways and broke off of its hinges which caused me to lose my balance and fall. I fell down between the toilet and my scooter and suffered a several and large painful bruise to my right arm. I left several phone messages and texts with the contact number included on the information sheet previously emailed to me, but no one responded. In fact, there was no communication response from management for the entire five days I stayed here. No maintenance person was available to remedy the broken toilet seat, and I had to deal with it." I am including photos of the injury to my right arm. At this point, I am writing to confirm that you have been made aware of the accident in Unit 102, and I am awaiting your response. Wanted a relaxing trip with family

I rented the condo this past week. Let me first say the the condo was beautiful and in a great location. Having said that we experienced inconveniences nearly everyday while there. Let me start by saying that Michael was NOT proactive regarding check. I had to reach out to him & in the process I received 3 different codes for 3 different units along with email that wasn't intended for me (I must say at that point I was concerned) If I was not an honest person I could have walked thru all those units! Upon checking in the unit was a mess, cleaning crew did not show up and we could not check in until 7:20pm. Michael’s response when I said we were losing a day was “You are losing only a few hours” which is true check in was at 4. But we had reservations for dinner and tickets to Peninsula Players that night. We could not shower or unload our car so we missed all of our plans for that night. He showed no remorse or seemed to care. The next day we had no towels and had to use our beach towels to shower in the morning. Monday was great. Tuesday a contractor came in to finish something under to sink. Wednesday a couple came through for a walk thru to see unit “staged”. Thursday was again great. Friday morning I was asked to let the owner to get into unit for a 15-20 min. To find out it was the bank for pictures bcuz the unit was sold. The bank appraiser said she would have easily came out Saturday morning when we had already checked out but no I was once again inconvenienced. In conclusion, as I understand per Michael “With a brand new building like this there’s a lot going on’. But I also understand that I paid for the week for with a premium price as a vacation to relax and be with my family. If the unit was not ready to rent maybe it should not have been rented in the first place. I also don’t think that Michael is equipped for his position as he was completely unprofessional. From the beginning sending me wrong codes, emails that were not meant for me and to his lack of compassion for all of the events that went on for the week. His constant response to us was that “its unfortunate but its a new building with a lot going on” The unit was beautiful and location just great I only with we could have enjoyed to ourselves. Rent at your own risk.
