Charming three room casita in the heart of Los Ranchos de ABQ - Pets Welcome

Plenty of parking for large vehicles and trailers on the property. This 3 room suite is situated on an acre lot with plenty of space to relax. Garden view out of the front bay window in the eating area. Separate room with a sofa and TV, the third room is the bedroom with wardrobe. The kitchenette has a coffee maker, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, microwave, and induction cooktop.

Balloon Fiesta, Oldtown, and plenty of Antique stores are very close by. Walking/Riding paths are a half-block away, with the Bosque a block away. We even have bikes for your use should you want to ride to the Bosque or the brewery that is close by.

Great especially if you are traveling with a dog.

Hosts provided food and water bowls for our dog and had a fenced yard where she could play. We so appreciate that our dog was not just tolerated but welcomed.

lovely little place with a great back patio and hot tub

The apartment is comfy and clean and the back patio with a hot tub and lights was perfect, and where we spent most of our evening. A great spot for a staycation getaway in Albuquerque!

My husband and I have had the fortune of making the casita a yearly tradition. We enjoy the house and everything it offers. Everything makes you feel like your home. Kevin and Wendy make everything so wonderful. Will continue to make this apart of our traditions. Couldn’t ask for anything else!

My fiancé and I spent two days there while traveling throughout NM and had a lovely time in this quiet, quaint, and private small apartment. We didn't interact with the hosts as the check-in process was incredibly smooth. Definitely recommend this place for a quiet getaway. Thank you!

This stay was amazing! The casita was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The property is huge with many places to relax, enjoy the outdoors, and let our pup run free safely.The hosts, well I’m lost for words. Best vrbo experience ever. Lovely place to stay!

Very comfortable space. Kevin and Wendy are very responsive and have thought of everything you might need. I brought my dog with me, she got to meet chickens for the first time, it was great fun to watch the ladies go about their day :) There is a large grassy backyard that you can use to let your dog run free, lots of fun. The ditch paths are quite nice and a great place to go for a walk, mostly shaded. We will definitely recommend this place and we would stay here again!

Great place to stay if you're traveling with dogs.

Just what we were hoping for! Large fenced in backyard for our 2 Australian Shepherds to run and play after a long day in the car. We so appreciated the added thoughtfulness of providing dog dishes and toys. Not to mention bedtime snacks. We also were treated to fresh laid eggs from the "spoiled ladies" chickens in the yard. I am so glad we gave Vrbo a try! Host Kevin & Wendy were gracious and welcoming. We'll be back.

A quiet retreat near the Rio Grande

I booked this little apartment for a short trip to reacquaint myself with Albuquerque. The area is mainly small farms and ranchitos, with lots of cottonwood trees shading roads and trails that run along the banks of the Rio Grande. The property itself includes a main house and this attached (but separate) apartment. Wendy provided clear instructions for getting in, and the apartment was clean and pleasantly furnished. I found half a dozen fresh eggs provided by the clutch of friendly hens who greeted me on my arrival (and every morning). The apartment was a great place to rest every evening after a long day exploring Albuquerque.

A Home-Friendly Place to Stay

One of the best VRBOs I’ve stayed at. Friendly, amendable, responsive, homey, and flexible. I was at “home away from home”. Left some items behind. Contacted me the next day, and they shipped within the week, at no charge. Plenty of extras: coffee, snacks, food, and accoutrements. Will stay here the next time in ABQ. Located within easy drive to every place I wanted to visit and tour. And, when I returned at the end of a long day, I returned to peace, quietness, and serenity. Plus, the chickens were welcoming and calming. I hope to stay longer on my next trip to ABQ! LMG Swain
