Ruhige Lage, nette Vermieter

Schöner Sommerausklang in urgemütlichem Häuschen

Good choice to stay with Sonia and Anna
We definitely enjoyed the week we spent in the small but cosy holiday accommodation in Nogarolo, Tarzo, and all the things we did there, such as the visits to mediaeval places like Asolo and Portobuffole, but also Treviso, Conegliano, Vittorio Veneto andthe nearby Lake Santa Crocce, surrounded by the spectacular mountains of the Bellunesian Dolomites. Those interested in architecture should not miss visiting the famous villas Barbaro and Emo planned by the famous Renaissance master architect Palladio, both of which are in easy reach. On the way there, it is a must to stop at one ofthe many wineries along the "Strada del Prosecco" around Valdobbiadene and taste the delicious and wonderfully light D.O.C.G. beverage, e.g. at Angelo Bortolin's in Guia di Valdobbiadene. Directly in Nogarola, we can only recommend anyone who wants to eat something else than pizza to try both Locanda Cordirosso and particularly Ca' Piadera (agriturismo), which overlooks the picturesque vineyards of the area, for their excellent home-made meals, service and atmosphere. Santa Maria, a small lake in the neighbouring village of the same name, is a nice and quiet place to go swimming and sunbathing. All the people we encountered during our holiday in this place were very friendly and helpful despite the language barriers which sometimes occured. 😉 Thanks a lot, Sonia and Anna, for your kindness and any effort to make us feel like home! We felt looked after absolutely well and would come back any time. Matthias and Christiane, Chemnitz, Germany

Awesome and convenient location. The place to be.
I have been to Ca' di Minù at the beginning of summer 2015 for an holiday with my girlfriend. We have been in Italy before for the usual tourist trip (Rome, Florence, Naples...) but this was the first one where we decided to drift from the main cities and explore less worldwide known locations. We book at Ca' di Minù and when we arrived there we where amazed by the quite and calm that was there, even though we drove for less than one hour from Venice airport. The house is set on smooth and green hills. It has such a classy ancient style and is tastefully decorated with nice rural elements. You can really breath the spirit and the root of that land. Despite of that it is fully equipped with modern amenities such with wi-fi and airco. The only downside is the internal parking space: if you get there with a big car it might be hard to park. However there is plenty of room along the road, which is safe and not congested at all. There is also a very cozy garden well furnished and it was a pleasure spending the last bit of the evenings there before going to bed. About the logistic we realized on the very first day that we made an excellent choice. Ca' di Minu' makes you feel somehow far away from the world since the the peace and the calm vibes of the prosecco hills, but it is actually close to the fantastic Dolomite mountains, there is a very nice lake nearby and towns as Vittorio Veneto which is absolutely wonderful with its rock and the ancient medieval palaces. At some point we didn't resist to visit Venice once more but we where puzzled about driving until there. So Sonia and Anna explained us that there is a train station is literally at the bottom of the hill where Ca' di Minù is located. So we got our ticket and we reached the beloved Venice quickly and without the stress of driving to a popular and touristic place. Now the best part... we obviously didn't know where to go for proper eating in a land with so much variety and choices. Sonia and Anna understood our situation, our tastes and gave us plenty of tips about restaurants, bars and "gelaterias" (we totally love gelato). I don't have memories about eating so well, so healthy (and paid so little) during all the trips I took so far. I can say that if we eat well we probably drink better. Apparently wine is a sort of religion in those areas. I can totally recommend Ca' di Minù. A cozy and convenient place to rest during your exploring holidays.

About the host

Host profile image
Hi, I'm Sonia
I live in the Province of Treviso, in the hills of Trevigiana, where Prosecco doc is grown. I'm in love with this area and I want to share her beauty with all those who love to know typical places outside the confusion of mass tourism.

Why they chose this property

We love nature, art, history, good food and good wine and we can not imagine living in a place where art cities, restaurants, mountains, lakes and the sea are not far away ... Cà of Minù
offers all this.

What makes this property unique

The Marca Trevigiana is famous for its history, partly linked to the Great War, for its gastronomic tradition, for its hospitality and for good Prosecco wine. It is rich in artistic, cultural and sporting events. It is the ideal starting point to visit the most beautiful places in Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia: Treviso, Venice, Verona, Padua, Asolo, Vittorio Veneto, Pordenone, Trieste, Dolomites, Jesolo ...
