What an amazing property! I enjoyed the peace and quiet of nature and got to truly relax for a few days. The cabin was perfect. It was clean and had everything i needed. The bed was so comfortable! The host was responsive to messages. I would love to visit again!
A beautiful location and awesome cabin. Perfect weekend getaway immersed in nature. Loved the property, the access to trails, and how secluded the cabin is. The view from the deck was breathtaking.
Property was well kept and had everything we needed. Marilyn was very accommodating and made our stay pleasant. The view at sunset was stunning and the stars at night were amazing as well. We will definitely be returning!
We had a wonderful time at this charming cabin nestled in the woods on the side of a mountain, again. Marilyn is the best host - quickly responsive, welcoming, thoughtful and helpful. The cabin is cozy and well appointed and has a lovely deck that lets you sit and enjoy a great view from up high amongst the boughs of the hemlocks, situated perfectly for the beautiful sunsets. Stores are within a 10-15 minute drive so we really had everything we needed along with the most restful stay. We'll be back again soon!
Had a great stay here
Cabin was what we needed
It was clean, great grill to cook with
Had AC we did not need after day two
Such a peaceful place setting on the deck
Lisa's location is wonderful! Serenity is the perfect name for this place. The only sounds for the most part are the birds and the breeze. The cabin is small but it had everything we needed. The deck is the perfect place for a morning cup of coffee or an afternoon book. We took full advantage of the trails and the fact that we were the only ones there and hiked all over the property. We liked it so much that we are now looking for a house in the area. The fact that Lisa has spent the past 30 years maintaining, preserving and developing this 138 acre paradise is very impressive, and makes the place even more special. I highly recommend this spot to all nature lovers!!

Very quiet place to stay!
Will say it rained every day we we were there
Unfortunately we did not get to see what we wanted
But we got away
Lisa was very helpful( two times that she had to let us in the cabin)
Sorry Lisa!
The place is awesome! The sunset through the windows, the cozy atmosphere of the cottage, the cute little bathroom, the hammocks, the trails - altogether a great place to go. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!
It was located in the perfect location. Private and relaxing with Mother Nature sounds and views that were breathtaking. It was close enough for a drive into the little town to get groceries and enjoy an ice cream. The beds were comfy and the shower water pressure was great. Cabin lay out was very roomy, fresh and clean. The fire pit was nice to sit around on the cool nights. Sad that we didn’t book for a longer stay but maybe one day we can book again if ever out traveling that way. Thank you Marilyn for being a fabulous host and sharing your serenity space with us.
My daughter, doggo and I loved our weekend at this cabin. Just a small intimate cabin, with lots of privacy. Quiet, relaxing. Everything was great, clean, comfortable furniture, great shower! I will stay here again and again!
What a lovely place to stay and enjoy nature at it’s best! We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay any more! So quiet and peaceful! Wonderful to walk out your door and enjoy nature. Beautiful view from deck as well.
We had a great time on our trip. The cabin was very cute and very private! Our dogs absolutely loved exploring the trails with us. We will definitely be returning.
Communing with nature in this perfect setting was just what I needed. This was a Wonderful getaway to rest & reset after losing my mom. Host was kind, prompt & extended extra hospitality. This cabin is clean, secluded, & surrounded by beautiful woods with walking trails that led to another incredible property with marvels of its own. Back deck provided gorgeous views & was perfect for morning coffee, yoga, evening sunsets or just listening to the crickets, frogs & birds. Will def be back!
My husband and I and our dog had a wonderful stay at this property. We would’ve been happy spending the entire time on the deck but we did take many hikes in the woods. Because it was mid week we were lucky enough to have the trails to ourselves and never saw any other people. We used the fire pit both nights and even when we were inside the many large windows made it feel like we were still out in nature. We hope to come back again in the future!
