Since this cabin is only 1.3 miles from Downtown Gatlinburg, you can explore excellent attractions like Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, The Village Shops, and Anakeesta Gatlinburg. If you plan on exploring the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, this rental is also convenient for reaching several entrances to the national park including the Sugarlands entrance, the Cherokee Orchard entrance, and the Greenbrier entrance.

After a great day exploring the mountains, you'll love returning to this luxury cabin with an impressive mountain view. For some quality time with the people who matter most, gather around the warmth of the fireplace in the living area to relax you can always take a dip in the cabin's private Hot Tub has stunning miuntain views.

"Charming Charlies Cabin I" also comes complete with useful features like a fully equipped kitchen, WiFi Internet, private outdoor Hot Tub, Wood burning fireplace and a cozy living area with television. Extra sleeper sofa and a washer & dryer., Outdoor fire pit, Outdoor charcoal grill and soak in the view. There is a gazebo in the yard with more beautiful scenery. (All local grocery stores provide firewood bundles for $5).

Once you’re ready to get some rest before your next day of adventure in the Smokies. “Charming Charlies Cabin I” features 2 comfortable bedrooms. The main level provide queen-size bed and television, the second level provide a master suite includes a king-size bed, in-room Jacuzzi tub, full bath, and television. Both of this cabin's modern-styled bathrooms come complete with custom-styled showers. With a sleeper sofa in the loft, Charming Charlies Cabin I can sleep up to 6 guests in comfort (including children), so it’s just the right size for a family getaway or a weekend in Gatlinburg with friends.

Other things to note

We always suggest travel insurance as we do not refund due to road conditions, storms, medical conditions including COVID or inclement weather conditions.

Third party amenities, such as electricity, gas, and internet are beyond our control. In the event of service interruption beyond our control, you agree that you are not entitled to, nor will you seek compensation of any kind, including partial or complete refunds for any such interruption.

While we try to go above and beyond to accommodate our guests, we cannot offer early check-ins or late departures. This is to allow our cleaning crew ample time to make sure your cabin is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before and after your stay.
Note: 100% of the cleaning fee goes to a local single mother that does a great job.

Cleaning Company provide ONLY A starter pack includes: coffee packets (2), laundry detergent (1), dishwashing powder (1), dishwashing liquid (3oz), kitchen sponge (1), kitchen towels (1), paper towels (1), (2) toilet paper per bath, body soap, shampoo, and (2) garbage bags for each garbage can.

We have in effect very STRICT HOUSE RULES due to unfortunate guest behaviors. Please follow the house rules including the following:

Extra persons exceeding your booking are not allowed to stay in the property. We have cameras outside the property checking number of guests and security at night checking the premises for no extra guests. Exceeding the maximum number of occupants is considered a breach of contract and you will be asked to leave the premises without refund.

Max Occupancy 6. Exceeding max number of occupants is considered a breach of conflict and you will be asked to leave the premises without refund.

Events allowed: birthday parties, family gatherings, weddings Max Attendees 6.

No pets allowed. Bringing pet(s) is in breach of contract and you will be required to leave the premises immediately without refund.

Can’t wait to go back

This cabin was great! Our families enjoyed this cabin and even got to see a momma bear and her cub a couple different days. We also got to see a bobcat on the property. The views were wonderful and the cabin is very up-to-date. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. I would caution that if you have back problems, the master mattress is much too soft and non supportive. I would also recommend bringing your own pillows as all the pillows are much too soft and thin. The shower in the master seems to have an issue as we were never able to get the water to heat up. The shower downstairs is the one we had to use but that one isn’t designed properly. In order to turn the shower on, you get blasted with cold water due to the location of the knobs and shower head. You have to step in to turn it on. ….. The drive to the cabin was difficult and gave me anxiety. For the amount we paid per night, I regret not staying in the Appalachian Lodge that’s located at the bottom of road that leads up to the cabin.

Potential

Property is clean and basic with a very nice view. It’s more for the elderly due to no frills amenities and environment. The main room has bright overhead lighting with no dimmer switch and it’s like being in a public place. There are no lamps or softer lighting in the main family room. There are no games or game room or gas grill to cook on. There is an outdoor uncovered cooking stone built grill area. But if it rains and you didn’t bring charcoal or wood with you you’re out of luck! Bring coffee filters not the cone type.(we left our pack behind for next couple of guests) The TVs work now when cable is working. The hot tub wasn’t working correctly when arrived but maintenance came out fairly promptly to help out. So the tub works better now. We got it to hold temperature and got most jets opened due to someone closing them all previously. It is an older tub so temper expectations. What’s great about the cabin is the kitchen is nicely stocked with everything you could need to cook or eat. The bathrooms are clean modern and spacious. The bedrooms are spacious as well. Mattresses are good. So most cabins come with more amenities for the price. But if you just need the basics you won’t be disappointed.

The property was very nice. It had spectacular views. We even seen a bear out by the shed. The only issue was the hot tub wasn't full and heating properly. Other than that it was perfect for us

We love this place - just 1 very small issue

This was our 2nd year staying in this lovely cabin. It was perfectly clean, the location is ideal and we felt very comfortable staying here. There was only 1 very small issue, and that is the television in the upstairs bedroom. We followed the instructions left on the dresser, and still could not get it to work. We had a similar issue last year. Aside from this minor inconvenience, we absolutely love this house and hope to stay there for many more Thanksgivings.

Beautiful view

The view was awesome and the place was nice. The only complaint we have is that it needs some TLC. The shower has mold growing in it and the overall cleanliness was not good. We also noticed that neither of the tv’s in the bedrooms worked.

Great getaway

Cute & secluded cabin with beautiful views! Cabin was clean & comfortable. Check in was easy as getting a text. Secluded but only a few minutes to town. There’s only 1 house above this cabin so very minimal traffic, which was just what we were looking for! We will definitely rebook when we decide to make another mountain trip!

There were ants in the kitchen anytime we left food out, cob webs everywhere, and most of the hot tub jets didn’t work. There was also a wasp nest in the lookout. However, the view was beautiful and the wildlife was great.

Only thing we liked was the view. We had ants all over the kitchen! The cabin was not as clean as one would expect. We have stayed at many VRBO cabins and they were always spotless. There was only one blanket that looked like it was never washed. The deck was horrible! It was filthy with cigarette burns all over the furniture….. I extremely disappointed especially because this was our 40th wedding anniversary.

A beautiful mountain getaway

We (my wife and our 5-year-old son) had a wonderful six-night stay. The cabin was clean and comfortable, with stunning panoramic views of the mountains. The road up to the cabin is extremely steep but I got the hang of it after a couple trips up and down. The parking area is flat, which helped my peace of mind. The kitchen was well-equipped for the handful of meals I prepared there and all appliances worked well. All in all, it was exactly as advertised and we would definitely stay here again in the future.

Wonderful week in the mountains

The cabin was a wonderful home away from home for our week exploring Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains. It has everything we needed, however some utensils in the kitchen were hard to find (hidden drawers within drawers) and some basics (toilet paper, garbage bags, dishwasher detergent) were under supplied. Communication with the manager was great once we got connected with her the day of arrival, although in the weeks leading up to our start date we sent a couple messages that never were answered. Small issues- overall I highly recommend.

House review

Area was great. House had a couple of issues. Hot water was not enough, ran out of hand soap, hot tub never got under 109 degrees, master bed was dusty, tv in master did not work. Other than that a great house and perfect area for downtown Gatlinburg. Thank you.

Excellent Cabin

We had an amazing time. The cabin has breathtaking views. We enjoyed our stay. There was 5 of us. Using the kitchen and sharing the livingroom and it was very spacious and never crowded. We had bears on different night's..... unbearievable experience. We also had lots of birds visit including cardinals. After booking and before staying i seen some reviews: no silverware, there is a full hidden drawer next to the fridge, it would be labeled better. I seen complaints about poor communication but we got a prompt response when we reached out for the door code. There is a tree that could be trimmed but it doesnt impact the view as much as mentioned. We all enjoyed the jacuzzi without an issue and the TV upstairs worked without a problem. The things I would ad would be that we were left one trash bag or the kitchen, one roll of paper towels and 4 rolls of TP. We were in and out and had to go to the grocery to stock the fridge so it wasnt an issue for us. Thanks for allowing us to enjoy the Charming Charlies Cabin.

Amazing views spectacular wildlife!

We stayed 5 days over the 4th of July holiday, the cabin has amazing views that made us flatlander’s from Michigan spend countless hours on the back deck. Each day during the morning hours of 9-11am or evening hours 6-9 we seen at least one bear, and even a rarely seen bobcat. We have videos and memories we will talk about for years! Thank you to the owners for sharing such an amazing place!

Great experience!

Had an amazing weekend with my husband for our 1 yr weddding anniversary. The cabin is secluded for privacy and still close to town. Many necessities in the kitchen made it helpful to make food and we both really another the back porch with rocking chairs and hot tub. Highly recommend this stay for all!

Great view

Overall this place is pretty nice. Super secluded, the view is SPECTACULAR! Only thing I didn’t like is that the remote/tv doesn’t work upstairs and from the looks of the reviews it’s been broken for months and still hasn’t been fixed which is a bummer. Also wouldn’t recommend using the jet tub upstairs either. Other than that it’s nice.

Escape to the mountains

It was a great stay. We had a wonderful time!! 10 out of 10 would recommend. The scenery was amazing. Glad we talked to a police officer who told us to drive our truck in manual it was steep driving through the mountains this help save our breaks.

Deceiving descriptions

The place is fine. But there is NO working Tv or cable in the master bedroom upstairs! I just recently see others have complained on past reviews which you would think they would fix it!!! They advertise you have it but you can’t use it!!! Do not even try to use the jet tub in upstairs bathroom. Nasty black stuff will fly out of it when you turn on the jets!!! So that’s also messed up!!! The futon couch half the springs were broke at bottom so the mattress falls through so don’t plan on using that either!!!! The pans are all metal so they weren’t very good to try to cook with. Hot tub is small and old and only halfway works. The view was nice. Pretty expensive stay for things to not be working though.
