Perfect location for La Rochelle

We enjoyed our stay very much. Have driven around France it was nice to be able stay in one place which offered secure, private off-road parking and then be able to walk into the town/harbour, which was literally just a couple of minutes away. Michelle, the host, was very pleasant and available if needed (which wasn't necessary). There is only one bedroom, although two single/one double bed can be made up in the lounge if needed. Overall this apartment, although a little 'tired' and shabby looking in the entrance hallway, offers a clean and period looking accommodation, with comfortable beds & linen and everything in the kitchen that anyone could want ! I would sum up by saying if visiting La Rochelle again, I would be perfectly happy to stay here again.

Super nice Appartement at top location

We had a perfect stay for 10 days in La Rochelle at this beautiful apartment. It is even better in reality than we expected it to be. The apartment is brighter than we had the impression from the pictures, and has a very charming atmosphere. We literally felt at home. Also the owner Michèle is a super friendly and helpful host. Vacances de rêve

La location est tout simplement parfaite ! Tout est beau et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. L'emplacement est idéal, en plein centre, mais sans aucune nuisance sonore.... Une véritable bulle, un cocon dans lequel on se ressource.... Les hôtes sont très agréables. Je recommande ce petit paradis sans hésitation !

Appartement très agréable, emplacement idéal.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans cet appartement magnifique. L’accueil a été parfait avec de gentilles attentions. La situation géographique est idéale, avec le centre-ville et le vieux port, ainsi qu’un parc animalier et la plage à quelques pas. L’appartement, quant à lui, est très chaleureux et spacieux. Vous y trouvez une large bibliothèque avec de nombreux livres passionnants, de la musique et tout le confort nécessaire. On se sent plus à la maison que dans une location de vacances. Merci encore pour votre accueil.

Agréable séjour à la Rochelle

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Michèle, l'appartement est conforme aux photos et très bien situé, belle décoration, lieu magnifique et reposant. Accueil chaleureux et des petites attentions (pains, confiture etc...) très appréciables, nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Appartement cosy idéalement situé

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cet appartement spacieux, très bien décoré et doté d'une super bibliothèque et d'un bureau pour travailler si besoin. Le tout au calme dans un parc arboré et idéalement situé près du port. La propriétaire est très réactive et nous a remplacé en moins de temps qu'il ne faut pour le dire un grille pain qui avait un problème de fonctionnement sans gravité. Je recommande vivement ce mieu mais pas trop qd même pour pouvoir y retourner une prochaine fois....Nicole novembre 2022

Perfect Home Away from Home

Michele's apartment was by far the best place we stayed during our month in France! It was spacious and located very close to parks, beaches, restaurants/bars. While the front of the building faces the street where, even on warm nights with the windows open, traffic noise didn't seem to be an issue for us (it was at most other places we stayed at in France). The back faces a very private and super quiet courtyard surrounded by trees and shrubs. Secured parking was a plus. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked for easy cooking; the sheets and towels were soft (no scratchy line dried stuff here!) and of higher quality than anyplace else we stayed; and the bed was super comfortable (dark and extra quiet with the shutters closed). We loved that the apartment is flooded with natural light during the day and well lit with lamps and fixtures at night. Communication, check-in and local recommendations with Michele was a breeze. We were huge fans of this apartment, if you can't tell. It was a perfect home away from home while we were in La Rochelle

Herrliche Unterkunft mitten in einer wunderschönen Stadt!

Un excellent séjour

Un appartement à la décoration particulièrement soignée, une grande bibliothèque, de beaux tableaux sur les murs, une cuisine très bien équipée avec de la vaisselle raffinée, sans oubliée une hôtesse charmante et disponible toutes les conditions étaient réunies pour que nous passions un excellent séjour. Merci pour ce bel accueil ,une parenthèse de douceur avant un nouveau confinement.

Prima uitvalsbasis voor bezoek La Rochelle en omgeving

Prachtig appartement op gunstige locatie aan de rand van het centrum. Restaurants, haven, strand en park allemaal op loopafstand, net als attracties zoals het aquarium en de botanische tuin. De eigen parkeerplaats in de binnentuin is zeer prettig, want parkeren in de stad is erg lastig. Onze dank aan de vriendelijke en hulpvaardige gastvrouw Michéle.

Parfait!!

Comme à la maison, cosy et harmonieux, l'appartement de Michèle est superbe. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour, l'accueil était parfait. La cuisine est très bien équipée! Notre hôte, Michèle, toujours disponible et bienveillante. Merci encore.
