The space was perfect for us and our dog. Plenty to do in the area and would stay here again.

First trip to Hilton head
We had a great time. A little bit of confusion on getting past the gate and into home but other then that it was a nice place to stay and a beautiful beach. Would definitely stay there again.
It was nice but needs some maintenance on place. Front door needs changed out won’t even close unless you lock it also lock on storm door doesn’t lock. Couch needs changed out put blanket on to relax on just looked dirty and broken down. Several other little updated and clean up of inside needs done. Overall was good
Everything was great, cute quiet little spot tucked into a small lagoon surrounded by trees. Close walk to the beach. Clean. Comfortable bed. My only issue is that my husband and I could not get the clothes washer to work.
Beautiful bungalow in the heart of Sea Pines. Wonderful for two people, little tight for four. Friendly owner, but not as clean as it could be (cobwebs on lights). Would still highly recommend!
Great stay , location - backyard forest - cool. Do need to address the sofa as the pullout when retracted doesn’t match the height of the lip of the sofa - emailed the owners while we were there so I’m sure it will be addressed- not that big a deal anyway - we’d go back for sure. Also appreciate the pet friendliness - thanks
Cozy and relaxing stay. Great location and easy 5 min walk to beach. Loved having a washer and dryer - made it easy to keep tidy. Full kitchen was very nice and had everything in it to make meals if you chose. Had beautiful gas grill on patio which I think was brand new. Deck outside overlooked small stream with wooded area. We saw deer, owls, turtles and lots of squirrels. Even though other units around you, the palm trees and vegetation, it was very private. Love Sea Pines area and this is great place to stay and be able to take all in.
This place was perfect for us since there was just 2 of us. Condo is was very clean (and I am picky) when we arrived. We had everything we needed in the nice kitchen area. Bed is comfortable and shower was very nice. Updates of large TV in bedroom and updated couch was very nice. Location is great - nice private quiet neighborhood. Close to a beautiful beach - a short walk across the street down the beach path. We walked and rode our bikes in the beach each day. Biked to Harbour Point and also Salty Dog. The Beach Club is very close. We would stay again.
It is as advertised. The only thing we were unhappy about was getting texted to be available for a repair and a delivery. It was our vacation time. I think that was finally resolved as other arrangements were made without us being there or someone going into our temporary residence. Peaceful, nice pool, easy walk beach on sidewalk and secure closed residence area.

19 Night Heron
Needs a lot of updating! No lock on sliding door, deck boards need replacing, main door ( door nob needs to be tightened), no clocks, had to pay extra $9.00 for a one day pass to check in. Will never stay here again!
This was our 3rd visit to HH. The property was as described, clean, pleasant and functional. The kitchen, despite being on a smaller side (though as expected), had absolutely everything to cook every single meal for 7 days. A/c worked well, remodeled and good size bathroom along with washer and dryer were also a great comfort. Even walking with the kid it only would only take 10 mins to get to the beach. The subdivision itself was pleasant and dog friendly as we had our family dog with us. Outdoor shower and a garden hose were great to rinse all the sand off for the whole family including the dog. Sea Pines area is absolutely gorgeous. Will stay again.

Seriously Overpriced
I really wanted to get away from the Midwest over winter, but this place was way too expensive for what you get. They wouldn't give me a monthly discount for 29 days when others would. The kitchen is small and barely adequate. A renter down the street in same size unit paid less than half what I unfortunately paid. I paid for 29 days as much or more from same people as I paid for 44 days less than 2 years before that. And then they wanted to inconvenience me so a potential buyer could come look at it. They previously cancelled and refunded the money for the place I wanted when they sold it. So I had less time to find an alternative place.
The house is located in a quiet heavily wooded neighborhood, that is an easy five minute walk down a path to the beach. We visited during the RBC golf tournament so the island was very busy; however you never would have known it in the neighborhood and at the beach. The house was a little tight for our family of four, but that was our own doing we kind of knew that going in. It would be perfect for a couple though. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom has a lovely shower in it. The kitchen was equipped with all the essentials, we ate in quite a few nights and didn’t have any problems finding what we needed. Just know that there are no standard food items provided i.e. sugar, salt, pepper, etc… You need to bring or purchase any and all food items ( I’m sure this is to their streamline cleaning process and for pest prevention.) We rented bikes from the Bike Doctor per the owner’s recommendation and they were great, they deliver and pick up the bikes at the house so it couldn’t be easier. You can literally bike everywhere even on the beach which our kids really enjoyed. The beach near the house is beautiful, perfect for walking, biking, swimming, playing football or frisbee, just about anything except shelling. We saw dolphins almost every day! as well! We also brought our dog, Hilton Head seems to be very dog friendly and we were able to bring him to most restaurants ( outdoor seating) the beach, and in a variety of shops. We visited in the spring so the summer beach regulations on dogs are not in effect and he was welcome anytime. Overall a great little place to stay.
We rented on this same street last year and it’s a great place to stay. But next year i will go back to the unit we stayed in the year prior. The beach is right across the street. Bike paths everywhere. The neighborhood is quiet. This property is roomy enough for a couple and with a full kitchen it makes cooking in easy. The main complaint about this property was the attention to some cleaning details. The refrigerator and kitchen area were very well cleaned. However the cleaning company may want to clean the light fixtures above the tv unit as there were cobwebs with alot of dust on the cobwebs and a noticeable layer of dust on the light fixture over the dining room table. The wall in the bathroom to the right of the toilet had noticeable dust from where the air unit must hit the wall. There was a large hairball on the floor in the bedroom when we arrived so it made me wonder was the floor cleaned or vacuumed?? For a few of the days we had problems with nats in the bathroom and kitchen area. The house smelled very clean when we got there but the attention to detail was missing. The rug in the family room was pretty stained. The property itself is in a great location and the size makes for a comfortable stay.
Second time around at Night Heron ,Hilton Head, in 3 years.
For us ,this is the perfect vacation if you have a dog.
The beach is so beautiful and accessible from the property.
Biking is just amazing. The property is perfect with a dishwasher and a washer/ dryer .
Will definitely come back.
Thanks to Margot and Jim.

My husband & I have stayed in the Night Heron neighborhood for several years. This was our first stay in a one-bedroom unit. We love this area of Sea Pines because the security gate-house access is the back entrance (and never crowded). It is so quiet being in a stand-alone bungalow with no noisy neighbors attached to you! It is an easy walk to the pristine beaches of Sea Pines and all of the amenities found in the community.
This unit was decorated nicely. We had morning coffee & evening cocktails from the private balcony overlooking a tidal creek (we saw Herons, deer, owls, etc...). Our top priority was the ability to bring our 🐕! Communication with the owner was effective, timely & every question was answered. We hope to be back again next fall. This is a perfect escape!
We are a couple in our 60’s with two little elderly dachshunds. This place was perfect - one-level living with three steps up to it.
Pros:
full-sized appliances, big king bed, laundry in bathroom, 1/3 mile to beach, near bike trail, quiet neighborhood (except when recess happens at school behind us!), responsive manager (we had a slow bathroom drain, he dropped off some Draino that worked), darkening curtains, front deck for sandy shoes/chairs, close parking, great pool around the corner. Big spacious back deck with a nice grill.
Cons: the A/C, while working well, is pretty loud in the bedroom; furniture could use a refresh or washable covers; kitchen chairs might not hold larger folks. I would replace rug with an indoor-outdoor rug or a Ruggable due to bb pets. A swiffer to keep floors tidy would have been nice for guests to keep floors tidy during the week.
Loved it! Five minutes from the beach. Comfortable and quiet. Very clean. If I get the chance to visit Hilton head again I will stay at night heron lane.
Property was small but had everything we needed. Property manager was quick to respond when contacted. A short walk to the pool and a short drive to Harbor Town and other areas within Sea Pines. We enjoyed our stay and will return to this area.
