The cottage offers 2 spacious double bedded rooms, each one with an ensuite shower room, a large living room and a brand new open plan style fully fitted kitchen. Rated two stars in 202.

Völlig unzureichend
Falsche Beschreibung: "liebevoll restauriert": billigster Trockenbau im gesamten Haus, im Souterrain schimmelige Wände, nicht funktionierende Toilette (den Vermietern bekannt) Einrichtung abgewohnt, "voll ausgestattete Küche ": drei winzige Töpfchen keine angemessene Pfanne, keine Rotwein- und Sektgläser

Domme intra muros

Lovely property in charming village
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Domme in this property. The house remained relatively cool during the hot days despite not having AC in the main living areas. The courtyard is lovely to sit in during the day and on an evening although it does not receive the sun all day. This wasn't an issue personally as I enjoy some shade. The village is well positioned to explore the Dordogne and the many other beautiful towns in the region. Domme itself was pretty quiet on an evening (possibly due to being late in the season) but does attract a number of visitors during the day to ride Le Petit Train and visit the Grotto which surpassed our expectations. Overall, a very enjoyable vacation.

Great location
A very quirky property Great location Added bonus of a parking place , although it has to be said the lady who met us , requested 100 euros as a deposit which came as a shock , no where did it mention this prior to booking !! The house was clean and tidy . It could do with a welcome pack to be honest . Instructions for cooker etc , where to put rubbish , emergency numbers . Just a few pictures on the walls and a nice old dresser instead of that grey monstrosity would make this place perfect .. The outside was acceptable tho could do with a little tlc . Couldn’t fault the location

Disappointing
Generally we enjoyed our stay, mainly because of the location. We were disappointed with the garden/yard, as it was overgrown and had that unkempt look, not very inviting! The lounge area could do with a little TLC, not exactly pleasing to the eye, especially the totally empty bookcase, needs a few books, nick nacks etc to make it a bit more homely. As the standard was lower than we expected from the listing, we felt it was over priced. So sorry to say, it didn't live up to our expectations!

Adorable little village house. Was a bit dark inside.
As usual VRBO did a good job of liking us with the owner and then the local house manager. Was a must that renter speak French which fortunately I do.
