About this property

3 Bedroom 1 bath house that could sleep up to 5 people. This ranch style house is located just outside the Belgrade Lakes Village so you can easily walk into town for amazing food and shopping. Just around the corner you will have access to Long Pond swimming and enjoying the views of the water and the mountains in the distance. There are kayaks for you to use, with life jackets. You can enjoy a fire in the backyard in the evening and cookout on the grill to enjoy your time away.
**This property is adjacent to our businesses (Mental health office and Wellness Center), which may be open during your stay. There are separate parking spaces for renters and office/center.**
* You should also know we live here when not being rented. We have a dog that lives with us. She is an Australian Shephard and Cattle Dog mix. Just in case you are have
allergies to dogs. *

Our Stay

The house was comfortable with everything you needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Property owners were very responsive and helpful. Cute center right down the road with pretty sights and little shops to walk around. Loved that they had kayaks for use also! We had a great time and would definitely choose them again.

Belgrade, great location.

The house was everything that we needed for a long weekend of fishing throughout the Belgrade area. If you are looking for the amenities of the Hilton Hotel or the Ritz Carlton, then go to the Hilton or the Ritz. This house is lived in throughout the week most of the time by the owners, so it doesn't have the look of a fancy hotel. But this place was perfect for what we needed. After a long day on the streams and ponds, the only thing we wanted was a shower, a place to rest, tell lies of how many fish we caught, share stories, and good bedding. It was fine. Nearby places to eat within walking distance made meals very easy all though you could prepare your own meals easily with everything that was available to use in the kitchen. Dealing with the owners for booking and questions was excellent. Belgrade is a great location with plenty of offerings within a short drive for shopping, restaurants, and outdoor activities. I will keep this place in my contacts for future trips.

We, Stephen and Karen Hardy, purchased this house after relocating from Western MA in 2015. We are both are self employed; Stephen runs the Wellness Center that's on site, offering Reiki sessions, readings and a metaphysical gift shop, and he owns a handyman business. Karen is also a mental health counselor that works out of her office on site. When we aren't doing work in these businesses, we kayak, hike, sit around the fire pit, visit with family and enjoy all the sites we can find in Maine.

Why they chose this property

Close to the beautiful Great Pond and Long Pond where you can swim, kayak or just soak in the sun and watch amazing sunsets.
You could also stay at the house, and enjoy a private backyard cookout and chat around the firepit.
Walk down to the Village Inn and have an amazing dinner on the lawn overlooking Great Pond. Or in walking distance the other direction is Sadies restaurant also overlooking Great Pond.
The ocean is an hour in one direction and hiking on the Appalachian Trail is just over an hour in the other direction. There are hiking trails a mile away that border Long Pond. The Belgrade Golf Course is walking distance also.

What makes this property unique

The house is close to the village of Belgrade Lakes, but not in the middle. There is a lovely bakery that is just across the street and a diner/ice cream shop just next door!
Renters will receive a discount Reiki or card readings if they wish. Please let us know in advance so we could schedule and prepare for you.
