Stanley House - Custom Log Home with Panoramic Sawtooth Mountain Views

This beautiful 4,000 SF custom-built log home is perched on the hillside overlooking Stanley with unobstructed panoramic Sawtooth Mountain views. The large picture windows allow you to enjoy the majesty of the mountains with a wrap-around deck providing plenty of outdoor furniture places to enjoy your meals after barbecuing on the propane barbecue, or lounge and take in the views. The hot tub on the front deck provides the perfect place to soak as you gaze at the stars.

This home has 4 bedrooms, a balcony sleeping area with privacy curtain, and 3 full baths. 1 king-sized bed is in the master bedroom on the main level, 1 queen-sized bed in a bedroom on the main level, 1 queen-sized bed in the bedroom downstairs, 4 twin-beds (2 bunks) in a bedroom downstairs, and a combination queen (below) twin (above) bunk bed in the balcony above the TV area. The beds sleep 12 guests.

This unique home is large and spacious while also being comfortable and inviting. The cozy TV room has a propane fireplace and the spacious living room has a full bar with seating, a pool table, comfortable couches, and a free-standing wood burning fireplace making it the perfect location for large group gatherings. The home is located just above Valley Creek on the hillside above Stanley making it both private and within walking distance to the locals stores and restaurants.

The kitchen is fully stocked with a range, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. The beds have beautiful linens with bath towels provided. There is a full-sized washer and dryer on the lower level. The deck area has a picnic table, two glass-top round table with chairs, 4 lounge chairs, and various other seating options. There is a propane gas barbecue for your use and a propane outdoor heater. The propane is provided. Their is a nice hot tub perched at the edge of the deck situated privately from the neighboring properties. The property has WiFi and Direct TV service. There is a maximum one dog limit allowed on the property.

This home is the perfect location to enjoy your vacation in Stanley making memories that will last a life time.

This home is available year-around. We begin taking minimum 5-night reservations for the following year's summer season on October 15th. We begin taking minimum 3-night reservations for the upcoming summer season on April 15th. We accept minimum 3-night reservations anytime between October 1st and May 1st.

The best weekend ever!

This was the most amazing trip my friends and I have ever taken. The views were stunning and the property was top notch, we never wanted to leave! Everything we needed was at the house when we arrived and any questions we had were responded to by the property manager immediately. If you have the opportunity to travel to this sweet little town you will not regret your stay here!!

The property was awesome, everything you need and the best views of the sawtooth mountains. You can walk to town, breakfast at the Stanley bakery in less than 20 minutes. Sit on the deck or in the hot tub and watch the shooting stars go by. 5 big stars for this one and we can’t wait to return.

Nice Place..

The property is very nice with plenty of beds for a big group. The main family room with a bar, pool table and large TV were great for the whole group. Would stay again!

Second Verse, Same as the First

We've stayed at the Stanley House twice now. Despite smokey skies this time was as enjoyable, perhaps more so due to the expansive great room and decks where everyone had room to read, play pool, prep food & cook, or take a nap. We'll be back.

Amazing!

The views from the deck and main room are spectacular. The bar and pool table are a great bonus. It was very nice to soak in the hot tub. We could stare at the herd of Elk all day. We will be back.

Fun mountain retreat

The Stanley House was everything we were hoping for in a winter retreat for our family. It was beautiful and clean with plenty of space. We all enjoyed the view of the Sawtooth mountains from the huge windows in the family room and the pool table as well. We will definitely consider coming here again for our next family get away.

Winter beauty

stanley is a great winter destination. Home is beautiful and clean. Kitchen has great cooking pans, which is a must with very little food options in town right now.. The beds are super comfy and cozy. A Hot tub is a winter must and it was great! For those not familiar with the area bring all your groceries. A real grocery store is over an hour away. Also fire wood is a must to keep the house warm in winter. Thank you for a great family christmas

Great group retreat house

Fantastic home for a large group - well stocked kitchen, excellent location, tons of activities/things to do, and an incredible porch with hot tub to watch the sunset over the Sawtooth Mountains. We will definitely be returning! Thank you so much.

Autumn in Stanley

We needed a house in Stanley that would accommodate our party of 6. Although the size was great, There are a few items that would improve the stay. 1. The lighting is terrible. At night you have to turn on every light in the house and it's still dark. Some lights were burned out and not replaced. 2. The front TV never worked, Although we told the management they did not come and fix it. 3. The beds were really heavy, and really high. The master is almost dangerous getting in and out. 4. The Dining Chairs were impossible to move back and forth, and actually one chair caught on the "too small area rug" and tipped the chair backwards. 5. My last and biggest complaint, is when you charge your guests a hefty cleaning charge it is not their responsibility to strip all the beds and wash multiple loads!!!! But you actually put that in the rules and contract you make guests sign.

Spacious comfortable and wonderful views

This is an excellent house with a wonderful view in walking distance of Stanley city center. Clean, well maintained, fully furnished and beautiful cabin type decor. Well worth the money for our 6 person and two dogs family reunion. We will certainly be back.

Surrounded by Beauty

You cannot go anywhere on the property or take a photo without the beautiful view of the Saw Tooth Mountains. We had an excellent experience with the property manager. She was extremely helpful at all hours of the day or night. It was just the perfect location and accommodations for our family. We were provided with amble instructions for use of the facility, too. A truly excellent experience. We hope to return in the future.

Beautiful home!

This property was clean, well maintained and in the most beautiful setting! The views of the mountains were amazing! A creek runs in front of the property, which is on a private road with no traffic. The beds were very comfortable and it was well stocked with everything we needed! Great for a large group or family. I will definitely be booking this one again!
