Upon arrival the house was very easy to check into, and clean and ready for us! We had 4 families stay here, 8 adults and 8 children, and the space was perfect for everyone. We had a couple questions and the host was very quick to respond and was very helpful! It’s about 30 minutes to Boyne Mountain, and the access to the Lakes of the North clubhouse was awesome as the kids had a blast swimming! Will rent here again!
The house was as advertised and met all of our needs! The home was close to a private trail leading to the marked trail system. The host was very helpful with any issues that arose. Will definitely consider this listing for future trips!
Loved the property! We stayed with six adults and four kids and it was the perfect size for our group. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The Lakes of the North area offered an indoor pool perfect for the kids and there was also a lake with a small beach area. We also brought our UTV and had access to the trails basically at the end of the driveway - it was perfect and would definitely stay again!
A large but cozy cabin in the north Michigan woods! clean and affordable, near a beautiful lake . Our family had a great time… Hoping we can come back soon!
We had a wonderful weekend. We were impressed with the cleanliness of cabin & plenty of room ( & beds) for the whole family. The ATV trails are close by so we could ride for a while then go back to cottage and relax. We highly recommend & Hope to stay again next year.
The house was awesome and exactly as described. It also had a ton of room for parking. Our favorite part was that it was tucked away from others. Will definitely come back.
we had 9 people stay and there was ample room for everyone. we each had our own bed which was nice. the cabin is a little secluded which is what we liked but only 15 min. to Gaylord. will rebook for next year. this was our 3rd stay at this place.
This was a great place to stay if you're looking for privacy and seclusion. The cabin was very comfortable and inviting. We felt like we were alone in the woods, but we were within 20 minutes of dining, groceries, gas, etc. The cabin is located in the middle of all the places you would want to visit. We took day trips tp Boyne Mountain, Petoskey, Mackinaw City, and Cheboygan. we also were content with spending a few days just hanging around the cabin. We would definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed our stay here so much. We had 3 generations of our family from 4 to 68 and 2 choc. labs. Lots of room for the dogs to run and explore. The property is secluded and surrounded by nature. ATV trails right down the road. Our host was very accommodating and responded right away to our questions.
We stayed at Brian’s cabin for 2 separate weeks this summer. We had an absolute blast. We took advantage of the pool at the clubhouse, beach house, and lake Harold. The house has plenty of space for the 13 people plus our puppy. Everything was easy and readily accessible at the house. We cooked plenty of meals in the kitchen with no issues and enjoyed games and family time by the fire. We will definitely be returning here!
We went to Michigan to ride our OHVs. Had a great time. Were able to ride in and out of the house to some trails. House was clean. Host was awesome and very quick to respond. Minor issue with garage disposal, but host had someone to us in a few hours to fix. Overall great experience, would rent again if we were to come back to this area. Thanks Brian!!
The house, property, manager/owner, cost was all good, only problem is the steep driveway, we arrived before the plow guy was able to get rid of the slush & ice at the bottom of drive so most of us parked in the dead end street which turned out to be ok and no issues. plenty of room for sleds and close to back trails, this was a return trip for my family and we plan to be back every winter, thank you.
There were 3 couples and we all enjoyed our stay! Upstairs was a little warm, need fans, but the rest of the cabin was very cozy and comfortable. We ate at the little restaurant by the golf course and had terrific food and service. Took advantage of the indoor pool, water temp was perfect and hot tub amazing! Very quiet location and enjoyed walking the backroads.
Rented the place for a long weekend with bunch of guys for golf. The location was great and most amenities were provided. The only complaint we have is dog poop everywhere outside. A couple of the guys stepped on it..lol
Please pick up the poops!
Our extended family just left this jewel in the middle of Lakes of the North. We had lots of fires with plenty of privacy on a cul de sac so kids could ride bikes. The club house swimming was pricy for many trips but really clean and fun for all. Make sure and bring your own towels but lots of other amenities were included!
