Quiet oasis in Bordeaux suburbs

Spacious, well equipped, clean property with a private garden and very large undercover seating area. The position was perfect for exploring the region as both the train and tram lines in Pessac were only 10 minutes walk away. We had quite a few days where we left the car in the private drive. We had a very warm welcome from Michel with a detailed explanation on the property. He really wants the renters to enjoy their holiday

The Perfect Rental

Michel and Andrée are exceptional hosts: charming, friendly, caring, helpful and immediately responsive. The house is VERY spacious (even more than the pictures show), is impeccably clean and tastefully furnished. The entire place and in particular the kitchen, has everything you could hope to find in a rental. The house is situated in a quiet neighborhood yet right in Pessac. The front looks out over a vineyard, and the back over a delightful backyard with plantings and a large deck. It was the perfect decision for us to stay here because we had access to Bordeaux (tram was the best choice rather than taking a car into the city) as well as countless lovely towns to visit on day trips. Michel and Andrée deserve all the complimentary reviews they've received. They've worked to create a lovely rental and then are perfect hosts during the stay. We'd go back in a heartbeat!

Great hosts, peaceful location

excellent tram link into Bordeaux centre. It’s also just a few minutes drive to the motorway, giving you really Pessac itself has some lovely bars and restaurants, and a really relaxed vibe.

An Ideal Stay

Many times during our two weeks here we said that this location and property were "Goldilocks" meaning the ideal stay. We were warmly welcomed by the hosts who provided many suggestions for the best places to go and the things to see in the area. It is an easy walk to the center of Pessac where there are many restaurants and other services as well as the tram into Bordeaux. Zeer geschikt vakantieverblijf voor familie.

Bij aankomst werden we zeer vriendelijk onthaald , kregen alle mogelijke uitleg en waren bereid om voor het even wat te helpen. De woning is zeer recent, super proper en alles was ruimschoots aanwezig, kortweg een zeer geschikt vakantieverblijf ! ! !

Kleinod in toller Lage

Wir waren für eine Woche zu Gast in diesem tollen Haus, ausgestattet mit allem, was man für einen Urlaub in einer Ferienwohnung braucht (viel Geschirr, Küchenhandtücher, Verbrauchsmaterialien wie Geschirrspülertabs aber auch z. B. Mittel gegen Insekten) und haben die Woche wirklich sehr genossen. Das Haus ist vorbildlich gepflegt und auch die Lage (30min mit der Tram nach Bordeaux-Zentrum - Ausflüge an die Küste) sind hervorragend. Nicht zu vergessen der gepflegte, große Garten und die große Terrasse, die es einfach machten, immer ein schattiges Plätzchen (oder einen Platz an der Sonne) zu finden. Wir können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Perfect location to explore the region, nicely quiet, wonderful property owners.

It is just as described, with everything you will need for comfortable, quiet stay. We like to explore during the day and relax at night. It was perfect!! The property owners met us when we arrived, told us about the area, the house and answered any questions we had during our stay. This is the place we would stay if we return.

Agréable séjour à Pessac

Beau séjour dans cette agréable maison aménagée avec goût. Maison très confortable, moderne et très propre. Très bel espace extérieur. A 30mn en bus du plein centre de Bordeaux. Propriétaires chaleureux et accueillants.

Je viens en métropole une fois par an depuis plus de 20 ans donc j'ai fait pas mal de propriétés en location et je confirme que celle ci est de loin la plus agréable à vivre dans le même odre de prix bien sûr.. sans oublier l'excellent accueil que j'ai pu avoir. Encore merci

Beautiful Hom

The home was a lot bigger and nicer than what the photos were portrayed. It was incredibly quiet and the black-out blinds were a really nice touch. The Owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, offering ideas, suggestions, and helped orient us to their lovely home. We even enjoyed a bottle of wine and water in the refrigerator as a treat when we arrived! Wonderful place, wonderful time.
