This charming studio condo in the "Bamboo" is perfectly located in Waikiki, just 2 blocks to the beach, where the famous Moana Surfrider Hotel, Dukes, Hyatt Regency, and the Royal Hawaiian Hotel are located. You can watch Hula shows on the beach at night, fireworks on Fridays, and walk in either direction to a variety of restaurants, entertainment, the Zoo, the Aquarium, shopping and nightlife!

The Bamboo is an elegant 'oasis' with lots of island atmosphere and a full set of amenities, with a Heated pool, Jacuzzi, poolside waterfalls, poolside Bar and Restaurant, a Tiki hut, tiki torches, a beautiful lobby, and very friendly staff.

The unit includes: 1 Queen-size bed, 50 sq ft Lanai, Full bath, Cable TV, DVD/CD, phone, Free Wifi internet, Split A/C, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, complete kitchenette, mini refrigerator, water filter, microwave, coffee maker, hot plate in cabinet, toaster, hot water electric kettle, all utensils, towels and linens.

The unit is on the 4th floor, facing West (not the street nor the pool), and has a limited skyline view looking over the building next door (see photos).

The Bamboo is just steps to the beach (see map in Photos), where you can rent surfboards, snorkel, take catamaran rides, enjoy live music, dinner and dancing at Dukes, the beautiful Moana Surfrider Hotel, the Royal Hawaiian, and others. The location is perfect!

You will be sure to enjoy your stay while having easy access to plenty of recreation, dining, galleries, shopping, night life and things to do.

This is a non-smoking unit, and no pets are allowed.

** PARKING: Parking is available a few blocks away at the Waikiki Banyan (approx. $30/day last we checked), which is about a 10-15 min walk. You may be able to find other parking or street parking if needed.

** CANCELLATION POLICY: Our standard policy is: No refunds if canceling within 60 days of Check-in date, and a $150 fee if cancelling prior to 60 days. Note: We do NOT provide exceptions due to: road closures, flight cancellations, hurricanes, weather conditions, or air quality due to forest fires. We encourage purchasing travel insurance from a third party (for example: InsureMyTrip). Changing dates, shortening dates, or transferring the reservation to another person, requires a cancellation unless agreed to by the owner.

Great location!
The location was both great for the beach/activity area as well as to restaurants. We were here for 3 nights and it worked out great. There is a balcony but there is no view from the balcony other than someone else's balcony across the way and construction cranes. It didn't bother us as we were there for such a short stay and were pretty busy.The pool/bar area had a nice ambience and is worth checking out.

Located on the 4th floor of the Bamboo hotel. The surrounding rooms must have been owned by someone else or by the hotel because they were so much nicer. The owner must not be able to really afford to keep, and definitely not maintain this property. Mold, mildew and outdated furniture that was cheap to begin with. If you want fresh towels, you’ll have to go and find & buy the laundry soap yourself and pay to use the laundry room. You’d be better off just staying at the hotel

This condo was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary and a milestone birthday in Waikiki. Kuhio beach, food, entertainment, shopping were all just steps away. Check-in was easy breezy. The condo was clean and comfortable. We were able to get some groceries so we could make breakfast a few mornings of our stay. All appliances worked and there were dishes and cutlery stocked for two. There was nothing that Mark didn’t think of - there was even nail polish remover under the bathroom sink! The Bamboo did have a day during our stay where the water was turned off between 11-2pm and we did not have hot water for a day and a half, but that was not the owner’s fault. We will definitely be booking with Mark again and will recommend this listing to our friends and family.

On first day tried to get a hold of owner about how to work the air conditioner and it took him all day to get back to me, by that time I had finally figured it out. This is also a hotel, but the front desk will literally do nothing for you besides give you your key and take it back at the end of your stay. In fact they avoid your gaze and won’t even say hello. The owner should tip them so you feel like you are in a friendly place! The bed is hard as a brick and it did contribute to some trouble sleeping. I guess you really do get what you are paying for. The pool was okay except when a people with a bunch of kids get in well, it becomes VERY SMALL. I will say that the location is VERY good. This leads me to say, in general this is a good place that with a few upgrades (like bed) and owner response rate it would be close to great for a person who doesn’t need to have a fancy room for a great vacation. It is really close to beach, and all the shopping.
