Located between Deauville and Houlgate, in the heart of the Pays d'Auge, our house is warm and surrounded by a beautiful garden where young and old can enjoy.
This authentic Norman longer has 4 bedrooms (including 1 with a cot) and a large fireplace.
This calm and restful place is located 15 Kms from the very pretty beaches of Deauville, Trouville, Houlgate and Cabourg. All these activities are available to you: hiking, beaches, horse riding and Pony Club. I can send you other photos on request, the site having forced us, do not hesitate.

Lovely stay

We had a lovely 3 night stay in this gorgeous historic Norman long house. It likely dates from the 16th/17th century and was a real privilege to be able to rent it out. The host was very good at communicating and the check in process was very easy. The only downside was the lack of freezer and WiFi.

Quaint home

The house was lovely and very quaint. It is a bit smaller than it appears in the photos but we still had plenty of space for 5 people. The upstairs ceilings are very low and one bedroom would not be good for children. The house is about an hour to an hour and an half from the Normandy beaches. Overall, it was a great little house in the countryside and very private.

Charme authentique

Idéalement placée dans un écrin de verdure, meublée simplement mais confortablement, avec un grand jardin qui ravi petits et grands, cette charmante longère est parfaite pour déconnecter dans le magnifique pays d'Auge et profiter de la mer, des villages, et des bon produits ! La maison de campagne rêvée.

superbe

Super charmante longère Normande modernisée tout en gardant le cachet d'origine. La pièce principale est très cosy et avec une flambée dans la cheminée, il peut faire le temps qu'on veut dehors, on se sent vraiment bien ! :) L'étage a été refait complètement à neuf, c'est mécaniquement compliqué dans une longère car les pièces s'enchainent les une derrière les autres sans possibilité de "distribution". Mais tout est très confortable ! Et pour compléter le tout un grand jardin. On n'était pas à la bonne époque pour en profiter, mais on se projette bien pour l'été !

Séjour agréable

La longère est charmante avec une grande cheminée comme on aime . Pour ceux qui aiment le charme authentique de la Normandie et des vielles bâtisses, on y est!! Il est vrai que les longères sont souvent humides , on a eu froid mais cela n'a pas enlevé le plaisir du séjour. Et la cheminée et l'accès au bois nous ont bien servis! Le paysage alentour est agréable , le pays d'auge vaut toujours le détour. Ce qui, cependant nous a manqué : Un congélateur ou freezer ( dommage pour la bûche glacée et les glaçons!). Le manque d'ustensiles de cuisine et de plats de cuissons. Il nous a aussi manqué des verres à vin et enfin le fait de ne pas avoir de wifi!! Un petit sapin pour la période de Noel aurait été une agréable attention! Mais je recommande ce séjour pour ceux qui sont sensibles au charme normand! Merci aux propriétaires qui étaient accessibles!

Emplacement exceptionnel. Maison bien équipée et décorée avec goût. Notre fille a particulièrement apprécié l immense jardin avec cabane et toboggan. Parfait

Excellent week end

Nous avons passé un excellent week end dans ce très beau gite . La bâtisse est très belle , typiquement normande . Le jardin est propice à la détente et aux jeux pour les enfants ( mise à disposition de jeux de plein air très pratique ). La maison est très bien équipée et confortable ( cuisine , jeux pour enfants, matériel bébé) . A 20 mn en voiture des belles plages de Villers , houlgate ... Un séjour vraiment agréable. M. Legendre

un très bel endroit et un paradis pour les enfants

nous avons réservé avec nos deux enfants de 5 ans et 2 mois afin de passer des vacances au vert et au grand air. cadre magnifique et tout est fait pour le bien être des enfants. mer et campagne a porté mais véhicule obligatoire. merci encore pour tous

Wonderful stay at Auvilliers

The house is ideally situated for the Cidre route, Caen and the beach. Rooms are welcoming and with new bathrooms and kitchen make this in ideal stay for two families or friends with two double bedrooms and twin bedrooms for children. We will highly recommend this accommodation in beautiful surroundings.

Très agréable séjour à Auvillars

Maison confortable, bien équipée et très bien située. Non loin de la côte mais en campagne. Les enfants ont adoré trouver tous les jouets et pouvoir s'amuser dans le jardin. Environnement calme. Communication facile avec les propriétaires.

Charming, well-equipped house in a beautiful location, perfect for exploring the gems of Normandie.

We booked three nights here to break our journey home from southern France and to explore a new region. We wish we'd stayed longer! This typical Normandie house is in a quiet and idyllic spot - there is no noise other than the neighbouring donkey - yet is convenient for exploring the pretty local villages and stunning Normandie coastline. The living quarters of the house are spacious and well-equipped, with a small but high-quality kitchen and lovely traditional flagstones on the floors. The bedrooms are comfortable and charming - taller guests will need to watch their heads! - and the two bathrooms are modern and tasteful. One of the bedrooms has a slightly hazardous access which would not be suitable for young children or anyone with limited agility, but would be an adventure for teenagers! It was possible to lock this room off to ensure our small children were safe. The garden was for us the real benefit. It is huge, perfect for hide and seek and the owners left us with outdoor toys which our children loved. We hope to visit again.
