Gorgeous 3 bdrm 3 bath WATERFRONT home!

This home is perfect for relaxing and enjoying a lake view. 3 bedrooms & 3 full bathrooms. One bedroom and full bath are downstairs. 2 Bedrooms and 2 full baths are upstairs. Loft area upstairs has a couch. There is 1 full size and 1 twin blow up mattress. Master bedroom upstairs has a king size bed. Second bedroom upstairs has a queen size bed. Bedroom downstairs has one queen size bed. Oversize island Kitchen flows into the living area. Large private patio off of the upstairs master. The Lower level has a nice covered patio that leads to the lake. You will have lake access with a private pier (Boat in boat lift is there for storage and not accessible for tenants). Very Quiet Cul-de-sac. Great area for a family gathering. There is NO swing set or trampoline.

Family wedding

The property was clean, had all the conveniences, the right number of beds and a perfect location. Our grandson’s wedding was 4 miles down the road. Thank you to the very responsive manager (I had a few questions) and to the owners for sharing their home.

Great lake front getaway!

Not only was the house clean, extremely comfortable, and with an awesome view, we had very on point communication with questions. Can't wait to stay here again next time we get an opportunity.

Very comfortable stay.

Our family stayed for a nearby wedding and the home was exactly what we needed. Linda was very easy to communicate with and everything went very smoothly.

Nice getaway

Family had a great time swimming and fishing. House was clean and had everything we needed. We all had lots of room to spread out. Neighbors were very nice. Definitely would love to come back.

Great for a relaxing fishing weekend

Overall our stay at this house was really good minus 2 small issues. Firstly, the oven and stove were not working, but we made do with using the grill. The host let us have a later check out to make up for the stove inconvenience which we appreciated. Unfortunately, we did see a roach in one of the drawers on our first day there which was not ideal to say the least. Besides those 2 things, the house was perfect for us 4 friends and very spacious and we loved being right on the lake.

Great location

House is as advertised through pictures and a great quiet neighborhood. Linda is very quick to respond. The house is perfectly located in the middle of the lake and close to marina and brewery with boat slips to enjoy lunch and a cold craft beer. Looking forward to staying here again.

The property was great. We had a great time here with our family. Fun boating and fishing weekend.

Just a great place to spend sometime with your family. I was able to dock my boat behind the house (great boat dock). The house was Beautiful ! Linda , the property mgr. easy to work with. The grandsons were able to catch some fish . Later that night we had a fish fry. Just a wonderful time of Unforgettable memories !

Great!

Overall a great place! The house is spacious and tidy, and the backyard and view of the lake are amazing. Property owner was prompt and helpful throughout the booking process. Out of the owners control, the only tiny drawback was that the road to access the house requires a lot of time winding through a neighborhood with extremely narrow streets, minimal street lights, and quite a bit of traffic, so getting in and out to go places isn’t super convenient.

Couples wknd trip...

Linda was a bit sarcastic and straight forward. Linda contacted me first by app message, then followed up then a text advising me, check out was 10am... but my contract stated 10pm. I was SHOCKED when we arrived to the house and saw the TRUMP/PENCE sign in the lawn. That made all of us feel super uncomfortable. Maybe they should keep their political signs on their own personal lawns.... Other than that the house was cool. The bed in the smaller room upstairs is hard and make noise... And the toilet downstairs contantly refills.

In town for a wedding!

This home is very clean and open with plenty of room to spread out. Loved that it had 3 full bathrooms, always a plus. We sat out back on the deck each night and watched the sunset, just beautiful! I would stay here again in a heartbeat if in the area. We enjoyed our stay very much. The owner was easy to get in touch with.

A couples Birthday getaway

Everything was lovely WE all enjoyed ourselves!! The house and the view exceeded our Expectations! Very spacious and the men loved the fact there was fishing rod available. They wasn’t allowed to bring their personal ones😏. Everyone was able to get a full experience. Anytime I ever want to visit Texas I will be looking to rent this place again!!!

Great stay

The house was beautiful and spacious. We loved the big windows looking out onto the lake, though a couple of the shades were broken which made for a very sunny living room in the late afternoon. The sunsets over the lake are amazing and we really enjoyed the pontoon boat rental that was recommended. We also enjoyed taking the kayaks out but I didn't love the single blade paddle and the retaining wall is a bit tall so you might need two people to get the them in the water unless you go down to the boat ramp.

Have had better experiences elsewhere

The property was clean for the most part, the upstairs secondary bedroom had dirty linens, flies, etc. in the bed very gross. Also, this property boasts that it can accommodate 8 people which we planned on having, but two of our party could not make it at the last minute....which turned out for the better since this property is more suitable for 5-6 depending on sleeping arrangements (3 couples could fit). The upstairs "game room" has a very poor pullout sofa, maybe okay for small children, but my teenage son was very uncomfortable sleeping on it. There were two air mattresses available, but the hand pump did not work so that left those unusable for our stay, probably would have been a better option than the pull out sofa. We brought our boat with us, but should have done a lot more research before booking this location, Lake Houston is not a great boating lake, multiple low spots (we went front 24 feet to 1.4 feet without any notice or warning signs around (super dangerous), tree stumps, and to top it off no marina with gas located on the water. Never heard of such a thing! Lastly, the listing tells you there is no swing set, but there is a trampoline pictured and our teenagers were looking forward to jumping on it, but there isn't a trampoline either. Needless to stay, I'm pretty sure we won't plan another vacation to Lake Houston.

Great stay, great communication

Owner was quick to respond with any questions we had. Quiet neighborhood and house to sit back and relax. Enjoyed the view every morning and sunsets. Owner left us a contact for jet ski rentals which we took advantage of. This is our second time at this property.

Good enough lake house

My family and I had booked this lake house in hopes of having a nice relaxing quarantine "stay-cation" where the kids could play freely and enjoy the amenities we saw in the listing's pictures. However, when we arrived to the lake house, the playground was gone and the trampoline looked like it hadn't been used in ages given the amount of ants crawling throughout and the wasp nest that had been built underneath it. I understand that those amenities were not listed in the property's details, but having them pictured was very misleading. Needless to say, we weren't left with many safe options for outdoor play with a 3.5 year old and 1 year old so we decided to end our "stay-cation" 2 days early which the property manager was very understanding of. Ultimately, the house is a good enough lake house and would be a great option for someone who has their own boat as there is a private dock which is nice. We did see the kayaks, but didn't have the opportunity to use them.

Nice COVID-19 Get-a-way!

Ms. Linda is very responsive, prompt and accurate. This cute little lake house was very clean, organized and updated. The beds and couches were very comfortable!! It was equipped with everything we needed . The scavenger hunt was such a fun and unexpected idea. Thank you for making out relaxing get-a-way weekend a great experience! -Palacios Family
