Très bon séjour en Corrèze, Gouffre de Padirac canoë sur la Dordogne ainsi que de bons restaurants. Toujours trop court sur une semaine.

Au coeur de la campagne Correzienne

Nous avons passé un mois entier dans cette maison. Sa situation est unique, nichée en haut d'un plateau au coeur de la campagne et des massifs forestier. La maison est de fait impactée par cette nature omniprésente et il faut l'accepter. Rien de bien méchant mais les loirs ont par exemple investi les entre-toits et ces petites bêtes adorables se font entendre la nuit. La literie est très confortable, l'ensemble des sanitaires refaits avec gout. Les installations extérieurs sont elles aussi impactées par la nature mais sans répercutions sur le plaisir de profiter du parc, du barbecue et de la piscine. Un endroit très agréable est très authentique.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé de superbes vacances dans cette propriété parfaitement équipée. La personne qui nous a accueillie était particulièrement à l'écoute. Le seul bémol concerne l'absence de sécurité de la piscine pour les jeunes enfants. Nous reviendrions avec plaisir si nous le pouvons toutefois !

A lovely secluded property in an excellent location

The house is in a secluded woodland area about 5 mins drive from Turenne. It is spacious & well appointed. The teenagers had a great time in the pool and lounging about. The upstairs rooms are in two disjoint sections reached by separate stairs, so this property would particularly suit 2 families holidaying together. The nice cool master bedroom is on the ground floor. We were met by the very charming and helpful Christine & Bruno, who managed to show us round & communicate the essentials just fine despite our limited French. The area is packed full of things to do and you don't really need to travel the full length of the Dordogne valley to find activities. The furthest we went was the Vézère valley for canoeing and the famous caves at Lascaux. There is a good Wed & Sat morning market in nearby Martel and a much larger one in Brive on Sat & Tue, also well worth a visit. There is a Carrefour Hypermarket in Brive, easy to find on the junction with the main North-South road.

Un lieu calme et reposant

Une très belle semaine dans un village historique. La maison, un peu à l'ecart, est très agreable. Un grand jardin au calme, une belle piscine et un équipement complet (barbecue, vélos, table de ping-pong sont les bienvenus). Idéal pour des vacances en famille.
