About this property

Duplex style townhome, upstairs are two bedrooms and Jack and Jill bath, downstairs - living room, dining area, kitchen and a powder room. Relax in the shaded, fenced patio.

Location, location, location... You will be minutes from plenty to do in and around Mount Pleasant, a suburb of Charleston. This neighborhood is perfect for a nice walk or bike ride. Going any direction will either lead you toward sandy beaches, marshy creeks, plenty of restaurants or the Ravenel Bridge which has an excellent view of the area.

Also located near the Old Village you will find The Old Bridge which used to link Sullivan's Island to Mount Pleasant during the Civil War era. This has been converted to a nice park and surrounded by the intercoastal waterway. Great location for fishing, crabbing, shrimping or watching the sun set over Charleston from the benches.

Restaurants on Shem Creek give you a taste of Charleston's finest seafood while watching the shrimp boats come in to dock or kayaks paddle on by. The old village Pitt Street area gives you a unique feeling of what Mt. Pleasant was when it spread out from Charleston onto the islands.

The house is minutes from Sullivan's Island, home of Fort Moultrie where the first shots of the civil war rang! You will be also about 3 miles from Patriot Point which is a Naval Wartime Museum (golf course across street).

In 5 minutes, you can also go to the Charleston visitors center downtown. You will see advertisements for all splendor Charleston and its surrounding areas have to offer in one location. There is just too much to list here...

Charleston may be a small town, but this city punches well above its weight. When you consider everything, it has to offer - history, culture, food, charm - it's no wonder the city has topped country's list of the best small cities in the U.S. for fifteen years running. Great Property and Host

Great location, property and host. We were there for baseball games at Shipyard Park and also wanted to visit the beach and Charleston - the location was extremely convenient to all three. Tons of great restaurants around, The townhouse has everything you need and you feel right at home. Angela was also extremely accommodating.

Perfect

Our host, Angela, was great at communicating throughout the entire process. She let it be known that we should feel free to reach out with any questions, concerns or advice on the area. The home was the perfect size for my adult day and I. We loved sitting out back and enjoying coffee/tea as we made plans for the day. Angela has anticipated most every need, so upon your arrival you can unpack, relax and decide what you may wish to do for staples and food. I appreciated all the little small extras such as a variety of teas and at least one refill of a garbage liner for each. The location is perfect as we were 15-20 minutes from downtown Charleston and 5-10 minutes from Isle of Palm and Sullivan’s Island. Thank you for your kindness and sharing your home with us.❤️

A perfect home away from home

Pleasant in Mt. Pleasant

This was a wonderful getaway! Angela was easily accessible when needed and wonderful to work with. The location is perfect! Close enough to anything you could possibly want, yet away from the hustle and bustle. I would definitely stay again!

Mt. Pleasant/Charleston vacation

Angela’s duplex was one of the best places I’ve stayed while traveling. It was clean, tastefully decorated and so comfortable. The two bedrooms were perfect for friends traveling together. The bathroom shares a shower/ tub with each guest having their own sink and toilet accessed by their own room. Plenty of closet space for clothes. The kitchen had everything we needed. This home is in great location for getting to all the Mt. Pleasant and Charleston sites. Just a short jaunt over the Arthur Ravenel Bridge to the heart of Charleston’s historic district. The neighborhood is quiet and attractive. The back courtyard is great for morning coffee. Angela was a great host. Would definitely come stay here again.

Immaculate, comfortable, well appointed, extremely well located. Great host. Angela’s townhome was perfect for us. Within walking distance from a grocery store and a pleasant restaurant. Within 10 minutes driving from downtown Charleston, beautiful beaches, and any type of service or restaurant that you can imagine. Great location, home & hospitality

Excellent rental experience & very central location made for a wonderful new year’s visit to the Charleston area / Mt. Pleasant. This home is comfortable and clean and very close to many area attractions including downtown Charleston, Patriots Point, Sullivan Island & Isle of Palm. We easily biked to the beach on Sullivan’s Island and walked to many amenities including the grocery store, coffee shops & restaurants. The house is a two story home with kitchen / dining / living room / bathroom on the first floor & two bedrooms and a second bathroom upstairs. It has a sweet backyard courtyard for enjoyable outdoor eating. We appreciated the attention to detail with extras like coffee, kitchen essentials & shampoo / conditioner in the bathroom. Angela was attentive & responsive host. Highly recommend!

Abolutely Perfect

Great property with a responsive owner

We're from Ohio & went to Charleston area to charter a fishing trip for son's birthday. My mom tagged along and this property served us perfectly. Owner, Angela, met us in person and gave us a tour. We used to live in the area and this was perfect jump off point to start off each day. Property was clean, spacious, and we reached out to Angela one night due to an issue with a bathroom. She asked when it would be convenient to stop by and had the issue fixed the following day. She's very courteous and hands on to make sure you have a great stay. Would definitely recommend this property and owner to anyone!

Perfect location!

Angela has the house arranged so you really do feel “at home”. I felt like I might as well have been at my parents’ house with all of the small touches Angela has arranged in the house. I highly recommend staying here! My best friend and I went to Charleston for a long weekend to get some of her wedding planning done. Angela’s townhome was perfect for our stay. We were just a 10 minute trip from downtown Charleston but honestly, we took advantage of all that Mt. Pleasant has to offer. We were so impressed by the restaurants and bars. And the townhouse is just a few minute drive from Publix, or you can walk to Harris Teeter if you didn’t have too many groceries to bring back. We also took a trip out to Sullivan Island and Isle of Palms. Again, the location was perfect and made it a quick, easy drive.

Being the owner of an international company, I extensively traveled renting Bed and Breakfasts and hotels all around the world. However, we always preferred B&B because their local flavor, ability to rent spacious comfortable properties and meet hosts in various countries. Our favorite places are Capri and Amalfi Coast in Italy, San Sebastian in Spain, and Beaune, Provence, Bordeaux in France. Traveling we got a good inclination of what we value the most at vacation rentals and tried to implement this experience to our B&B.
After semi-retiring 5 years ago, we moved from Chicago to Charleston because we found it to be unique and one of our favorite cities for food, culture and southern charm. We will be happy to make your vacation as relaxing and fun as possible.

Ride down to the shore to see historical sites like Fort Moultrie, Battery Jasper, Battery Gadsden, and Battery Thompson. Sunny days spent on the sand are easy with 2 beach chairs provided. Drive 5 minutes (2.5 miles) to Sullivan’s Island Beach or 10 minutes to Isle of Palms Beach (6 miles).
Spend the day exploring everything downtown Charleston has to offer just 10 minutes (7 miles) away from the house. Countless historical sites, museums, world-class restaurants, and ample shopping opportunities offer something for everyone.
