Escape for a moment of peace and tranquility in our secluded cabin. (Note: As of July 2024, we will start construction of a 3 bedroom house up the driveway from the cabin. Not visible from the porch, but close enough that there may be construction noise, depending on the speed of getting the framing accomplished. Please keep this in mind if you are considering renting the cabin over summer 2024.) A 1/3 mile drive up the hill through woods and fields will bring you to a cozy cabin, ready for you to rest and enjoy nature. During the day relax on the wrap-around porch looking out onto the surrounding fields and woods – a perfect place to read, nap, and watch wildlife. At dusk feel the world relax and as night falls, view the stars in every direction.
The house provides a queen-sized bed in an open loft and a queen-sized bed in the ground floor bedroom. There is an additional fold out bed in the living room that sleeps 1 and a twin cot. The galley kitchen, dining room with wood stove, and living room provide an intimate and cozy environment. Although removed from the bustle of the world the house has all the modern conveniences – a full kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, personal Keurig, fiber optic Verizon internet, Dish Network cable TV, DVD player, and washer/dryer, and land line phone. The house is 15 miles to Cooperstown (20 minutes to the Baseball Hall of Fame) and its attractions and 7 miles to the Glimmerglass Festival. The Cooperstown Dreams Park is 20 miles away, about 30-35min drive from the cabin.
