This oceanfront condo is located in the highly desirable, gated Shorebirds community at Pajaro Dunes and is a south facing, third floor unit. It is a fully furnished 2 bedrooms, 2-bath condo sleeping 6 comfortably and is ready for you to enjoy. From the front door, you are immediately greeted with breathtaking views of Monterey Bay.

Enjoy unobstructed views of the ocean where seals, dolphins and otters frequently play in the surf and the occasional whales swimming by can be seen from the comfort of the living room. This south facing unit is located on the third floor with a vaulted ceiling and extra windows bringing in warm, coastal sunshine.

The unit is furnished with a California King in the primary bedroom. The second bedroom has a Queen and Twin bunk beds. The unit offers free Wi-Fi and a 55" Smart Flatscreen TV in the living room. The primary bedroom has a second, 40-inch flat screen TV. Both rooms have DVD players. Enjoy the comfortable furnishings and views from inside the unit or stroll down the steps to miles of unspoiled beaches.

The Shorebirds complex is adjacent to Sunset State Beach and is ideal for long walks, shell collecting and sand castle building. Other popular activities include surfing, boogie boarding, fishing or playing basketball, tennis, or pickleball on the community’s private courts. At night you can enjoy a bon-fire on the beach or simply lull yourself to sleep with the calming sounds of the ocean waves.

Additionally, you can enjoy day trips to Monterey Bay Aquarium, Fisherman’s Wharf, Carmel, Capitola, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and several local wineries…all are just a short drive away.

Eat in using our fully stocked kitchen and BBQ or go out to one of the many local restaurants in the nearby areas of Watsonville and Moss Landing.

We love spending time at Pajaro Dunes and have tried to make this a comfortable home away from home. We hope you will enjoy everything as much as we do.

Beach stay

The condo is amazing. It is stocked with everything you need plus some. The beach view is gorgeous and just a few steps away. We had so much fun on the beach even though it was so cold to us, 62 degrees was the high. This was my first time to a Cali beach. I live on the east coast. The instructions to get there and to get in the condo were exact and easy to understand. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Beautiful Views!

We loved our stay here! The property was exactly as described/pictured with stunning views. We especially loved seeing Sea Lions and Sea Otters right off the beach! Lovely Getaway!

What a blessing it was to stay in such a beautiful home and watch the ocean for a few days. This home is remarkable, clean and had so much at our disposal to make it easy for us to travel with ages 4 months to 83 years old. We had everything we needed right there! Perfect oceanfront getaway.

The location of the shorebirds at Pajaro Dunes is absolutely perfect. It’s literally just a dunes hill away from the ocean! This unit has a spectacular view of the ocean from the living area and the main bedroom. We could hear the ocean waves even without the sliding glass doors open. The hosts have so thoughtfully furnished, arranged and decorated their unit to make it a comfortable, cozy beachside retreat. The kitchen is well stocked, the living area is set up perfectly and the 2 large beds are super comfy (no one slept on the bunk beds during our stay). . The hosts have thoughtfully placed power outlets in convenient spots to make charging electronics easy. A few things to mention just in case anyone has “height” issues - The two large beds are both very high so both my friend and I laughed about having to “jump” into our beds. The shower/tub in the hall is also quite deep and not so easy to get in and out of but she managed. Also, accessing the beach from our building’s foot was extremely difficult. Maybe just this time of year- the stairs led us to the beach but the drop off to get down past the dunes onto the beach was steep and even harder to get back up. The 2nd time we went down to the beach we walked 2 buildings over and found that was less steep and easier yo walk down and back up. One suggestion to the host- provide an a couple Duraflame logs! Overall I would highly recommend this place!

Great view!

We would stay here again. The view is wonderful and the complex is very quiet and peaceful. The beach is very long! :) As other reviewers have mentioned, it is a bit of a haul to get your stuff up from where you park your car. Also, we would prefer a table of standard height rather than the bar stool type seating.

Beauty and the Beach

This was a lovely home with spectacular ocean vistas! It was a perfect launching/landing pad for our coastal explorations to Big Sur and the Redwood Grove near Santa Cruz. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay but wish it could’ve been longer!

Making Memories

My wife and I decided to take the grandkids to the coast for Christmas Vacation instead of buying them presents they wouldn't remember. Ages 6-13. The wonder in their eyes said it all as they opened the door and looked out the window onto Monterey Bay. The Condo couldn't have been more perfect from the furnishings to the sand toys and beach chairs. The patio was perfect for morning coffee and afternoon wine. The proximity to the beach complete with an outdoor shower to clean the sand off made our trip one to remember. The kids were all asking when we were going back. The wife and I didn't have the heart to tell them that next trip was just going to be the two of us for a relaxing romantic getaway. lol

Fabulous Getaway

We had a great time. The condo is immaculate. The photos are accurate, especially the great views. Plenty of room for the 5 adults in our family. The kitchen is the best equipped of any rental unit I have ever booked. It was so nice to have enough dishes and utensils to eat more than one meal before running the dishwasher. Excellent place!
