Great little place in perfect location
Last minute getaway to Carlsbad. Unit is small but well appointed. Great for 2 pp. Location is fantastic! Everything was turnkey. Would definitely stay here again.

Description
Our stay was wonderful. Love the modern design of the home. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars for the description is because it says there’s a gym and housekeeping on request but found out that wasn’t supposed to be listed as part of the amenities.

Charming Beachside Retreat
Our stay at this VRBO was nothing short of exceptional. Situated just one block from the beach and a mere two blocks from town, the location couldn't have been more perfect for us. The layout and design of the apartment were outstanding, offering a perfect balance of functionality and coziness. Every detail seemed meticulously thought out, from the stylish decor to the comfortable furniture that made us feel right at home. Stayed for the weekend, perfect size for a couple wanting some time away. Short walk to the beach, centrally located to downtown Carlsbad. Within walking distance to everything. Beautiful

Perfect spot for a quick getaway in Carlsbad
We were looking for a spot close to the beach and this place was perfect. We could walk to anywhere we wanted to go for coffee / restaurants/ bars. Miki made it easy to check in and out. She provided beach chairs and towels, and all the other amenities we needed. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Great location!
The unit was clean, updated, had great appliances and a wonderful shower and Miki was very responsive. It truly is just a short walk to the village and to the stairs down to the beach, and is located right across from the Carlsbad Historical Society. Our only problem is that the queen bed is pushed into a corner of the unit and with our back and neck problems, it was a bit of a challenge for the person next to the wall to get out without disturbing the other. However, we are older! Beautiful place and it was quiet and peaceful :-)

Very clean and great location.
It was a great location and the place was extremely clean with great internet. I was able to work from the place with no issues. Close to great restaurants and bars as well as the beach.

This is the 5th time my wife and I have stayed here. The space is clean, spacious for a couple, comfortable, and within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and of course, the beach. The VRBO host is wonderful. Five stars.

We will definitely book here again. The suite is located in the Carlsbad village area with tons of shops, restaurants, bars and is very close to the beach. It was well appointed and check in/out was a breeze.

Anniversary getaway
Clean space in a quiet neighborhood. Very easy to get to the beach. Very nice bathroom with walk-in shower. Washer & dryer was a big plus. Easy to walk to several shops and restaurants. Limited kitchen supplies but we didn’t need much. You can hear some noise/footsteps from above but nothing that kept us awake. It was very warm when we got there and took the AC a while to cool it down. There was no way to open the doors without letting bugs in even though it was cooler outside. I might suggest making a fan available and/or installing a screen on sliding door so guests can enjoy the evening air without the bugs. Overall, it was very nice and we would stay again!

Only a block from the beach and a lovely 2 block walk to town and great restaurants! Mikki was very responsive and helpful! This place has everything you need, including beach chairs to watch wonderful sunsets at the beach! We would love to stay here again when we have more time!

Property is beautiful, everything inside is brand new and it’s just a block from the beach!
Couldn’t be happier! I’ll stay there again anytime I’m in Carlsbad! You can hear the waves from the deck. The host, Miki, is so helpful and kind. She knows the area very well and helped me find best places to have dinner and watch playoff games.

Lovely apartment, new, clean and very quiet!!!! Location is perfect, right near the ocean- about a 3-5 min walk depending on how much stuff your lugging with you. The host was literally the nicest person ever, restaurants were on point like they always are in this area, I will definitely be back- being a former Carlsbad local, you will want to stay here! Has everything you need and more! What a wonderful few days it was!!❤️

Perfect Beachy Unit
I am a repeat visitor to this property and plan to stay again in the future if available. This property is the perfect blend of location, atmosphere, and quality. The unit it clean, comfortable, quiet and secluded. The massive sliding glass door allows natural daylight and evening moonlight to brighten the entire unit. When the door is open you can hear the ocean waves crashing. It is perfect for a romantic getaway and/or a great alternative to work (WIFI is great) instead of being stuck in a stuffy hotel room. Location could not be better with close beach access and the best French bakery just on the corner. Wake up to the ocean waves crashing and walk over for a morning quiche and latte. The owners are very responsive and respectful. Don't think twice:)

I also enjoy Pickle ball, cycling, working out at the gym, and playing pool/cards. I am an athlete and enjoy watching golf, ice hockey and college sports. I have 2 toddler Grandsons. I built this home and guest home and started living in it in April of 2018. I enjoy vacation renting my unit. Lots of nice, interesting people from all over the country.

Why they chose this property

It's definitely a Vacation Property! You can hear the crashing of the waves from the unit. It has cement polished floors and a large wall slider so you feel like you are outside. Nice outdoor seating.
