Situated in a beautiful village near Gouarec in the heart of Brittany. This modern, Bretagne-style, 4-bedroom detached house has been designed with leisure and comfort in mind. A short walk to to collect your fresh croissants and pain-aux-chocolat or daily baguette in the morning!
Relax in the beautiful surroundings or venture to the Lac De Guerlédan (10 mins) for the nearest beaches, swimming, restaurants, cafe/bar, water-sports (including pedalos, canoeing, paddle-boarding) and children's play area. Dedicated cycling paths are close by for those wanting to explore further!
5 minute walk from the house is a lovely little restaurant.
Local amenities (including large super-markets) are just 10-15 minutes drive...Close enough for ease and far enough to make you feel in the heart of the countryside!
Plenty to explore in the area and neighbouring villages/towns including historic castles, abbeys, markets and beaches. Visit the local market towns of Pontivy and Quimper. The North and South Brittany coasts are equidistant to visit the famous Granite Rose, Binic or the Ville Close in Concarneau.

Stoned patio area outside, perfect for eating alfresco and watching the stars appear over a glass of vin-rouge!
For your use and pleasure - outdoor dining (table and chairs), sun canopy, BBQ, reclining loungers, selection of children's toys and games! Also - Games, books and DVDs for adults.
There is a welcome pack in the property with many places to visit, eat, explore and shop. Also highlighted are the nearby towns/villages when they have their market days.

Paul & Keri are 45 years old and have a 12 year old son and 8 year old daughter. They purchased land in Brittany in 2008 after many many holidays in France. Paul's parents also have a nearby cottage which they have been visiting for 40 years!
Why they chose this property
Paul and Keri designed the property and spent a few years searching for builders, architects, seeking planning permission and saving money!!! This village is situated between their parents and close family friends, so everyone was able to lend a helping hand both in terms of translations and setting up services. They decided on this property from a shortlist as it not only lends itself very well for families with children of all ages, but also for entertaining and enjoying the finer things in life!! A Superb patio area for barbecuing and an open plan kitchen-living-dining area with breakfast bar!

What makes this property unique
This is a modern-build property with excellent facilities. Light, airy and spacious making it ideal for young and old(er) alike! Situated in the heart of Brittany, just a few minute walk from a local stop for those pain aux-chocolates and croissants in the mornings to being less than 10 minute drive from Lac Du Guerledans. A huge (10Km) lake with beautiful beaches, restaurants, water-sports and childrens play-ground. Excellent designated swimming area means all the family can relax and enjoy their holidays! A new indoor-swimming pool has opened in nearby Guarec as well as leisure centres in Loudeac and St Brieuc...There really is something for everyone! Being in the centre of Brittany means easy access to North and South coasts to explore the regions of Cotes D'Armor, Morbihan and Finistere. Beautiful beaches in Concarneau, Carnac, Tregastel, Perros-Guirec and the famous Granite Rose - the Pink Granite coastline!
