Welcome to Mama Bear Retreat, a beautiful, private, spacious, yet cozy property located just minutes from the center of Pigeon Forge. Situated on over half an acre of land surrounded by 80 acres of woodland, this cabin offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

With nearly 3,000 square feet of living space and 1,400 square feet of outdoor porches, deck and patio, Mama Bear Retreat is the perfect place to relax and unwind. One of the highlights of this property is Baby Bear Getaway, a 250-square-foot, detached "Bunkie" , perfect for various activities like virtual learning, arts and crafts, video game playing, or simply relaxing. Please note that Baby Bear Getaway is not wheelchair accessible.

Inside Mama Bear Retreat you'll find hand-scraped hardwood floors and tongue-and-groove ceilings that create a cozy atmosphere. The well-equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, perfect for culinary enthusiasts. There's also a convenient grilling area on the rear porch for outdoor cooking. Dine al fresco at a charming rustic table on the screened back porch or enjoy a meal in the indoor dining area.
Guests can take advantage of the park-style outdoor charcoal grill, complete with charcoal provided.

Upper Level:
The upper level features a spacious and private king suite with a luxurious shower-bath. Additionally, there is a cozy reading loft and alcove area, as well as a designated work-from-home space equipped with a computer desk, chair, and monitor. Stand out amenities include a 55-inch flat-screen 4K TV in the bedroom and a deluxe memory foam mattress. Mama Bear Retreat offers these luxurious features and more, setting it apart from other cabins.

Main Level:
The great room on the main level is super cozy with three reclining seats - two in a sectional sofa and one in a single chair. There's also a direct-vent, gas fireplace with floor to ceiling stone and a high-vaulted ceiling that really sets the mood. The deluxe kitchen is well-equipped, and there's a dining area with table and chairs, bar stools, and a wheelchair-friendly bedroom with a private bath. Another bedroom and bath, a laundry alcove with full-size washer and dryer, wide hallway and doors, two porches, and a deck complete the main level.
But the best part? A 5-6 person hot tub is conveniently located on the main level in a screened enclosed 50 x 12 rear porch. You can even access a cabana bath directly from the porch - talk about luxury!

Lower Level:
Welcome to the lower level of this beautiful cabin! Here you will find a cozy combo games and sleeping room, perfect for accommodating up to 6 guests. The room features twin bunk beds and two pull-out queen sofa beds, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep for everyone.
In addition to the sleeping arrangements, this area boasts a direct-vent fireplace, a game/card table with chairs, and a fun foosball table. Guests of all ages can enjoy a variety of board games or unwind while watching a 75-inch 4K Smart TV.
Venture down the hallway to discover a separate room with a pool table and a chess & checkers table for even more entertainment options. There is also a convenient adjacent bathroom with a small shower.
Access to the lower level can be gained through an indoor stairway or via double French doors from the outside, providing easy access to the lower level driveway and yard. Please note that wheelchairs can only access the lower level from outside via the French doors which has a wheelchair ramp.

- Stay connected with fast, high-speed internet via a robust, wireless mesh router.

- We have wheelchair ramps and threshold ramps for accessibility.

- Our location is awesome, with wonderful mountain views to enjoy.

- Cozy up by one of the two gas fireplaces, one on the main level and one on the lower level, operational from mid-October to mid-April.

Occupancy Limit:
You can have up to ten guests, not including infants. This is a family-friendly property, so no wild groups allowed. Respectful gatherings like birthdays and anniversaries are welcome.

Number of Guests:
Please provide the total number of guests, including children (but not infants), when booking. Rental rates cover 1-6 persons (adults and children), with a small fee for additional guests beyond six.

Pet Policy:
Sorry, no pets allowed.

Start-Up Items:
Each bathroom will be stocked with a roll of toilet paper and hand soap, along with paper towels, laundry soap, dish soap, and dishwasher detergent.

Smoking Policy:
NO SMOKING

Vehicles and Parking:
A maximum of 5 vehicles are permitted.

Property Fee/Damage Protection:
A $59 property fee includes automatic property damage protection up to $1,500. Guests are responsible for any damages exceeding this amount.

Cancellation:
Consider purchasing Cancellation Protection (Travel Insurance) from CSA or another provider, especially during winter months. Refunds are not provided for weather-related cancellations or Acts of Nature.
In the event of snow or ice, 4-wheel drive vehicles are recommended. Please note that no refunds will be issued for circumstances beyond the Owner's control.
