The home has lots of space and is great for families. The host is very responsive. Our trip happened during an extreme winter storm. Nolan did his best to keep us updated on plowing and snow removal. He was very flexible and understanding with check out.
I would highly recommend this rental.
The house is very big and cozy. Perfect for a family time in Lake Tahoe. The house is very good equipped with sleds, games, dishes and furniture. And the back yard is beautiful.
This home is located just minutes from beaches, restaurants and grocery stores.
The house was clean, fully equipped and perfect for our family! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!
We really had a wonderful stay at this home. It was spacious, tastefully decorated, and well stocked with helpful pantry items and lots of outdoor play equipment that we really appreciated being able to use. Our kids loved that you could easily walk down to the river in the backyard to play and fish, and we got down there a few times a day. We enjoyed the quick access to biking and walking trails, and the peacefulness of the neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again for future trips. Many thanks to the great owner for his attentiveness and care during our stay.
Pros
Very spacious. Bedrooms are all good size.
Easy access
Current technology ie. WiFi, TV, gaming
Access to river
Good location
Plenty of Off street parking
Cons
Could have been A bit cleaner. throw, and area rugs throughout house looked questionably clean.
Area rug in the kitchen.
A hose in the back to clean up before entering house would have been helpful.
No wine glasses available.
3 small glasses for a house that sleeps 12 is not adequate.
Overall nice big house and good location. Would consider staying again.
Spacious and well-appointed cabin sits within large natural setting complete with forest and field of boulders strewn along meandering river. Superior rental experience.
We had a wonderful stay at this home. Nolan was very responsive and was able to accommodate a special request. The bedroom/bed arrangements were perfect for our multiple families with small kids and teenagers. The check-in and check-out instructions were very clear - it's a lot to read, but worth reading to make everything go smoothly. We didn't get to explore much of the surrounding property and the river - we were too busy exploring the ski slopes at Kirkwood and Heavenly. The location is convenient to both resorts (20-30 min. drive), and off-resort ski/board rental (5 min.). We would definitely stay again.
This house had everything, cl and in a perfect location! Perfect for our family Christmas vacation.
Nolan was awesome! He answered all our questions prior to us arriving so that we were prepared. House was roomy & beautiful. Highly recommend. We will be returning. Many thanks!!

Family Vacation
The gates that are required to be closed are held together with bungee cords and are practically falling apart. The hammock is a very small backpacking one. You are not able to see the Upper Truckee from the back porch. You have to hike down to it. The house is VERY dark and the Hulu and Netflix on the upstairs tv rarely worked. If you are sensitive to fragrance, please note that when you first walk in there is overwhelming frangance that required all the windows to be open. There are positives. Plenty of clean beds and a nice big kitchen table that fit our whole family. There is a nice big couch that was comfortable. Very quiet neighborhood.
House was great, very clean. The bedroom with the bunks was great for the cousin to hang out in. Host was amazing, very attentive.

An amazing weekend to remember!
Everything exceeded our expectations! From the moment we got there we were greeted by Nolan, who made us feel right at home the entire weekend. Anything that we found ourselves needing he was able to communicate with us right away and help us with anything we needed. The house is very modern, cozy, spacious and well kept. We were so impressed with the attention to detail throughout the house which made our stay extremely convenient. We had plenty of room and had a great time exploring the creek and the backyard. Will definitely be staying again soon!!
