We were welcomed immediately. She responded quickly to a couple questions we had early in our stay. The location is so nice with grocery stores, restaurants and coffee shops close by. We liked the off street parking. Since our visit was winter we didn't enjoy the Courtyard but think it is a wonderful addition for guests in warmer temperatures.
The casita was exceptional in every way and our hostess was superior. No need to look further; this property is perfect. Lovely private patio and gardens, bedroom(s) are comfy, living area is spacious and nicely decorated, and the modern kitchen has everything you need to whip up a meal. The property is centrally located and a straight shot to downtown Santa Fe. This is truly a home away from home.
My friend and I spent almost every waking hour on the covered patio enjoying the shade and breeze. In the evening a flurry of hummingbird moths visited the garden flowers—magical! The shower is also a wonderful experience, so luxurious. The neighborhood is quiet and very walkable—Trader Joe’s if you like to cook, as well as a wonderful green park close by where people relax under trees, eat lunch, and stroll.
A really nice comfortable casita. Clean, bright, nicely furnished. Walkable to downtown, only two blocks to Trader Joe’s, but a quiet neighborhood street.
Maureen is a wonderful host—thoughtful, kind, flexible with roommate arrangements, and just really helpful. The casita itself was lovely, well-equipped, and comfortable for a month-long stay for two friends. It's within a short walk to Trader Joe's and Whole Foods, so we didn't need a car. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Great location, quiet neighborhood, walk to shops, restaurants. Comfortable accommodation, well kept, just the right size for two people. Superb management, Maureen is accessible, helpful, and friendly. We enjoyed our 5 week stay immensely.
This is an amazing place to stay. I was there for a month and felt like I was in a luxury hotel. Very nicely decorated, really comfortable, and with everything you could ask for. Excellent location. And Maureen is a very gracious and helpful hostess! Loved my time there.

Beautiful Santa Fe Home
My husband and I stayed at Hyde Away for two months and we highly recommend it. The home is beautifully decorated and has an awesome front patio. You also have your own driveway that fits two cars. The kitchen is well stocked for daily cooking, the beds are super comfortable, great TV, the wifi worked consistently, and the shower is nice and hot. We also enjoyed being only a block away from Trader Joe's, CVS, and a number of delicious bakeries. It was nice being near those things but yet you can't hear traffic noise in the house. The owner, Maureen, is AWESOME. So friendly and helpful. We stay in vacation rentals full time right now due to traveling for work and this is a good one. You'll love it.

Charming Casita
This property is ideally located in Santa Fe. Easy walk to restaurants and grocery stores, Trader Joe's and Whole Foods. The owner is a gem. She makes you feel welcome and if you find you need something to make your stay better she will go the extra mile to make it happen. Plenty of towels, kitchen items and linens for the place. A closed in private patio will be nice in the spring and summer. I stayed for 2months for work. Late night hours most days and I never felt unsafe. Plenty of lighting to greet you when you get home. Safe neighborhood. I would definitely recommend.

About the host
Hosted by Maureen Hyde
I love to travel and wanted to rent my guest house/casita but not after I made it a place I would want to stay.
Why they chose this property
Santa Fe is a very special city and the casita is located close to everything. I love that! You can walk to the plaza which is only 1.2 miles away. The shopping is so much fun you may be bringing back a bunch of items. That is why I always drive! :)
What makes this property unique
Convenience, location, near many restaurants, and a lovely place to enjoy your Santa Fe stay.
