Stunning Views & Lots of Room

The views of downtown Vancouver and the surrounding woods cannot be beat. We loved the pool and hot tub. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Wonderful Canadian Stay

Home was very clean and bright. Lots of windows to be able to enjoy the amazing view of the harbour at night. Kitchen was stocked nicely. It felt like our home away from home, so cozy. We enjoyed the hot tub every night. There are a lot of fun activities nearby.

Perfect home base for exploring Vancouver

We had a terrific vacation exploring Vancouver and catching up with friends and family from all over (Europe, Australia and Canada) while staying at Lois’ gorgeous home. Lois was extremely responsive and helpful, and checking in and out was a breeze. Every detail of the house is thoughtfully curated and incredibly well setup (twin ovens and twin dishwashers is fabulous for hosting those family dinners). The views of Vancouver and the ocean are spectacular. We were very fortunate to get multiple days of clear skies and enjoyed sundowners from the front porch and inside behind the large windows. The house is located within a short drive from many of the must see attractions and the pool and hot tub were very welcome after a long day of sightseeing. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

Amazing View

Great house to use as a base to explore Vancouver and the surrounding area. We were easily able to go on day trips to Vancouver, Whistler, and Victoria. The house itself has plenty of room for all of us and the views of the city were absolutely amazing. It was clean, well laid out, and perfect for the whole family.

Beautiful location and view.

Our family enjoyed this beautiful home, which was clean, spacious and well equipped. The views were amazing from the front of this home. The backyard was large and pleasant and the pool and hot tub were great.

Fantastic home & location

We stayed here with 4 visiting family members (2 adults & 2 kids). It is so close to many North Vancouver attractions and was great to relax in the pool & hot tub after a day of sight seeing. All rooms are spacious & the views from the dining area and balcony are amazing. The host was very accommodating & super communicative. We would definitely stay here again.

Family reunion

Our extended family rented Lois’s house to celebrate my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. The house was big enough to accommodate all of us with our own space. The house and yard were beautiful, the view was amazing, and the pool was very refreshing during the heat wave.

Best in Vancouver for its size

Doesn't get any better than this - spacious, beautifully decorated, all the details thought out, great view off the front deck, quiet, fun pool and hot tub all to ourselves, comfy beds with a selection of pillows! Easy to get around - especially to Capilano or Grouse Mt. No AC but we didn't need it since that high up and being in the trees, it stays cool with the windows open. Steep driveway but plenty of on-street parking if that is an issue (winter?).

North to Vancouver

This was one of the best VRBO homes we have ever stayed in. Great for a family and friends get together. It was well laid out, spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed. Very close to walking trails and park land, plus all the outdoor sights of North Vancouver. After the heat of Houston it was a welcome change to sit on the front deck with coffee in the morning and wine in the evening, just watching the beautiful view of the harbor. Even when it was 45 degrees in the morning it was great. A beautiful view. Staying in North Vancouver was the way to go. Drove down to the ferry, parked and then went across the harbor to see the sights using public transportation. Avoiding the Vancouver traffic was the way to go. Lois was a great host and was very helpful in our planing. We would highly recommend this beautiful home for a family and friends get-away.

The Best Place

We booked this before Vancouver "snowmageddon" - we had a bit of an onerous flight and then arrived and everything was right in the world. Lois is a wonderful and responsive host and the place is as advertised. Lovely and complete.

Wonderful stay at a beautiful property

We had a comfortable stay at this wonderful property with a beautiful view, which we enjoyed very much. The kids had lots of room to play and found interesting board games to amuse themselves. We were not able to enjoy the pool or hottub but hope to come back in the summer when we can do so.

Fantastic house

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely North Vancouver location. The house has a gorgeous view and we enjoyed the pool with the warm weather. The house was well stocked and very comfortable. Great location for visiting the North Vancouver sites and also easy to get to downtown Vancouver. Would love to stay here again if back in Vancouver. Highly recommend this property.

Gorgeous, spacious home

We held a quiet and restorative reunion of some far-flung friends over Labor Day weekend at Lois's home in North Vancouver. Her home was clean, spacious, and well stocked. We enjoyed the large kitchen for cooking, the pool and hot tub for lounging, and the front patio for priceless city views. We even cozied up for a movie in the living room. We were able to go for a short hike just behind the house. Great spot! We felt well taken care of. If you are considering staying here, please note that you will need a car or be willing to take the bus for excursions nearby, unless you have strong biking/hiking legs, as rideshare services canceled on us a few times due to lack of drivers in the area. Also, be prepared to complete additional tenancy and pool use agreements upon arrival.

Property is beautiful, owner is unethical

Owner advertises that services "hot tub & pool" is open for use but tries to charge for cleaning and falsely accuses customer of "misuse" even though the use was just sitting in the hot tub. Would never use property due to owners unprofessionalism and unethical services.

Simply amazing!

❤️❤️❤️Wow, what a location, host and house. Perfect in every single way, everytime I thought ‘I wonder if there is ….. ‘whatever I was looking for’….. there it was. Spotless, comfortable, luxurious, great pool and hot tub…… and the view! Oh the views!!!!!! Thanks to the time zone difference from the UK I got to sit on the front balacony and watch the city go from night, though Dawn to day - unforgettable! Easy to get food delivered, and a super helpful host ❤️❤️❤️❤️ An unforgettable stay. I can’t rate Lois or her stunning home highly enough!

Wonderful Vacation Spot with incredible view!

This house is a wonderful vacation spot located at the foothills of the mountains. This means access to great hiking but still close to the city. The views of Vancouver from the front porch are breathtaking. Recommend highly!!

North Vancouver family luxury

Spent a glorious week with family. The perfect spot with perfect Vancouver harbour views. Our Grandchildren didn’t want to come home. Highly recommended and our host Lois could not have been better.

Beautiful Home in Upper Lonsdale

We had a great stay. The house is stocked with anything you could ever want. The backyard is beautiful and we loved the babbling creek beside the property. The house is only a few blocks to an extensive network of hiking trails and was very quiet. I would recommend to anyone wanting to visit the Vancouver area who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city itself.

Lovely family staycation

We enjoyed our time in Lois' home. She keeps her home well stocked with many amenities and lots of extras. The beds were very comfortable and the outdoor space is beautiful. The view is amazing and the home is has a great layout.
