This lovely 4 Bedrooms 4 Bathrooms 3 Toilets villa is ideally located in Sainte-Maxime. Situated very close by walking from the city center and the beach, you will enjoy to not use the car (as traffic is high from May to October, and parking sought) to reach the shopping district very typical : traditional restaurants, bars sidewalk cafés, food trades, groceries, bakeries, glaciers, old market.. This quarter is a lively and pedestrianized area.

Villa completely refurbished this year, designed by an architect, very bright and spacious, decorated with all modern convenience, and it sleeps 8 people. The interior is comfortable.. with notably new and high-standard bedding.

This villa has also a Heated swimming pool (+ many deck chairs) and a large terrace for dining outside or enjoying the amazing unobstructed sea views. The other views from inside the house are incredible too. Its location is really a major asset : imagine that you will be at less than 20 meters from the sea. :)

The pool (9.20 x 4.20 m) is illuminated by evening and secured by a shutter. It offers a perfect view on the sea and the village of Saint-Tropez!

Optional paying service : The pool can be heated on request, for a temperature (from April 1 to October 30) at 28 °C. The pool can NOT be heated from November 1 until March 31. Details : For the months of April, May and June ; then September and October : an additional cost of 150 Euros per week is required (payment by cash upon arrival) to cover the consumption generated by the heat pump. For the months of July and August = No extra cost, for a water at 28 °C !

-- For a 3 weeks stay = PLEASE NOTE that the mid-stay cleaning is obligatory (whole cleaning of the house + laundry, change of all the towels and sheets) = 350 Euros to pay by cash upon arrival.

All is very modern and thought to give high standard confort : beddings, linen and towels, showers and hot water, kitchen & household appliances, all furniture and deckchairs, air conditioning or heating (controlled thermostat in each room, quiet system), indoor and outdoor lighting, etc...

+ BABY-FOOT + NETFLIX + one TV per BEDROOM !

Access to the sea : protected marine site in front of the house = swimming, snorkeling, and paddle possible (swimming shoes recommended for rocks).
First sandy beach within walking distance : about 5 minutes.

Access to Saint -Tropez : by shuttle transport (green boats) 24/24 hour and 7/7 day in summer. This port is at less than 7 minutes on foot from the villa.

Eine schöne Zeit in Saint Maxime

Wir haben in der Villa einen herrlichen Ausblick gehabt und den Pool und die Möglichkeiten zum Sonnenbad genossen. Die Ausstattung in der Villa ist sehr umfangreich und die Zimmer sind alle sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Lage der Villa, zum Zentrum und zum Hafen ( 300 - 400 Meter), machte den Aufenthalt zusätzlich sehr einfach für den Weg zur Bäckerei, wie auch zu den zahlreichen Geschäften, Restaurants und Bars. Wir haben nichts vermisst!

Relaxing stay in Sainte-Maxime

The location was perfect. It was less than a 5 min walk into town, where you could find plenty of shopping and restaurants. If you wanted to go to Saint Tropez, it was a short walk to the shuttle boat that ran frequently. We spent a lot of our time at the house as the view and lounging by the pool really couldn’t be beat. The property was at least as nice if not nicer than what is shown in the pictures. The only downside was some noise from the street but this couldn’t be avoided as the main road runs right by the water. Also most noise was drowned out by the sound of our kids jumping in the pool, so it really didn’t bother us at all! Overall, the property felt very private. We highly recommend it and wouldn’t hesitate to go back if we get the opportunity. It will go down as one of our favorite family vacations.

Wonderful Villa

We had originally booked this property over two years previously and the owner had kindly deferred our reservation due to COVID. This is a lovely well presented property with a modern interior and a great view over the sea. Location is ideal being in a quiet area but only 10 minutes walk from a sandy beach and the pretty town which has plenty of restaurants, bars etc. We had two rental cars between us and there was private parking for both. There is a fairly busy road between the property and the sea but as the garden is raised above this it was not an issue for us. Overall we had a great time and would not hesitate to recommend this property.

We loved it. Pictures didnt show that there were now more lounge chairs by the pool, the new L shaped coach andgreat coffee table by the T V and tables outside and inside. Everything you will need, including an ice maker, beach towels, and even a gorgeous tablecloth. Tip: set a specific check in time we had a little confusuion when we arrived. It all worked out fine but would have liked it to be more concrete in advance. Tip2: ask where the dish towels are :-) the house is half of a building. We onlysaw the other renters two times in the week, only heading out in the car. 10 minute walk to centre of town. Was amazing.

Tout est dit et effectivement, avec le soleil, nous avons bien profité de cet emplacement et de sa vue. La proximité du centre ville et l'espace à l'intérieur sont parfaits pour une famille. La piscine a été appréciée également.

Schöner Urlaub!

Wir waren 2 Wochen in dem Haus. Es lief alles sehr unkompliziert und das Haus war auch sehr schön. Es war etwas kleiner als erwartet und zu Anfang nicht 100% sauber. Es war jetzt nicht extrem dreckig aber auch nicht 100% sauber. Großer Kritikpunkt das WLAN hat fast gar nicht funktioniert. Ich wollte zu dieser Zeit von dort arbeiten und das war leider überhaupt nicht möglich. Unten nur begrenzt WLAN und oben gar keins. Dafür gibt es leider ein paar Punkte Abzug. Ansonsten super lieb und ein sehr tolles Haus mit allem was benötigt wird. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen wenn das WLAN besser wird :)

Nice house very close to the center of Ste Maxime

The house is very well equiped and offers an awesome view of the sea. The road behind the pool/garden may be a little loud but it was not a big issue for us. One should bote that the address communicated is not the address by which one can access the house by car. This was a little confusing. Wifi signal was weak and the TV in the living room did not work. However the stay was great overall.

A perfect stay

Beautiful property, everything needed for a fantastic holiday

Two families with eight kids, stayed for one week. Property is lovely views are to die for. Everything is at the property that you need. Pool and sun terrace fantastic, WiFi good, kitchen has everything you need to cook. Close to town for meals, but property is nice & quiet. Felt secure as well. Ideally located for St Tropez etc. Overall very impressed and wish we could have stayed longer!

Lovely Villa Great Location

Villa Kalypso is a lovely sea fronted villa well situated for access to Saint Maxime. Saint Maxime is a lovely town with great restaurants and markets. The Villa was really well equipped so we mixed eating in and going out. Everything in the Villa is good quality and the pool was fantastic with the temperature being 35-40 degs all week. This brings me to my only negative which is that whilst the property has air conditioning it just wouldn't keep the bedrooms cool at night yet the living areas were really chilled. To be fair tho we did speak to Vanessa the very helpful manager and she gave us some options but unfortunately nothing worked that well so the rooms were around 26degs at night. It was an unusually hot week tho so we werent surprised it didnt work well. This would not stop us from staying here again as overall it was super.

A perfect home away from home

This is a beautiful home with a great pool and walking distance to a lovely town. Couldn’t recommend it more highly. They were easy to communicate with and everything was so comfortable. The heated pool is spectacular - watching the boats from your swim is such a treat!

Absolutely loved this beautiful home & location.

We stayed here with our family for 6 nights, 7 adults, & 2 babies. The owner was always prompt in responding to my questions and emails before our arrival and was very polite and accommodating. The home is beautiful with an absolutely stunning view of St. Tropez bay. The house was thoughtfully designed, decorated, and well equipped with all the necessaties for a comfortable, fun vacation.. The house is within a few blocks walking distance to St. Maxime with all the restaurants, shops, & ferry service to St. tropez , & other day trips. Check in and out was a breeze, and the management staff was courteous and reliable. We would highly recommend this beautiful home and will definitely return when we are in the area. It’s all about the location & view!

This villa is modern, clean and perfect for 8 guests to live comfortably. The local Town of Sainte Maxime is beautiful and only a very short walk with many restaurants, shops and bars to choose from. We spent most days by the pool which was a great temperature and has views to die for, you never get bored to watching all the boats go across the bay. It’s a lovely villa in a great location and I’m sure we will be back again.

A wonderful week by the sea

We had a great stay in Villa Kalypso. It had everything - a fantastic pool, a well equipped kitchen with all the amenities you need, a big living room/dining area, four nice bed rooms and a fantastic view. Everything was fresh and weel maintained and the location is absolutely perfect. Our only small problem was that the master bedroom became quite warm. It is probably just that the AC needs to be adjusted - it worked worked perfectly in all other rooms.

Really lovely experience at Sainte Maxime and this property

Wonderful location (very short walk to a really neat town and easy access to Frejus, St. Tropez, Grimaud, etc.), great pool...just as pictured. The house is modern and extremely well kept/clean. Lots of little extras like leaving us start-up coffee pods, paper towels, dry goods, and a welcome bottle of wine. Internet Wi-Fi was a bit spotty; contacted the property manager who was extremely responsive (and wonderful overall). The only "caution" is that the 3rd bathroom is outside and so the house itself really only has two bathrooms. Just something to note depending upon the size of the party. We had a lovely time and recommend it readily to others.

Family Holiday in Style

This villa was a wonderful place to call home for the week. Newly renovated and in great condition, it had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We were 3 families with 4 kids (3, 3, 1, 0) so it was nice to have a good place to hang out in the evening and cook and drink wine while the kids slept. There are 4 bedrooms of various sizes each with their own shower and sink and two toilets outside the bedrooms (1 on each floor). During the day we took the ferry to St Tropez (10 min walk to ferry) and walked into town daily (10 min) for fresh bread (and more wine). The pool and the view was incredible and paying extra to have it heated (May visit) meant we used it all the time. The only downside: 1) Having to pay extra for the 3 year old kids to stay as they were charged as adults. But that was clear during the booking so no starts deducted. 2) The internet was awful. There are 3 routers throughout the villa, but the internet speed was terrible. Unfortunately a few of us had to do some skype video conference calls for work and we weren't able to connect. Even sending/receiving regular emails was impossible. I couldn't even check in for my flight online. We didn't choose this villa for the internet though so I haven't removed any stars from this review. Overall a great stay and would definitely stay there again if we're in the area.

Why they chose this property

Quiet and residential.
The sea is at 20 meters from the villa !
The first supermarket at 3 min by walking.
And the old city center at only 5 min by foot ! No stairs or rises to climb to reach this village and shops..

On the other side from the house, you have also a fantastic promenade along the sea.. and other small beautiful beaches less frequented on this path.

What makes this property unique

It's a great advantage in summer to not take the car (and avoid the heavy traffic and parking) each time you want to do something around.

And the villa offers a private free parking where you can easily park 3 cars, so enjoy Sainte-Maxime by walking !
