Indulge in a full spa experience, hot tub, steam room, dry sauna, salt water pool & on-site spa services. Set in 5 acres of private natural beauty yet only 1.2m to town. Enjoy 15+ hikes from your own private trailhead

In a recent article, Haute Living Magazine stated, "Eagle Dancer, Sedona's exceptional retreat, offers a sanctuary for couples and solo travelers seeking unparalleled beauty and personal growth." This is one of Sedona's few historic treasures, meticulously designed by architect Bob McIntyre, renowned for his work on the Tlaquepaque Arts and Shopping Center. The unique adobe brick walls bear his distinctive curved style, a rare find in today's architecture.

In addition to having a very unique architecture our home has a strong and unusual lineage of owners. Originally built by Platt Cline (the Flagstaff newspaper editor after whom NAU’s Cline library was named), our home was lovingly owned by Ann Miller, a Hollywood actress in the 1940’ and then by the Wrigley family. We feel honored to be the stewards of this historic property in Sedona and while we modernize we are constantly ensuring that we continue to respect the beauty of the architecture and the legacy that the previous owners left for us.

What Awaits You:
The perfect intimate setting to celebrate a birthday, honeymoon, babymoon, anniversary or simply to indulge in the joy of life! Our property comprises four private apartments, each with its own fireplace or firepit, entrance, and patio or balcony. These spaces are exclusively for couples or solo travelers, fostering a respectful, harmonious environment with minimal overlap in shared areas.

You'll enjoy exclusive access to a Eucalyptus-infused steam room, a commercial-grade cedar dry sauna, a hydrotherapy hot tub designed to target specific muscle groups, and a saltwater swimming pool, all offered at no additional charge. These serene spots provide ample room to relax while gazing upon the majestic red rocks.

Furthermore, we've gathered a selection of Sedona's finest healers to offer a diverse range of exclusive healing modalities right on our property. Each healer is handpicked for their extensive experience, skills, and warm-hearted approach. Once you reserve your room, you'll receive a complete list of modalities, with descriptions and pricing. These healing sessions offer a deeply enriching experience to enhance your stay. Modalities include:

* Massage (individual): $170 / 60 mins or $253 / 90 mins
* Myofascial Release: $270 (90 mins)
* Massage (couples): $340/ hr or $510 / 90 mins

* Quantum Healing: 60 mins - $195

Then to round out your wellness experience indulge in the hot tub, sauna, aromatherapy steam room or salt water pool.

Wine Tasting Evenings:
Our wine tasting evenings are hosted in our main house by request. Huib was trained as a Master of Wine and has worked in several Michelin Star restaurants as the head sommelier in Holland. He graduated, youngest in his class, from the Wine Academy in Holland and has a deep love and appreciation of fine wine.
We host a candlelit tasting in our main house and have the fireplace going in the colder months. The focus is high-end New and Old World wines accompanied by wonderful Mediterranean appetizers. It’s a fun and educational experience.

Price is $225 per person, includes a 2-3 hour tasting with 8-10 wines and wonderful appetizers.

Spa Hours:
Salt Water Pool, Hot Tub and Dry Sauna are open from 7am-midnight
Aromatherapy Steam Room from 4pm - midnight.

Salt Water Swimming Pool with spacious seating areas and lounges to enjoy the stunning and unobstructed red rock views. Our pool is 100% solar heated (to 79-80F) from late Spring (around mid-April) until early Fall (mid-October.)

Deluxe hydrotherapy Hot Tub with adjacent terrace overlooking Thunder Mountain, Coffee Pot, Sphinx, Steamboat and Three Sisters.

Aromatherapy Steam Room, eucalyptus infused, commercial grade, extremely soothing and restorative.

Commercial grade dry Sauna. Cedar lined and two levels to experience more or less heat, for your comfort level.

Our goal is for you to completely relax, restore and recharge in the midst of the sacred red rocks of Sedona.

We look forward to hosting you here! Either we (Iona & Huib) or our Co-Hosts will check you in personally on arrival. Then we are here to assist you during your stay. We are always happy to interact with you and also we will always give you as much privacy as you wish when you are staying on property with us.

We love the tranquility of this space with so much privacy and unobstructed views of the red rocks. We enjoy watching the sunrise and moonrise and the glow of the sunset on the rocks is out of this world. Then if we need to do some shopping or want to go out for some dinner we are only a few minutes away from town.

Although we are in the total tranquility of nature with over 14 hiking trails beginning right from the edge of our property, we are also very close to all the conveniences, restaurants and shops downtown (only 1.2 miles from Wholefood). Since we are at one of the highest points of Soldiers Pass and although walking is possible, we do recommend you rent a car while you are here so you can easily get around and drive back in the evenings after dining out. We also have a friendly local taxi/Uber contact who is happy to pick you up and drop you off if you want to spend a day or an evening without the need for driving.

Peaceful Perfection
Like much of Sedona in general, their place was even more beautiful in person. There is a special quality in both the kind, caring owners and the lovely location. If you are looking for a peaceful place to recharge and reconnect, you have found it. Plenty of places for quiet meditation on-site and the pool, sauna, stream room and hot tub were wonderful after a long day. This was not my first trip to Sedona and I have now found a new favorite place for sunsets and star gazing without even leaving my deck here! Not having to find parking at trailheads was such a great bonus, you can walk to over a dozen great trails from here as well. Their home had so many small details that were just perfect and well thought out. I noticed more the longer I stayed. I would say I give this place and Iona and Huib a million stars but they already have the entire Milky Way each night here :-)

Great Location, Peaceful Property
My sister and I stayed for about 5 days and had a great time. The location was perfect! Close to everything and we really enjoyed being able to hike straight from the property. Owners were kind and had thought of everything. We were surprised by the refreshments stocked in the fridge and loved the wine they provided. They gave us a great list of recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We would definitely stay here again.

Incredible setting and hospitality
Iona and Huib were amazing hosts, and the property was breathtaking. From the beautiful views of the mountains on the balcony, to the small touches like the in-room wine cellar stocked with Huib’s selections, everything was perfect for a romantic getaway. We can’t wait to go back.

Our goal is to create a sanctuary, a space where magic can happen for our guests, a place of connection, restoration and transformation.

We are total romantics at heart. We love beauty, travel and exploration, we enjoy getting to know people, immersing ourselves in new cultures and experiences, we are grounded in spirituality and we love all the classics, art, ballet, music, poetry and last, but not least, great wine and unforgettable dining experiences.
Our goal is to create a beautiful, welcoming space away from the chaos of daily life, where our guests can truly rest, relax, restore and reconnect with the essence of life. Our main wish is that all our guests depart refreshed, re-energized, transformed and happy, ready to embrace all that life has to offer.

Why they chose this property

Iconic views and total serenity yet with easy proximity to town! This is one of a handful of historic buildings in Sedona. Designed by Bob McIntyre who also architected the famous Tlaquepaque Arts and Shopping Center and other unique buildings in Sedona. When you look closely at the adobe brick walls, notice how they curve, a hallmark of McIntyre’s style and something that very few would replicate today.

We love this property because our guests can avoid the chaotic trail heads as they have access to their own private trail head, leading to15+ incredible hiking trails. Then, after a day of hiking, our guests can enjoy the on-site spa services and indulge in the aromatherapy steam room, cedar dry sauna, hydrotherapy hot tub and a salt water swimming pool before heading out to dinner at Sedona's finest restaurants, less than 5 minutes away!

What makes this property unique

Highest residential point in Sedona, unobstructed red rock views, tranquil, transformative space where our guests can relax, restore, refresh and reconnect with nature, with each other and themselves. Private trail head with access to 14+ hiking trails including Sugarloaf Mountain, Coffee Pot, Devil's Kitchen, Tea Cup, Andante Trail, Seven Sacred Pools, Soldier's Pass. Onsite Healing modalities available to guests where we offer Couple's and individual Massage, Myofascial Release, Reiki, Meditation, Private Yoga, Intuitive Angel Card Readings, and Inner Freedom techniques.
